Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! Horrible! There is a lot he should of done and didn't, too…read morebusy puffing himself up about how great he was. Also a definite lack of listening skills. I wish I would of seen these other reviews on Yelp here before going to see him, he is the worst eye doctor I have ever seen and I have seen doctors in other countries. I guess I should of know when I saw the script that rather than use a typical optometrist pad with the dimensions he uses a real MD pad also over emphasizes he is a "DR". More puffing... I could write in every detail of exactly how he did an awful job if anyone is interested, but suffice to say he is only there now for the $$$$ so he can sink more into his boat.. NEVER AGAIN! Word to the wise, listen to other reviewers. I would of had I seen this site before!

I'd like to start off by saying I have been a patient of Dr. Clark's for almost 20 years. I always…read moreenjoyed going into his practice & the ease of getting an appointment, certainly made my life easy! I even had my husband become a patient over the past few years. We've purchased all of our glasses and my contact lenses through him and had no issues at all with his practice. Recently, I had my husband go in for an eye exam, because he wanted a pair of custom Ray Bans and I wanted to make sure his prescription was up to date. He got his prescription, but they didn't give him his pupillary distance measurement. This number is a key component to getting your prescription correct and many eye doctors now hold onto it dearly since they know customers are ordering from much less expensive websites (i.e. Warby Parker- great article from the Globe here: http://www.bostonglobe.com/magazine/2017/03/21/why-your-optometrist-doesn-want-you-know-your/k6FHsubxjTB2oYxeqBFD7L/story.html). After three calls from myself & my husband they finally gave him his measurement but he heard them say that the b*tch wife called last week and to f*** them. The receptionist gave him his number and hung up on them. We were both completely appalled by this behavior, especially since we weren't one time customers coming in off the street only to order offline. Sad to say, I will not be back to his practice & neither will my husband.

This is one of the most disparaging and pathetic experiences I have ever had at an eye exam place…read morein 15 years. I was consistently forcefully ignored, belittled and patronized about my capability to afford anything outside of what my insurance allowed. And the woman that handled my service or lack thereof refused any feedback on the type of glasses I was looking to purchase, she was outright indignant and belittling but yet when other caucasian patrons walk into your establishment they were greeted warmly and talked to respectfully. to make matters worse, the glasses that I picked out weren't even the ones I received in fact they weren't even in the same class. I expressed my budget and willingness of $575 to spend on glasses and yet they charged my insurance for those glasses and they didn't even have the decency to give me the ones that I picked out to purchase defeating the whole purpose of the $575 out of insurance budget, Hence I was more than fiscally able to purchase a pair of my choosing regardless of what insurance covered . I will never do business with this company again, but maybe that was their whole gold to discourage people with disabilities or under insured individuals from returning?? I could be completely wrong, well I'm just speculating but in any case I will not go back because i'm no longer a glutton for punishment.

The frame selection is down to the usual suspects - but I was able to find a pair that stood out a bit. They navigated my insurance well. My wife actually ended up returning her order for something completely different, and they were very helpful and made the exchange a painless affair. Recommended.

I need them desperately to see. Ordering glasses at most places would take days to come in. Teaches me a lesson not to have a back up pair around. So on a whim I found The Eye Place. First off, on Shelles The Eye Place website, I really liked what she had to say about herself, her background, and how she runs her business. As a person that has spent many years in sales, I believe in transparency and not being pushy with the customer. Shellee has those same values. Transparently speaking I just went in there to see if she had any ideas on how I could maybe fix them. She's quite lovely in person. She knows what she's talking about and treats you like your family. I felt like I had known her for years, the way that we talked. When I finally pulled out my glasses to show her what had happened, she didn't even miss a beat. She found a similar frame and popped out the lenses on my broken pair of glasses and put them in the new frames. The new frames are at a great price point. She made little adjustments on the glasses to ensure they fit my face properly. The transaction was smooth and seamless. I love my new glasses. Shellee has a wonderful selection of glasses to fit any face and designs to fit anyone's unique style. You can tell by the way Shellee interacts with you that she loves what she does and she ensures that her customers leave with a smile on their face and the perfect eyeglass frames. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful Optician that takes pride in their work and delivers high quality care.

Figuring she was busy, I started scheduling the first appointment of the day. Nope. She was still at least 30 minutes late. This was to every single appointment in 30 years. Not once on time. And late by at least 30 minutes. But the absolute worst, almost unforgivable was she completely changed my eye prescription. After an exam, she stated and wrote that my left eye somehow went to having no vision problems. I have astigmatism in that eye. There is no way that could happen. I'm 56 years old. They filled my contacts with that prescription and when I put them in, I got really sick due to having basically nothing in my left eye. I still wanted to give dr yoon benefit of the doubt, I mean she is the doctor, so I tried to walk to my car to drive. Well, I was so dizzy I fell down on the cement. At that point, I knew I couldn't drive and I looked at my contact boxes and realized she had made a mistake. I walked to Banville wearing my old glasses, and they argued with me. They told me I was wrong. They literally acted like I was crazy. They finally decided to give me my contacts in my old script and expected me to pay for them. Then I had glasses made, thinking they would use my old prescription. Nope. Again. The left eye was basically just plain glass. I decided to go to another optometrist for a new eye exam. As I suspected, Dr Yoon somehow completely messed up my exam and Banville was pushing a fake, very incorrect eye prescription. I went to get my new glasses fixed from Banville because I figured they should replace the lens for free. They replaced it, but reluctantly. This was the craziest experience I've ever had. After 30 years of waiting for Dr Yoon to show up for every appointment, now I'm literally arguing over an incorrect prescription- not even a slight error- an error that could have killed me or another person if I had driven. They never even apologized. Instead they treated me like I was crazy. One good thing- I found a new optometrist that has brand new, state of the art equipment that actually works and gives customers the correct prescription. And he was on time!!
