I recently utilized 100 House for an event we did for the Covina Chamber of Commerce. One of the owners sits on the Board there, but I really haven't had an opportunity to see his company in action until I was in charge of putting on the Covina Business Gala 2026. This event is the Chamber's installation of the Board, while also recognizing the Business of the Year, the Small Business of the Year, and the NPO of the Year. I have attended this event for the last 4-5 years, and it was always the same, templated event. So, when I was put in charge, I wanted to level it up. I worked with one of our fellow Board members to craft an elevated, theme 1920's event with live music, cigar lounge, cigar girl, and some immersive experiences. This is where 100 House stepped in... and I was so happy they did. They helped us build out our Cigar Lounge with plush seating and fire pits, set up a dynamite stage and backdrop, provided beautiful seating for dining, and helped create a one-of-a-kind entryway as a photo op experience. Wow! They worked with me at every stage, provided a layout, and were on the dot with my production schedule. Their set-up team was stellar and had so much hustle, like it was their event. And, the strike team came back after the event and left the space as if they were never there. I will absolutely be using Hundred House again for all of my events this year... and hopefully for years to come. read more

This company has been UNprofessional with me. I've called them three times for an order and Steven Martinez has not been courteous enough to inform me that he can't give me a discount that my church says he can do for me. Instead, he skipped calling me back and he wrote my order up without the discount and then when I called again today, Vanessa Estrada talks to him. He did not come to the phone because he was busy. She gave me POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH ATTITUDE AND COVERT HOSTILITY and she found after I placed an order with her, that he already wrote my order without discussing it with me and she lied and said the discount was 20% and that all my questions are answered in the email she would send.. The quote had no %20% deduction anywhere and I'm quoted for Over $700 for a pipe and drape and one chair rental delivery. I hope these people get corrected or fired! Yeah I'm pissed . We had 115 guests at our home for my wife's 80th birthday celebration. We have a large house and yard; but, we still needed canopies with some sidewalls, plus bistro overhead lighting, plus flooring over the lawn to enclose the part of the yard next to our covered patio. We also needed tables, cushioned chairs, and linens to seat about 70 of our 115 guests in the canopied enclosure and patio for dining. And we needed space and chairs under the canopy and on the patio for 3 of the 5 casino tables that we had arranged for from another company. So, we did some research and found A1 Equipment Rental. Their reviews made them seem trustworthy and capable of delivering all that we needed. Their manager, Luis, was very helpful, patient, and a pleasure to deal with. It was a lot to deliver and what they did was exactly what we had hoped for. They took longer than we expected to set up all the equipment, but that was only because they were making sure that everything was right and good. I picked this place as they have almost everything that you can think of. So I rent the table and chair from them. The rental delivery and pick up come on time, which is very good. However, the table was not as expected. Lots of staplers and sharp objects on the table which scratch some of my guests. I bring up the problem/ showed all the sharp objects on each table to the person who pick up and We wrote an email to the A1 party hoping that there will be no "victims" in the future. However, until today (more than 2 months) since we rent it, we got no response from them at all. Very disappointed with their service. Not even a communication or apologize on their side. read more

Rented a few tables and chairs for a small last minute holiday party. Recently moved to a new house and needed to rent our supplies. I called a few party rental companies in the area and all of the ones I called had a minimum order requirement because they only deliver which is fair. A1 Party Rentals made it easy and allows you to pick up your rentals and drop it off. It is also affordable. When I picked up and dropped off my order, the employees there were so professional and helpful with the loading and unloading. I didn't have to lift a finger and it was very quick. I have recommended them to family and friends and will for sure be using them again the future, hopefully the parties will only grow larger. Do not use them for an expo/event. They were the show decorator for the OC Family Home and Fun show at the OC Fairgrounds and we were told we had to rent additional tables through them for our booth. I kept reaching out for the order form for a month, was told by the show manager that Michael hadn't gotten back to her yet. Four days before set-up I finally get the form. Fill it out, Samantha runs my card and sends me a confirmation email... now today we go to set up and they forgot to put our items on the truck. Worst customer experience ever! I would highly recommend you DO NOT rent from them. They're plenty other party rental companies out there that will provide you with better customer experience. We ordered a canopy for my Dads 70th birthday. Turns out the canopy is too small. We told them what we needed and they did an arial view of our home and recommended the size we received. Turns out it's too small. We called to have them bring an additional canopy (which we'd pay for) and they said absolutely not. Told us we have to book 2 weeks in advance. Even the drivers said that wasn't right. They called for us and the front office told them no as well. Horrible horrible customer service. Please do not rent from them. read more

I heard of A-1 party rentals years before I finally used them. When I did call, they were nice to me over the phone, and gave me quotes on whatever I needed. They also advised me to go on their website to see what the items look like and all the different choices. However, their website does not have the prices online. I finally decided on which items to go with, and gave them a visit. I spend a few hundred on just the basic stuff and while there I accidentally broke a coffee mug. They charged me $6.00 for it. Not sure if all rentals have the same policy, if you break it, you pay for it. Which I understand... but, I'm giving you my business. I'm actually there paying for my stuff, and they didn't want to wave that $6. Well, the next day of my party, they came to pick up all the rentals, apparently I was missing a few forks and a knife. Guess what I ended up doing... paying for those too. So, as long as you know this policy, and you don't care, or are super careful, you really should use them. They have anything and everything to make your party worth while. Things from silverware, to table and cloth, to bar's and gazebo's... and so much more! . read more

I recently rented equipment from A1 Party Rentals for a small wedding. I had the very best service from all of the staff (office and delivery) staff, especially Patsy. She was so professional and really understood what I needed and she recommended things that I had not thought of. I have to say her suggestions and the fact that she took the extra time working with me, made the difference between a so-so atmosphere to a beautiful "elegant" atmosphere with the simple change of a chair style and the color of a linen. Used A1 for my wedding recently. After about 8 emails and two phone calls confirming everything, day of the wedding they arrive early (told them we don't have access till 5 they arrived at 330 and waited around). We Also paid for setup of tables and chairs. Right at 5 they start to load in and guess what!? They only brought about 9/16 large round tables, zero of the three (including sweetheart) rectangle tables, the bar didn't arrive and the drink dispensers didn't arrive. After having our families panic a bit they eventually went back and got the rest (well MOST, they only brought one rectangle table back instead of three) but now the event is minutes away from starting so our entire families in dress clothes have to help these morons unload the second truck. The whole ordeal put us 30-45 minutes behind and we had to cancel some toasts and other things during the evening. The prices weren't anything special, felt very high especially for "delivery" and the after-hours scam they get you with. They eventually refunded PART of the delivery but that's it. Incredibly disappointed with what happened. 100% would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Lots of options out there, I'd keep looking. read more

I rented tables from this place and it was a Saturday and when I went to pick it up on the time i was given by the front office, when I arrived the warehouse gentleman didn't even speak english. After realizing the front office wasn't open on Saturdays, the warehouse staff had a hard time finding our invoice and the said the tables we requested were at a different location.
