I'm actually pretty picky about my boba because I'm from Irvine/OC area and also SF, but I LOVE the boba here! They are definitely on the sweeter side but I always just ask for half sweet when I come and its the perfect amount of sweetness. Their tapioca balls are always well cooked. I got the taro milk tea w/ boba which tasted amazing. You can tell the tea as well as the boba were high quality! It was a little too sweet though, but, not surprising because most boba places are very sweet. My only problem with this place is that they didn't offer smaller sizes. I went in tonight. For the front time ever. Since I am trying to try out ever boba place in the valley. So I went there tonight. Was very excited to try it out since it had such great reviews. The store looked very aesthetically pleasing and they had games to play with. I really liked the boba and the texture not to hard and not to soft just the perfect chew. Now the drink and the flavor. I think they might have mixed my drink up or something because I order two honeydew bobas. And they both didn't taste the same. One tasted like apple and the other one didn't taste like honeydew at all. The flavors were not bad they just were not what I expected. I went home and had my mom try it and she said it was not honeydew. Lol Idk I also found it kinda weird that they use syrup flavoring. Bought a tiramisu boba and the guy made it wayyyy too sweet when he didn't even ask us about the sweetness level that we want. There are many big and bad boba spot names out there. I've had boba at a lot of them. Some of the biggest names coming from the SGV and Sawtelle area. Never would I have thought that my favorite and best boba I would ever have would have been in the SFV. Partea has the best boba in Los Angeles, hands down. While many other places get fancy with their teas and the such, it's the boba itself that is king here. They have the BEST boba I've ever had. It's always fresh and chewy. I've been here many a times and have not once ever had old or not good boba pearls. Their tea is also quite good and they have your standard tea flavors- which you can never go wrong with, but will always be quite delicious. They have a variety of slushies as well if you're into that. The establishment itself is always extremely clean. It's always a chill atmosphere and would seem like a cool place to hang out in, although I've always taken my boba to go. The staff is all super laid back and friendly and even on their busiest days, the wait is always short. They also have a stamp card program for those who frequent boba a lot. Ordered my usual boba drink from any location: a jasmine green tea with sea salt foam or cheese foam, light ice, and extra sweet. This was the worst drink. You couldn't even taste the foam, and it was just a strong tea flavor even after asking for extra sweet. I tried it for the first time and not too sure if I'll be back. This location was further from my house than an It's Boba Time. So I'll probably just be heading back to IBT for my boba fix. read more

I only gave this place a 4 star because of my drink. I got the Milk Black Tea Honey Boba & I tasted too much black tea & no honey. My drink got watered down really fast so I had to throw it away. My boba drinks usually last me hours to drink (I guess the other places I go to don't put too much ice) maybe I should have said easy ice. Overall, I enjoyed the place. Super cute place-nicely decorated and has tabletop games to play with-and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the matcha latte with cheese foam + boba and my cousin had the Hokkaido milk tea with boba, both in the hefty regular size. We both enjoyed our drinks. I love the cheese foam, but after a bit the taste of my drink turned different, it tasted more like iced tea...?
