Not enjoying the service experience at all. Was told I'd have a feee oil change for doing a review when I purchased my car. I did that and haven't seen a voucher yet 3+ months later. Also was told I'd get a free detail since my car was purchased at the end of the detail shops day and was rushed Thru and had dirt on the back of the car and side pillar post was sticky with residue. Also nothing yet. Went in for service for the first time, that was subpar at best. Appointment was set and an hour after they still hadn't pulled my car in. I asked how much longer and then they pull it in for service and the tech gets grease in my car. May not be bad to some, but it's a new car and it's mine to get dirty. They did apologize and said it wouldn't happen again as for taking so long. read more

We had the most pleasant car buying experience ever for our new car purchase with this dealership and specifically with our sales person, Jim Tarrer. From the get go, Jim was very communicative and professional prior to us arriving; he answered all questions, worked with me on pricing and financing options and even put in writing an out of door pricing sheet. Despite this dealership being almost 3 hours away and passing by two other dealerships on the way, we bought our Outlander from Jim! The rest of the team there from the manager to the finance man were amiable, understanding and did their best to make this a great experience. My suggestion is to run TO High Point Mitsubishi for great customer service, fair pricing and a non stressful car buying experience--ask for Jim as your salesman!! Truly a gem. read more

I spoke with a representative of High Point via text for a few days until I was able to travel to the dealership to view a Charger they had for sale. They knew 24 hours ahead of time that I was coming and I arrived at the time I told them I would be there, Friday at 5pm. Upon arrival, the vehicle was in no condition to show to a customer. The gas tank was on E, not low, empty! It showed the range was "Low miles." The car was filthy with dirt and leaves everywhere in the interior, food stains on the seats, cheeseburger wrapper in the trunk, cobwebs under the hood, numerous broken parts, surface scratches, etc. I took the car for a drive, not far because it was on E, and it immediately began making a ticking sound. We went back and told the salesperson. Their mechanic drove it, then the manager. While we waited, we looked at other vehicles in their used section and all of them were dirty, had sun faded trim, broken parts, and stained seats. These were all $20,000+ vehicles. This shows the quality of care you can expect from this dealership. After the manager looked at the car, he was walking right past me and was not going to say a thing to me until I stuck out my hand to introduce myself. I told him I was disappointed in how they presented the car and he said "It's a used car." I know that, but it could have still been more presentable. He knew we had driven three hours and had no concern for wasting our time and gas. Poor customer service, poor management, and terrible display of cars. read more

I bought a truck from here in 2021. It had approximately 50,000 miles on it. The process of buying the truck was miserable, and took hours of going back and forth with the staff. Within the first few months of owning it, I had the following problems: -The AC broke. -Oil began leaking. -Both turn signal lights went out. -The brakes began squeaking. For each problem, I took it to HPM to get it fixed, and the only issue they successfully fixed was the oil leaking, which was covered by the warranty I purchased. I took my truck there more than 10 times, driving 40 minutes both ways, to fix the AC. Each time, they were unsuccessful fixing it, and made it abundantly clear that they were very annoyed at my persistence in getting it fixed. Each time I brought it, I would have to call multiple times, because there was rarely anyone available to answer. When I did get the truck to their service department, they didn't attempt to diagnose the problem, and simply employed the cheapest method they believed would fix it. I would have liked to take it somewhere else, but HPM kept insisting they were capable of fixing it. Eventually, it was fixed temporarily at a Ford Dealership. It's now not working again, and it's February 2023. A few months ago, I called the dealership to inquire about cancelling my warranty, and ended up getting yelled at by a staffer that did a very bad job explaining the nature of the warranty cancellation process. In fact, their explanation of the warranty cancellation process contradicted the way the financial staff explained the nature of the warranty to us when we initially bought the truck. My experience with HPM has made it unlikely that I'll ever purchase a car via dealership ever again. It also made it unlikely that I'll ever go to a dealership for car services ever again. read more

I had the worst experience in my life with the service department. My vehicle was there for 2.5 months, I spent $600, and I received it worst than I left it. During this time, many times I called asking for my vehicle, and was told that the service manager was not in, and that he would call me back. Never called me back. When I was able to reach him, he would tell me the vehicle would be ready for the following day, and then it wasn't. Eventually I was told it was ready. The problem had been corrected. I went to pick it up, they brought the car around, I got in it and left. Not only the vehicle was not fixed, but on my way home I stopped at the grocery store. When I got in again, the battery was dead. I had the battery checked and they told me it was bad. I left my vehicle at High Point Mitsubishi with a good battery. in addition to all this, they lost my keys, and had to have new keys cut. After I left the dealership and realized the car was not fixed, I did not go back to claim anything because I was afraid that if I went back, I would have to waist another 2 or 3 months to not get it fixed. I wanted to send this review to make sure management is aware of what is happening in your service department and I will tell everyone I know not to use your service department. read more

I spoke with several sales people confirming that a car was on the lot up to 30 minutes before I got there and when I got there they claimed it was sold within the hour. Don't trust this dealership! I recently purchased a 2020 Toyota Corolla from High Point Mitsubishi. I absolutely love the car, but I had to spend $1200 two months later to fix regular maintenance issues that the dealership did not address before they sold the vehicle. The car needed 2 new Air filters. 4 new tires, an alignment, and rear shocks. I was also promised $100 if I referred someone who bought a vehicle. My partner purchased a car also. I have not seen a penny of that money and it's been almost 3 months now. My partner also was promised $100 if she referred someone. Our neighbor bought a vehicle, and my partner has not seen a dime. The alternator/battery light also came on in my partners car right after she purchased it. I was told the dealership scanned vehicles in, so they knew what was wrong before they sold them. Why on earth would a dealership sell cars that need work? I will tell you why. They are only concerned with profit margin not customer appreciation. Please if you are thinking about buying a new car look elsewhere. Stay away from this dealership. read more

Do not purchase a car from High Point Mitsubishi. I traded my perfectly running 2019 Kia Sorento in on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica so I could have more room for my daughter's wheelchair and Walker and they screwed me royally. I just went in for an oil change on my Kia Sorento and I guess they saw how good the car looked and it was clean and figured they could make a lot of money off of me so sales lady Kelly kept dancing around me and trying to talk to me while it was in the service department and I'll let her talk me into a minivan and within 24 hours I had problems with it she said use your $36,000 mile warranty. The $36,000 mi warranty through Zurich will not even cover the stuff that's wrong with it it's all a scam most people won't know it until a few months down the road when their car breaks down. Jason the manager and Teng Lee we're all in it together. I even saw Jason making faces after I signed the papers like he was celebrating selling me a lemon. These people do not answer their phone and they will not return your call because they don't want you to record them saying that you're stuck with the vehicle. Please tell all your friends and families and coworkers do not buy vehicle from this place they could care less about anybody that walks in there. I am a disabled lady on 16 prescriptions taking care of a disabled daughter and they did this to me. I didn't need a car I had a great car. read more

I went to this so called dealership to redeem a supposed prize from a scratch off promotion. I knew it was a way to get customers in the door and they are not simply just giving away anything. I agreed to look at a vehicle that I ended up not getting because the payments were too high. They kept making guarantees that I knew they could not honor. Then comes the awarding of the said prize. I was given a WalMart gift card and was told I needed to call the number on the back of the card or go to their website to check the balance. This crappy dealership can't even be honorable enough to give out valid gift cards. The one I have is bogus. They don't even deserve one star. Stay far away from them and to High Point Mitsubishi, lose all my information and I better not EVER hear from you! Piece of crap business! read more

This dealership receives a zero for ethics. They advertise a great car with a great deal online just to get people to come to their dealership. They I knew I had just gotten in a car accident and was sore, I knew I had to drive 2 hours and 45 minutes, verified that I was coming while I was driving there, and still let me drive all that way to tell me that they had just sold the car an hour prior. On 12/16/21 salesman (Anthony) reiterated several times before I signed papers, and during, that the car was under full factory "bumper-to-bumper" warrant until 60k miles. Because of this, I declined any extended warranties. ONE HOUR after purchasing I noticed the car was having problems shifting gears. After calling up to HPM, my husband was told by the service manager (Billy) not to bring the car there but to take it to Dodge because it was under full factory warranty and whatever the issue, it would be fixed at no cost to me. We instead took it to HPM as we saw it their responsibility. For over two weeks I was told the car was being worked on by Dodge. I was also told Dodge had replaced a right strut, but HPM replaced the left. I was told this by the sales manager (Teng) as well as Billy (he was fired shortly after so I then was contacted by his replacement, Nick). After asking for official documentation of the service Dodge performed, I received a call from Nick stating he "wanted to be honest" and let me know Dodge never worked on the car because it was no longer under warranty. He proceeded to say HPM fixed the issue at no cost to me and I should come pick it up. Although the car still had only a milder version of the original symptom even after they "fixed" the issue, I picked up the Dodge Journey on 1/8/22 because I was told I was holding their 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander (the loaner vehicle they allowed me to drive in the interim) "hostage". While driving the car over the next few weeks, new symptoms began to appear. I took the car to HPM again today 2/2/22 and the diagnosis is now a steering rack issue - still within the original problem of suspension. 1 - HPM was dishonest in stating the car obtained a bumper-to-bumper warranty from the beginning. All to find out the car actually does NOT. 2 - In addition,  the vehicle actually had faulty suspension prior to purchase. It was band-aided for 2.5 weeks and I was lied to about the repairs. I feel I am at the very least entitled to repairs on this vehicle at no cost to me NOT performed by HPM as they have been proven to be liars. Even better, I feel what is appropriate is a replacement vehicle although, as mentioned, I have reason not trust this dealership with providing me with a reliable vehicle. Best case scenario I want HPM to buy back the car and I have no ties (loan or vehicle alike) to the lemon. read more

Don't waste your time here. Unless you enjoy being run down by sales people before you even step foot out your car. Can we say desperate? And lied to as well. My husband and I wanted to take a look at the hybrid the GT model is the one we wanted so we made our way to the dealership. We also received a mailer for their liquidation sale, it was a scratch off stating that we won $500 in cash! Took us about a 20 minute drive to get there. Ask soon as I stepped out the car we were approached. Didn't even have time to get the girls out of their car seat. But ok, we told them we were interested in the outlander PHEV- we mentioned that we saw one compatible on Carvana and wanted to see if they can try to match the price. The salesman directed us to an office. We gave him the information for pricing. He proceeded to talk I mention that we received a mailer and won the $500 prize. So he took some more information so that he can see if he can match the financing option that my bank had given me. Hubby walked around to look at the other cars in display and he over heard someone on staff saying "oh those folks aren't leaving here without driving one of those cars out the lot". The gentleman come in an out of the office... long story short they couldn't match the price. He tried to sell the vehicle to us. We wanted the GT model which is the highest trim. He proceeded to tell us the SEL is the highest and it's fully loaded. It was a lie. They couldn't match the price so there was no deal. They gave us a $5 Walmart gift card as our winning prize and I was just shocked! We gathered our things and walked out.. some one shouted for us to hold on and wait. We politely said no thank you and proceeded to the parking lot to load the girls into their car seat. We still got run down. The manager knocked on to my husband's window. My husband rolled down and the manager continued to haggle the price back and forth and offer us $1000 cash prize.. it got ridiculous. In the end the manager did apologize for anything that offended us. I think that deserves one star. read more

GREAT DEALERSHIP!!! Went in last week to look at a specific car. Needed because of vehicle accident. We unfortunately had to leave that particular night due to problems with my daughter from accident. Called next few days asking if they could hold the car for few days. They did, picked up car tonight and very pleased. Edwin was patient and great to work with. Very understanding of the situation. Dylan was very concerned from day one about my daughter, really cared. Gary was waiting for us when we pulled up and changed license plate cover for us as well as very good conversation. Down to earth guy. Keith in finance was very patient when signing and getting insurance information. Not only that, we left paying much less than we were told last week. They saw a deal and took it for us!! Where do I begin? My fiancé came into the dealership to look at a truck we found online . He was greeted by a sales associate by the name of Jordan Sadler . At the beginning she was very professional . But that would quickly change . On the test drive she asked my fiancé if "he was single" . He was taken back by this question because he was there to look at a truck but he then stated to her "yes I am engaged" . When they got back to the dealership he told her he had to get to a job site but would be back in touch with her shortly . Jordan took it upon herself to text him first and stated initially that it was her pleasure meeting him and that she would do all she could to help assist with his purchase . He replied "thank you" . Then came the part where I had to get involved . She then stated to him that she wouldn't mind seeing him outside of work and stated what her hours were and that she was "free" whenever he was followed by a wink emoji. My fiancé then asked what she meant by that and she said she would like to see him outside of the dealership. He then again stated he was engaged which she followed up with "no one has to know". Then came a picture of her half naked photo of herself. At this point I immediately picked up the phone and called her . I stated my displeasure with what she had said to him in which she stated " I didn't know" . Again another lie . I would hope this isn't the way High Point MITSUBISHI conducts business . But seeing as I read some of the other reviews it seems as if there may have been some issues in the past as well. Be warned when customers come in to spend money . BEWARE! High Point Mitsubishi is everything bad you hear about car dealerships! My husband and I signed papers for a 1.9 interest rate on a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander SE only to be given new papers 3 days later claiming that our credit wasn't good enough for the 1.9 interest rate. The new rate we were offered was 3.9. They even back dated the paperwork to make it look like we signed the second paperwork the same day as the original. I took the paperwork back to the General Sales Manager, Paul Barker and he said that the first paperwork was a mistake on their behalf and that "the sales manager that was on shift the night we bought the car had been fired". What difference does that make to me? This mistake cost us $1,600 more and the only thing they offered us was $300 and a 3-year maintenance package which only covers oil and oil filter changes every 7,500 miles. What he said to us was "we'll split the difference with you". Split the difference of THEIR mistake with us! I was not satisfied with this "split" but Paul said "that's all I can do." The maintenance package was only worth $296. If you do the math, that's not even half! We did receive the $300 but as far as the maintenance package, all we have seen so far is a written-up maintenance package agreement that will cost us $296 if we sign it. It was told to us by the financial manager, Oscar and Paul, that $1,600 was not a lot of money. If its not a lot of money then why turn around and have us sign new papers? The WORST business practices! The WORST customer service! Our salesman, Keith didn't even know the miles per gallon on the car he was selling us but he sold us on that 1.9 interest rate. We were thrilled with our new purchase, what a way to ruin it! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!! And I'll be seen driving up and down the highways to and from work from High Point to Greensboro everyday displaying a sign on my car that says "Don't buy from High Point Mitsubishi" as long as I am paying on it. They offered us a free tank of gas for a good review...but it is not worth a free tank of gas, now I see why they have to pay people for a good review. read more
