I noticed they had some negative reviews on Yelp and that made me nervous but they were quite old and they seemed to have better reviews on Google and Facebook so I went ahead with boarding her there and everything went just fine. The employees all seemed to care a lot about the dogs and knew a lot of breed specific information, and gave her her dietary supplements and played with her. I appreciated the photos they posted to Facebook that showed her having a good time, and that the owner called me and told me how my dog was doing when I asked. The yard is double fenced to make it hard for dogs to jump the fence, and they have a double gate setup for pick up and drop off, and they give you the option of individual or group play sessions. They bathed her and trimmed her nails before I picked her up and she came home smelling good, happy, and healthy. I would definitely board her at Shores again.

Worst grooming experience I've ever had for my dog. I purchased a new customer Groupon for an…read moreupgraded bath back in August and called them right away to book the appointment. This step was easy and got a booking that same week but it was all downhill from here...I was informed that I needed to update my dogs rabies and bordatella vaccines (which didn't expire until October, the booking was for August) before I could bring her in for grooming. I'm new to this area and haven't taken my dog to a vet here yet but I found one and booked a vaccine appointment for October just to get the vaccines as informed by the employee in the phone from best friends hotel. After the vet appointment, I called the groomers back to rebook the groom appointment and I was informed that I had to get the rabies and distemper shot, not bordatella even though the first time I called they SPECIFICALLY said bordatell. So I called my vet right away and thankfully they were able to accommodate me and give me dog the distemper vaccine. I then called the groomers back and booked an appointment. Before my dog went to the grooming appointment, she smelled like dog and was shedding heavily. After the grooming, she STILL smelled like dog and was shedding like crazy. It's like they didn't even wash or groom her at all. They barely clipped her nails but didn't file them nor did they trim her paw pads like I specifically requested. On top of everything, they tried to charge us $100 for the service even after I told them about the Groupon. This place is absolutely awful in terms of customer and dog services. Literally take your dog ANYWHERE ELSE!!

We received daily reports on how the pups were doing; photos, e-cards, videos and text messages. We could not have asked for a more professional, caring or thorough person to look after our dogs. I'm fairly certain the pups are still looking for Jackie at her scheduled arrival times (even though we've been home for a little more than a day now). If you need a sitter, I can't recommend Jackie highly enough!

The low hanging one (hound) came home with a large bright red sore on his testicles. The other, (cavapoo), his testicles were black. Within a few days, the skin sloughed off to become a large "hotspot" type wound. Frostbite? Salt? ‍ No one noticed the bright red sore hanging between my dogs legs. And their demeanor was definitely NOT one of concern. Didn't even care. Adding insult to injury..... no one even apologized. Like it's an everyday thing for both your dogs to come home physically injured. Those dogs were left in their care. I may as well have left them in the back yard and tossed 4 days worth of food over the fence. Very dissatisfied And let's not forget the owner was supposed to get back with me. She did not. I had to ring her 2 days after the day I was told she would call.

We have been using their cat sitting services for about two years now, and we are so happy that we found them. PCAP is composed of a staff of friendly, real people who really love animals. Each and every visit is carefully documented and they always leave cute comments about how the cats are doing and what they're up to. Upon request, the staff is even accommodating about sending pictures to keep us updated. We love receiving the pictures while we're away! We feel we've really built a trusting bond with this company, and we will continue to use their services for years to come. When you're away from home, you don't want feel stressed about whether your furry family members are okay... with PCAP, we always feel very assured that the kitties are in good hands, so we can relax and have a good time on vacation. This company was a God-send!…read more Over the holidays, I was in need of some one to watch my Lab mix doggie for 10 days. I absolutely did NOT want to put her in a kennel. I wanted to her to be in her own environment (I'm one of those people that view their dogs as part of the family and my husband and I like to refer to her as our "fur-baby", so yes, we are over protective dog-parents). All my friends who normally would have watched her- couldn't, due to the fact it was over Christmas and New Years- Panicking, I did a quick search on Yelp and found this place. I saw they have good reviews, so I emailed the owner, Meghan Gilliatt, and she emailed me back right away (um, amazing service!) She was able to answer all my questions and concerns. We set up a free consultation with the manager, Laurie. She came over to our house and right away we knew that the people who work here, love pets! Our dog immediately loved Laurie (after all dogs know right away if some one is a doggie-lover) We set up our doggies visits while we were away. While we were gone, the employees sent me text updates with pictures every day! They also fill out a daily visit "report card" so you know everything that went on for each visit. I loved that even though we were far away, our dog was happy in her own home and getting so much love! This is a fabulous company and they have so many options and services that really cater to your needs. I will be using them again! :D

So anyway, since working with Ashleigh and Clark and the team, our dog's gone from "shoulda been a sled dog" leash-pulling to a pretty good walker. He's gone from "attack on sight" when on his leash to being a pretty cool dude when joggers or walkers pass by us in our neighborhood. And so on. Long story short, she's taking the former abused stray dog that we adopted a couple years ago, with all the problems that go along with that, and making him a better Citizen Canine.
