I will not be returning. I ordered a caesar salad with grilled shrimp and the "caesar" dressing tasted like mayonnaise on lettuce. the shrimp were undercooked so i took maybe two bites and my friends agreed that the salad was gross. i handed the salad to the waiter (who was very inattentive) and he didn't even think to ask if anything was wrong with it. i would've told him that my $14 salad was gross but he was never at the table. i'm still pissed i paid for soggy lettuce. read more

Yes I placed an order over the phone to go which was incorrect so I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to redo my order. In the mean time I kept getting harassed by someone I presume to be the manager on where I was standing to wait on my order. According to him I was in front of the hostess stand and he wanted me to go stand in the crowded bar area where no one was masked. I placed a to go order to ensure I wasn't in a crowded establishment during this time. I would have gone to my car or stood outside however it was chilly and my car was around the back of the building because of the crowd. To top it off the pizza was not as good as I remember it. The worst experience ever. My fiancée and I decided to go for dinner here for a date night. We sat at the table for 15 minutes before someone greeted us. After 20 minutes no one came back to take our order so I had to walk to the bar to order our drinks and food. Needless to say our food was not only cold, but we had to pick up our food from the bar. We love Parma Tavern and have enjoyed everything we've ever ordered here! Their daily specials are always delish. Last night we ordered eggplant chips, Caesar salad, Italian tacos, and mushroom ravioli. Tacos are only $6 for a plate of 2, and a side salad is $2.50, so it's a cheap and cheerful meal! It's been over a month since I've ordered from here. The pricing isn't necessarily high, but you will definitely get some good food. The ambience is beautiful, and calm. I enjoyed the service thoroughly. I would definitely dine-in here again, just when I get the taste for pizza, sandwiches, tacos, and pasta again. This is a world away for me but I was visiting the lake and I had a boyfriend who played a solo here over 5 years ago so I was happy to find that it still has live music on weeknights (I went Tuesday) and it is open late! (12ish on a weekday). The food was good, the service was ok, not the fault of the bartender, just she is alone behind the bar and had to tend to all the patron in the bar (approximately 10-12 patrons, plus the few sitting outside that prefer to order from her rather than a server. The live music is good and the volume still allows for conversation. The crowd is mixed with young and old, and the majority was nice people who enjoy talking to strangers! Wow. Parma Tavern is absolutely incredible! They are located right around the corner from Mall of Georgia. The parking lot can be quite busy at time because it's in plaza, so don't expect to park really close. The host seated my group right away. It's a small restaurant, but it has a very nice, romantic vibe to it. The lights are pretty dim and the atmosphere of the room is more of an upscale tavern. The waitress assigned to us was SO nice. She was helpful in telling us what options they have. They have a good variety of appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas, and some good craft beers. I checked out their menu online before I went and was pretty impressed by it. I was in the mood for a good salad. I ordered the Chicken Gorgonzola salad and I was VERY satisfied with my choice. I really enjoyed the addition of scallions to my salad. The roasted garlic vinaigrette was incredible. It was a simple salad, but the ingredients were really good together. I asked for jalapeños to be added to my salad because I am a spice lover. It was definitely a good choice. My salad was only $10 and I felt that it was a reasonable price for a restaurant with a great vibe to it. The service was really great. The waitress was very attentive and made sure that we enjoyed meal to the fullest. Overall, I'm in love with the atmosphere of this place. It's a great date night spot. Left feeling a bit confused.....I would describe this place as an Italian eatery having a midlife identity crisis: they were playing deafening loud hip hop music and waitresses dressed in German themed outfits (perhaps because we visited in October). Our server was very good and attentive. A quick news search revealed a shooting had just recently happened here within the last week or two so there was quite the security presence patting down most patrons prior to entering. We were looking for a new spot to try out, and settled on Parma based on the reviews. The food was outstanding, and the service was really good as well. My husband had the BBQ chicken pizza, and I had the Penne Bosco. We also split the crispy Brussel Sprouts, and honestly, the food really couldn't have been any better. Just FYI, the place is VERY loud. We both had to speak in raised voices to be heard at all, and there's a pretty loud bar area right in the small space. This is not necessarily a deterrent, just maybe something that is good to know. The only reason I'm not giving Parma 5 stars is because there was someone working there who was clearly sick. Coughing, discussing how they did not feel well, yet still serving food to customers. During flu season, this is not acceptable. read more
