Cookie decorating kit sent to my granddaughters.
    Karen M.

Love the fabulous food and care taken in preparing wonderful meals. Hollis and her team take care of everything for parties. Also, now enjoying individual meals prepared during Covid 19. Always delicious! I've enjoyed her cookie kits that I've sent to my granddaughters. Very creative and fun!

Some of the lovely women and excellent food at Panache

I employed Panache in 2017 for my 25th Wdg Anniversary and I still can't say enough about the service I received. Not only was the food incredible but from the moment I stepped into Panache and met with Hollis, I knew that I was in the right place. Hollis and her staff made our event so special with the way they decorated and made sure that my husband and I were happy with every little detail was beyond what I was expecting. Not one thing went awry. I highly recommend Panache to everyone. If I ever have the chance to host another large event, I would not look any further than Panache. I have two kids to marry off in the future so I know where I will be looking for my catering needs. I hold Panache in high regard!

We loved the addition of the fans and flowers! There were also some lanterns that they were able to attach onto the walls that added to the theme, but we forgot to take pictures of them. Once your child went through the program, they would get a certificate for hockey monkey for hockey equipment that had a picture of Perry and Getzlof on it. Don't know if they still do this or not but it was a huge help to get us started. Well our kids were sadly part of the C19 era. We had one who was skating since he was nine till 14 and C19 unfortunately ruined this for us along with our youngest who just started skating around that time. Made the fun of hockey a strenuous task, trying to play hockey with masks on was a real annoyance along with practice and games being canceled but had to be done for safety at that time. However, besides that whole situation, there was never a time that we didn't love coming to the rinks with our boys. It was always a very fun experience. The staff was always hit or miss, the coaches on the ice were always pretty cool. Some retired players would show up and skate with the kids from time to time. The place was always well kept the bathrooms well they were bathrooms. Changing rooms well if you know hockey you understand what your hockey bag smells like lol. We can only hope they still keep growing the sport even though the rising prices of equipment is living the earth. Hope to get back there again with my youngest wanting to get back into playing.

The locker rooms are also surprisingly clean and spacious. They don't have stadium seating, but there are a lot of tables and chairs and stools that give you a seat right next to the glass, which is pretty cool. I know they have skate rental, but I'm not sure about skate sharpening. I also saw they have a snack bar, but it was closed at night. Not as good as the rinks at Anaheim, but it will do if you want to get a little skating in or play a little hockey.

I started this review in 2015, a year after my wedding, in order to properly allow any negative…read moreemotional feelings from the wedding subside and also to properly assess this company's services. It's now 2017, almost 3 years after my wedding and I'm finally publishing this review. My wife and I hired K&S for our wedding and selected the platinum package, basically so someone could hold our hands throughout the entire process + D.O.C. We had a short timeline, engaged in March with a targeted wedding date in December the same year. In regards to planning, Kym was spot on. Scheduling visits with the flower vendor, negotiating terms with the caterer, and also coordination tasks at the Nixon Library. She's good about telling you what options can be expensive, price ranges for vendors, and creative ideas within a certain budget framework. One minor annoyance was that every meeting she would spend a couple hours with us discussing, writing notes and follow-ups, but then go MIA. The next meeting would require a refresher (like she forgot key details), or we'd be proactive and send out an email or text asking about the status. This problem became so widespread (i.e. she will tell you she'll follow up in 3 days but then go a week with no response), that I had to send an email to her and her partner that they were upsetting the bride. My wife and I prepared everything in advance of the wedding so that Kym's team could setup the day-of. We packaged and organized everything in bags with labels and directions. Signs were installed in photo frames, name cards were bagged alphabetically, and layout was discussed all in advance. We arrive into the reception area the day-of only to find nothing was setup the way my wife asked. She was just so frustrated. The money/card box wasn't put where we asked, which involved a lot of guests coming to ask us what to do. It's almost as if the assistants and other team members didn't know what to do or didn't bother checking with Kym for instructions. This was apparent because the following happened -see below. And finally, the biggest debacle of the night. We had an agreement with the vendor that the consumption bar was to turn into an open bar once the limited was reached. Kym actually helped us with this during the negotiations. One of Kym's assistants for one reason or another got confused and told the caterer to turn the consumption bar into a cash bar. Kym apparently had no idea (not sure how the assistant came to make the decision). No one thought to come notify or ask us. Embarrassingly, our guests had to shell out cash for drinks sometime between 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We didn't find out until we visited the bar personally around 9:30 pm, ordered drinks and was asked to pay -imagine our surprise. The caterer apologized, Kym said "this is my fault", accepting responsibility, but the damage was done. My view here is that the wedding coordinator is at fault in this situation as she holds the responsibility to speak on behalf of the bride/groom (or at least check-in with them before making such a decision). And since when does an assistant make a decision like this without checking in with her boss?! Also, Kym was the one that negotiated the catering contract for us, not sure how her team could seriously make such a huge error. One key point to make here, the caterer went out of their way a few days AFTER the wedding to make amends (despite their assertion that they only listened to the K&S team). They offered to treat us to an anniversary dinner and a few comps at their local restaurant. As for K&S? Well they were gone with the wind after that last cash payment made at the wedding. It still leaves a bad feeling in my stomach to this day.

She also helped me out big time with my timeline, and kept me on track the day of, without her, I don't know what I would've done. She's very prompt and organized, she made sure my wedding reception looked beautiful. My only regret is that I didn't have her help me with the entire wedding, wish I had her deal with some of my crazy vendors for me before hand. She really came through on my big day and knowing that she was taking care of everything I was able to feel less stressed and enjoyed my ceremony. Many thanks to Kym and K&S Events, I truly appreciate it!!

The day the event, the crew reached out and let me know they were setting up along with texting me a location pin. The Picnic Collective went above and beyond with the details. The flowers were beautiful, the grazing boards were delicious, everything was absolutely beautiful! I purchased the sandwiches for each guest and they were yummy.
