Service team is excellent but they charge 3.5% across the board to use visa/mc. For a 1000.00 repair, they'll charge 35.00 just to slide your card. Will not use them for this reason. read more

In process of picking up a 2024 F-150. Dealership is friendly and I really liked salesman. The dealer has a small town feeling which I appreciate. WARNING: If you are purchasing a vehicle out of area, this dealer considers "Delivery" as "Drive it to you". Conceptually we bumped heads on this and overall was disappointed as I ended up traveling to collect it. I am writing this so others are not disappointed if they are getting a new car and it is being delivered. End of Day they offered a reasonable deal and they picked me up from train station. This would be a 5 star review outside of this hiccup and I hope this can be avoided for future customers. read more

Randall in the body shop is the best out there. I hit a deer and needed my bumper and headlight replaced. I took my car here and they fixed everything very fast. They kept me updated through the whole process and took great care of my car. If you have any body work you need done on your car, I recommend taking it here for the best service. read more

My first visit, the service advisor was friendly and the issue was resolved. Then I called the service manager Doug to schedule a loaner so I could drop my vehicle off for a noise concern that happens in the morning. He seemed very professional but the following week when I didn't hear from him, I called to hopefully schedule the appointment, he never returned my call. It was Jerkle and Hyde. So unprofessional. Maybe crescent doesn't give loaners to certain people. It amazes me that a business would allow this to happen and losing customers and money is ok!! read more

I went to the body shop to get a quote on painting my car from the factory paint coming off in sections. I was very disappointed in how I was discourage and talked over from the manager at the body shop. He said they had too much work and two busy and it would take too long for them to do any painting on the car. Evidently they do not need to work or want to work. I must say they outdid them self in disappointing me more so than the service department past in the past. read more

Had them fix a recall problem, then I get a call they can not get the lug nuts off, which I get an oil change and rotate tires and never had an issue with the lug nuts. To make a long story short, I paid 100.00 for something that should have been free. recall.... read more

My grandmother went here to get her brakes worked on. She leaves the lot and the car makes a horrible noise when braking. She goes back, and they tell her "oh yeah, you need new rotors". Why wasn't this discussed prior to her leaving the lot? Why did she have to drive off, experience what she thought was the front end of her car coming off, and to drive back and be told "yeah you need this too, actually." They had her money from the brake job already and she hadn't had any issues other than needing her brakes replaced as one does when they normally maintain their car, when she went in. She left there and went somewhere new, and the mechanic she ended up at, told her they had ground down the rotors. She needed them fixed. So she's out more money for something that was otherwise fine. She went back to Ford, and they refused to compensate her what so ever. Not a place I would recommend to anyone. Not the service department or the sales. read more

I barely drive my car outside of regularly taking kids back and forth to school, but in under 2 yrs I have have over 15 times for issues...one was a repair over $700 that my extended warranty didn't cover. Did what was required, may have been puffing the bill. Crescent Ford put on a child restraint device on an older vehicle I had just bought for my daughter-in-law. Yes, they had to install it, but they were very generous with their time. Checked for other recalls, just good business. Very efficient in scheduling, getting the work done. Gave me a spare key. They performed a free multi-point check and, as I had suspected, told me I needed front end work. The quote was not outrageous, about the same as the major brand of tire stores, maybe a bit more. After some research on parts and local shops, I took it to another chain who told me, in fact, that while there was some normal wear, the work was not as urgent as Crescent Ford had indicated. It's hard not to remember the shop that says you really DON'T need the work. Another difference is that Ford's service writer, while professional, never let me see the vehicle, shop rules, I guess. The manager at the national chain that will get my business, was also the service writer, but a 35-year Master Mechanic. One can say that everyone has an opinion, I, for my part, will trust this other chain. Maybe this is the reason I've tended to steer away from dealerships. Everybody's got to make a buck, but I'll remember the guy who climbed under the car with me. read more

I bought a 2015 ford edge from Crescent Ford Inc recently. Within 5 days of the purchase my check engine light came on. I have the warranty, took it to ford here in graham because Crescent said I could take it to my nearest ford dealership. They did the diagnosis.. the part needed was a purge valve and that is not covered by the warranty, so they say, and the diagnosis is not covered. So now I am out $160 for a diagnosis for nothing. I don't why I spent the money for a warranty that does nothing and for a car that the check engine light was on and off from 5 days after I got it.. I'm very aggravated at the moment not even getting it done bc god knows how much it will cost to fix it since it is not covered. I got this to not deal with vehicle issues. Instead gained a car payment plus repairs too. I also didn't have the car the day I was promised and had to wait a week because after signing the paperwork they found something wrong with the vehicle. Then after setting up a time to pick up the vehicle I arrived and still had to wait another because they said the car hadn't been cleaned yet. When I first called my sales rep about the check engine light he said he was going to send me a gift card for having this much trouble right out of the gate but that hasn't happened either. Horrible business practices. I bought a replacement key for a 2015 Ford Explorer. The key cost is not what I am upset with although it and the programming of the key was way overpriced. What upsets me is when i got my bill there was a $5.50 charge for a "environmental fee". I asked what the fee was for and the service writer says "oh everyone gets charged that". I asked him again "what is it for"? of course he could not give me an answer. I bought a key. They did not have to get rid of used tire (which they sell) nor did they have to get rid of oil. Suppose you went to McDonald's and the charged you an extra 5.50 environmental fee for a value meal. This was plain and simple stealing, price gouging, or what ever you want to call it. Do the math if they run a hundred people a day through the service department, I told the service writer (not his fault) that this is why car dealerships do not have the best reputations. Who ever owns Crescent Ford and Ford Motor Co. should be ashamed for this business practice. Thieves. read more

Crescent does a great job. Our family has been buying cars and using their service and body shops for decades. My granddad built trucks at Mickey Body for a living but took his car to Crescent for everything. They've helped me recently get a warranty rebate that the Ford help desk told me I could not get on my 2013 Edge. I've not bought a car there recently, but I know many of the guys from when I worked in car finance and from their involvement in the community. You will not find better people or service. read more

I had my 2013 Ford Flex serviced (Oil change, tires rotated, air filter changed) on January 20, 2018, The week following the vehicle began to run rough, spurty, etc. On Friday, January 26, 2018, it really began to act up and I asked my husband to drive it on Saturday. He looked under the hood and discovered the air hose had been broken, we took the vehicle back to Crescent Ford and they they didn't break, and charged us for the part, but no labor, We picked up the car and that VERY afternoon, the engine light cam on AGAIN, not 2 hours after picking it up! They didn't even run the diagnostics to make sure everything was fixed, and charged us ANOTHER $100.00, for warranty work. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! THEY WILL NEVER SEE US AGAIN! read more

Excellent job for a minor body work shop job. Shelby was first rate, and the job was done on time and on estimated cost. They worked well with the insurance company and followed their changes on the estimated costs. I'll take my truck to Crescent Ford anytime I need service, and that means driving past 3 other Ford dealers to get there from our home in Fancy Gap, VA. You can't beat Hap in sales, either. Bought a car from them a ways back. Had trouble immediately with clutch and shifting, took it back. They said nothing was wrong with it. Continued to have problems, so I took it back again, this time forcing them to let me drive them, so they could feel the bucking, clicking, jumping. They straight faced told me that it was "normal". Fast forward to now, when I took it to a different dealer who is replacing the whole clutch assembly which is under factory recall, a recall that began BEFORE I BOUGHT THE CAR. Crescent knew. They knew and didn't want to fix it under their own warranty work, so tricked me into waiting until it was past that date so I could use Ford's recall work instead. NEVER buy a used car from these crooks, and never trust them when they are lying about your repair. If they are willing to rip FORD off, who is their own make, they will rip you off too. Shameful. You don't want to wait any longer than necessary to get your vehicle back." What a bunch of bull! Took the truck in to be painted. Said it would take 2 weeks. It took 5 weeks and they didn't complete the job when they called to say it was done. While there, they found that the gas tank had rusted out around the filler neck and asked if I wanted it replaced. After I got charged $400 for the tank and labor, I found out that they had put a rusted salvage gas tank on it that was filled with mud, rust, and debris. I took it back and all they did was wash out the tank and said it was good to go! I took it home and found out it was still rusty inside, the tank hadn't been secured properly, and no attention to detail. During the whole incident, they acted like they didn't care that they had done a bad job. I finally ended up having to buy a new gas tank and fuel pump and install it myself. I called my insurance rep who told me that they didn't recommend Crescent Ford as a premium dealership but he would call and talk to them anyway. They did reimburse me for the money I spent on the new tank and pump but refused to give me my money back for the $400 I spent on the salvage gas tank and labor. I will not be dealing with them again and will spread the word of what they did to turn me away from their so called "professional expertise who get it right the first time." I have pictures and videos to prove their incompetence. If you mention this to them and they just say I'm too picky, just walk away and find an independent mechanic to do the work. read more

Love your service center and body shop!!! I would like to point out a few individuals who I feel go WAY ABOVE the normal call of duty to PLEASE their customers. First, In service, (I believe he is the service center manager, (if not he should Be!!!) His name is BOB BROWN, he is always smiling and so welcoming & friendly. I was especially pleased this last service call with him on Feb 5, 2015. Next, Yvonne in Body shop and David Hanes (I think David Hanes may now be in the parts dept). I unfortunately have had to bring my vehicles in several times for repair on body work and there is NOWHERE ELSE I would Go. Ok, it has been a couple years since I have taken my 1999 Ford f-150 to this dealership and for good reason. The first time I took it there it was to fix a horn problem, They stopped working because (I Assume) the horn would start blaring all by it self and most likely broke. They replaced the horns (Yes, Horns, Two of them) I had other things done there as well but the Horns are my main complaint, It wasn't a week before the horns started going off again. Now I am an over the road trucker and spent anywhere from two weeks to two months on the road. when I got back home I took it back, I don't know what they did but they said they could not make the honk go off on its own (So I must be lying to them just so I can be inconvenienced by bringing it back) I took it back home and by the time I got home from truckin' again, Yep, Battery was dead, Why, Neighbors say the horn was blaring all night and they finally disconnected it. by the time I had time to take it back the horns were dead again and the warren-tee were dead so I had to buy TWO MORE horns. after that they worked but They never did fix the horn problem and they broke my dash but denied it calling me a lair to my face. I, Just today, Spent 30 mins fixing the initial horn problem. Paid them over $500.00 for a awful job. will NEVER take my truck there again!!! read more
