Going out of town and your fur babies go a little stir crazy if left alone at night, Becky and her team will stay overnight. Fish need to be fed morning and night? They are on it. Becky and her assigned staff meet with each and every client and while your pets are in their care you are sent pictures and updates. Security and safety are the number one priority and all details of the expectations are clearly spelled out before services are rendered. Becky works closely with her staff to make sure that together they are not only meeting the needs of their clients and their pets, but exceeding them. They have a great Facebook page that features staff as well as the pets they care for, helpful links and local events. The commitment to animals extends beyond the families they service but to the community as well. This company was formed by an animal lover. My dog goes nuts when Becky's car pulls up. The happy dance is in full affect until Becky comes through the door and my attention hog pup gets all the belly rubs and love she needs. Most employees are well rehearsed on animal needs or at least the ones that they own themselves. I signed up for the pet club to earn points and get discounts since I have 2 fish tanks and 14 female Guinea pigs! They were super helpful and the owner was extremely friendly when giving us information. They went above and beyond when trying to find the best deal for a 60 gallon tank. Even helped load the heavy oak stand into the truck after hours. Helped with tank stocking so it would be a very peaceful community with lots of live plants which are low maintenance. Wonderful selection of Guinea pig toys, mine can't get enough of them! My ONLY complaint with this store is the sale of live animals. They have wayyyy too many Guinea pigs in the cages and too many rabbits in small wire-bottom cages. They do however have plenty of food, water, ect but no room to run & high chances of disease spreading. Rabbits and Guinea pigs run a high chance of spreading diseases which are deadly to Guinea pigs. The acrylic tanks/cages allows for too much ammonia build up which can cause URIs. For an unsuspecting new pet parent, they would shrug off as sneezing. Antibiotics are fairly cheap but has to be bought from a vet after diagnosis which many parents wouldn't do for a "childs pet". There are soooo many Guinea pigs in shelters and rescues in need of new homes and wish that they'd try rehoming before mass breeding at the store. Also, don't buy hamster, Guinea pig, or small animal cages here! None are large enough or for hamsters offer deep enough trays to fulfill the minimum requirement of 6-8in of bedding. For Guinea pigs, Midwest, C&C, or homemade is the way to go. Hamsters have more suitable options both store bought and homemade, just do some research!

I do NOT recommend Pawz Inn for grooming. While their boarding services are fine, their grooming…read moreservices are sub-par. I dropped off my German shepherd for grooming services. They cleaned her fine but they didn't have the tools necessary to get to her undercoat. This has caused some serious matting to my dog's undercoat. At first glance, she seemed fine. Her coat was clean and she was fluffy. However, upon further examination, I noticed her undercoat was severely matted, to the point where she's in pain any time I try to rake her coat to resolve the matting. They had called me and told me that they "tried their best" and that they couldn't get to her undercoat properly. But I wasn't aware it was this bad. She didn't have any matting before I dropped her off. After trying to get her mats out for a week myself, I had to go to another groomer to fix the mats. It took several hours and over $180 to fix the problem they caused. They might be fine for small dogs or short coat breeds, but if you have a large dog with a thick undercoat, DO NOT bring your dog here. If they didn't have the tools necessary, they should have let me know from the beginning. I would've rather had them deny service than deal with the repercussions of them doing the poor job they did. They even charged me the full $100 for the grooming when all they did was make my dog matted.

Each and every visit is carefully documented and they always leave cute comments about how the cats are doing and what they're up to. Upon request, the staff is even accommodating about sending pictures to keep us updated. We love receiving the pictures while we're away! We feel we've really built a trusting bond with this company, and we will continue to use their services for years to come. When you're away from home, you don't want feel stressed about whether your furry family members are okay... with PCAP, we always feel very assured that the kitties are in good hands, so we can relax and have a good time on vacation. I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I'm one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our "fur-baby", so yes, we are over protective dog-parents). All my friends who normally would have watched her- couldn't, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years- Panicking, I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-lover) We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit "report card" so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love! This is a fabulous company and they have so many options and services that really cater to your needs. I will be using them again! :D

Then the next day we noticed there was no toy, bowl or cot. I had watched over a 24 hour period and nothing changed. I emailed and asked why this happened and I never received a response. She was being fed in a regular bowl, which she will eat too fast and choke. I also noticed a pee spot on the floor and was not sure if it was due to this or not. However, Juneau is just a puppy (fully potty trained) and used to going outside every couple hours, so I don't know if that was the issue or not. I never found out what happened.
