I take my dog here a couple days a week for daycare and have never experienced a problem. When we come in all the ladies are so excited to see her and Lucy can't wait to jump out of my arms to go play. I love that they have all sorts of activities for different days of the week that they do with the pups and occasionally for an upcharge there's some kind of souvenir to take home as well (I'm a sucker for these souvenirs lol) If I had one complaint it would just be that when they post social media pictures of their daily visits that I can see more pics of Lucy interacting with other dogs. The last few times I took her I didn't see any on their fb. The ladies here have always been so welcoming to me and Lucy she loves it there read more

I have been going to this place for a min now for my pets grooming! And Every time I go they charge me a different price stating that they did extra work on one of my pets. Every time I go they increase the prices! I took my dogs in for grooming today and when I went to pick them up the lady at the front desk was checking me out and she price me at 165 at first, shortly after the groomers comes by and she talk to her and then the lady up charge me 20 dollars saying that the groomer had to do extra work on one of my dogs! This is fucking ridiculous! I have brought in my pet and her hair was worse than that and I haven't got charged. I would definitely not go to this place again. read more

We took our rescue pup there after a couple of months getting him used to his new home. They were very friendly and excited to have a new guest. His report card gave him high marks of being a sweet boy and he enjoyed chasing his buddies around at play time. It was a great first visit! read more

We used them to board our two older chihuahua while visiting family and wedding. This is the first time we have boarded these dogs and I was a nervous wreck. Both our dogs needed to have medication given, one a shot. The one who needs a shot screams when she sees the needle. They also could not eat together. They handled both situation well. The kennel was always clean and blankets washed. I was able to visit them as much as I wanted within business hours. A first I've experienced at a kennel is that they weighed the girls every day. We had a great experience. Everyone is so nice and helpful. It's nice they have a full service veterinary clinic connected with them read more

Took my 14 year old lab there over 4th of July weekend. They were told no daycare , only short walks due to arthitis in hips. When we went to pick him up, my lab could not walk. Asked them for reports they had none. Asked staff to have Manager Tara call me and like always with any issues they refuse to cal. Staff was rough with my dog and took him to the vet which looks like we have to put him down. Don't be fooled by phony staff, their are inexperienced and have no regard for pets welfare. Stay away from this place. read more

Used to board our previous dog there, & had nothing but rave reviews, & referred others for boarding their pets. However, not anymore. The care was terrible. My dogs blanket, & toys were returned to us soaking wet with obvious urine. My dog smelled horrible & was bathed immediately upon returning home. The only reason for the 2 stars is that he was not hurt. I just think he was ignored, & left neglected for the 4 days he was there. Maybe they have staffing Issues, but I feel it's more a management issue. No one I saw seemed to be in charge. The young girls in the reception area we're eating Taco Bell & chatting it up while we waited for our dog to be brought out. Will not be going back. read more

I take my Great Dane here and she has so much fun! She comes home happy and tired! The staff there are great!

First I'll begin this with their ads at MJR are deceiving. It's a very loud and disorganized environment. Not the peaceful serenity advertised. Ask for a tour before you even bring your pet here. Now either they need a new receptionist with better organization skills, or she needs a better team under her supporting; I called twice while on vacation and after dropping my pet off just to get a total amount that will be due upon pickup. I could not get an answer both times because the front desk did not have my dogs file. I eventually received a call back 2 hours after my 2nd call with the price. During that callback, I also specified when I would be by (Date and Time) for pickup of my small dog, confirming what was already on his file. Upon arriving, no paperwork was ready and I had to wait for 3 other clients (Who arrived after I did) to reunite with their pets before my file was even pulled for processing. To finalize my first visit, they lost my dogs water dish which had his name on it and he was skin and bones (This was an 11 day stay, which we provided 1 cup of his prescription food for each day. Upon checkout, he still had 9 cups left. Either he wasn't eating and I wasn't notified of that, or he was fed nonprescription food and he couldn't process it due to his digestive issues). He slipped out of his harness because of all the weight loss. I can't in good faith bring my dog back to this place and will for the rest of my life or theirs strongly recommend against it to anyone I know. I also hope that the gentleman in front of me writes a review as well. They lost his dogs blanket and also gave his a crate with another dogs poo on the bottom of it, which got all over his car seats while he was waiting for them to find his things, which they did not at the time of his departure. read more

Animal Activity Center came highly recommended from a coworker and I'm super glad I gave them a shot with my 2 cats! I had a death in the family and needed someone to watch my 2 cats ASAP, they were able to take them in with little notice. I wasn't sure exactly how long I would be out of town either since I was driving and they were very accommodating. The staff is also extremely sweet! I would highly recommended for boarding! read more

I was billed for $90 more than my quote at check in. The check-in employee did not take into account holiday fees and did not account check-out time. Their billing system is punishing on check-out time and doesn't take check-in time into account, because of this system I was billed for 10 days when I was only away for 8. For small animals their accommodations are incredibly poor with small cages being shared with loud birds and do not warrant the daily price of $22 per day. When I protested about the 35% increase in price, I was met with a cold shoulder and pretend sympathy. read more

Please do not take your pet here. I took my Golden, who is 12 years old, there for some playtime, while I had a doctors appointment. She was there less than and hour and a half. When I went to go pick her up she was cowering in the corner with a bloody paw. I asked what the heck happened and was told one or the other dogs 'went after her' and ' it' no big deal' I said it IS a big deal when your pet is attacked, why didn't you call me?!? Response: "It just wasn't that big a deal, and we are very busy here as you can see!" I took her to the nearest vet to have her paw looked at. Well, it WAS a big deal, she received 9 stitches, antibiotics and a plastic cone for her head so she wouldn't chew it. I presented the vet bill to them and guess what? They won't reimburse us. I'm going to have to file a small claims suit to get reimbursed. NEVER NEVER EVER LEAVE YOUR PET THERE! read more

My German shepherd was going there for the last 6 months. We boarded him there for a few days last month. They were afraid of him. So we decided to give them another try today. They wouldn't feed him, nor take him to daycare. Said he was afraid and anxious. They didn't call us till 3:00 this afternoon to pick him up. Do Not take your shepherd there. Said he was giving them problems before but Never mentioned it to us nor marked it on his daily report card. Didn't bring any of this up until today. Groomer was able to walk him and a few others. Apparently they can't handle dogs wells nor inform the owners. Mrs.Metalski, Sterling Heights read more

Unlike Nicole T, we've been using boarding/activity/grooming centers for approx 25 years, and haven't found a facility which can hold a candle to this place! (Do have to admit, though, that we had to use their sister boarding facility when this place was booked, and had a positive experience.) The care provided the boarded critters is outstanding! My guys have been given options here (bottled water, raised dishes, bed options, swim time seasonally, etc) that they don't see at home! The facility is unbelievably clean and estheticaly pleasing. The things which really stand out for me is that caretakers are on site 24/7, the caretakers genuinely care for the pets, and the pets know it. Our dogs have always been happy and excited to get there. Nancy goes out of way to get pertinent info and asks those "extra" questions in order to provide for the pet's happiness. Her staff does the same. The other HUGE plus is that the veterinary clinic is just down the hallway. That means the world. We had an experience where our older dog, who was boarded at the time, was noted as just "not being himself". Long story short, I was immediately contacted, and the vets stepped in. They caught a critical situation immediately, contacted me, and advised that Luke's pain level was escalating and that he wasb't going to pull through. We chose euthanasia, and as I was out of state at the time, a vet tech who had worked with him for years, held him and comforted him on her lap. Says a lot about the employees/staff. Should also mentioned that the grooming facility is top-notch. Lisa definately grooms to fit the dog. First time in my life a dog have mine has been thrilled to see a groomer. Our dog Jasmine looks outstanding when Lisa is finished with her. The teller of the tale for me, is that my pets love going to the Animal Activity Centef, are very well cared for, and always come home in better condition then when they arrived! As if it isn 't obvious, I LOVE this place, and am so greatful for it. I heartily recommend it! read more

HI, DO NOT take your loved pet here...chose another boarding service or someone you know. Dirty and do not care much. I went away for a few days and I took my Pom to AAC to board. I purchased the boarding and the day care package where he was supposed to have is own pen and play with other dogs for 5-6 hours a day. I brought with him his food, snacks, a couple of toys and a blanket/towel that he likes. When I brought my dog in, Jack was a happy and healthy pup and the staff was given instructions to feed him twice a day with the food that I brought and give him one greeny a day pus a snack stick between meals. When I picked him up they were feeding him some other brand of food and there was no water in his cage. When he came home he went directly for his water bowl. His blanket was not with him and was found in another room and there was not water for him in his room. Jack has been home for two days now and is very sick with diarrhea and vomiting and he is not his energetic self. He has not eaten and throws up everything he drinks. I have been to the vet twice and already rang up over $200 in medication and injection bills to keep him nourished and hydrated. The vet informed me he was stressed, not eating the correct food, very dehydrated and exposed to not very sanitary conditions. The staff is not monitored very well and I am not sure they even let him out of his pen, although asked for this service. Sure they wrote up a few review showing how good he was but looking at my Jack makes me question this operation. I will never, ever, use this service again and will not recommend anyone to use it. There are no webcams to monitor like other services so that tells me they are not very transparent. When I was at the vet a lady was looking to board her dog there and I told her the story about what brought me to the vet and she is not going now. read more

I send my dogs to daycare here at least twice a week. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are great!

What a wonderful place! I take my dogs here for grooming, daycare and for boarding! The employees are always helpful and the place is amazing! Love the waterfalls! The prices are reasonable and cheaper then the other places around. Thank you! read more

Don't like this place. Some of it is good, a lot is bad. First of all, they accept almost every dog into daycare. At first that doesn't sound bad, but they accept dogs that constantly get into fights with other dogs, and do nothing about it! I have heard many many complaints from a lot of people about their grooming from when their main groomer was gone, but as far as I know they never fired the groomers with so many bad complaints. I also know they breed dogs and cats here, and i have talked to someone that used to work here a bit ago, and those animals that are bred there just live there. Their life is subjected to living in a cage practically. read more

Love this place! They love my dog and he's so happy to go there! The caregivers pay extra attention and know him by name! I love the report card that gets sent home telling me what he did all day and who he played with. Plus, the doctors are next door which puts me at ease in case he gets sick while I'm away. I recommend this place to everyone! read more

I find the Animal Activity Center to be one of the better places for day care. Our Belgium Malinois has been there many times and has always been treated well. Unlike other day care places, they actually match your pet up with other compatible dogs. read more

Took my doberman that had animal fear/aggression here for some social activities/training. Not many in the class wanted anything to do with him at first, but after a couple of classes he was doing great and everyone loved him. The staff was cautious and understanding and managed to to great things for both me and him. Definitely recommend for training/bonding between dog and owner. read more
