I ended up here on a recommendation from another store in Caldwell. The two people wo greeted me two weeks ago at the front registered were very friendly and helpful and pointed me in the direction I needed to be at. This is where I first interacted with Charlie. Charlie took great care to explain my options, show me some examples, and then sent me home with material to make our decision on for new doors. The customer service I received then, and what continued through today is what other places need to learn from. My emails were quickly responded to and no question was left unanswered. Because of this, SunPro gladly received our business. I don't often get down to this part of town since I live several miles away, and yes, there are two decent "box" stores closer to my home, but I will go out of my way to shop here first to support and continue the kind of service I received. They carry what you would normally expect from a lumber and hardware store, but I'm guessing they will go out of their way to make sure whatever it is you're buying is truly what you need or offer alternatives of need be.

When asked to color match a Sherwin Williams paint color, they said "we'll give it a try" and they really came through. They had everything I needed for my project and I was out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Here's the kicker: when I was running low on paint, I called and talked to Jim. He still had the codes in the system and said the gallon would be waiting for me when I got to the store! WHAT? No "I need a credit card to pre-pay". It was down home, small town customer service you don't get from the big box stores and they really saved the day and I really appreciated that. Kuna Lumber is my new go-to whenever I need supplies.

Home Depot was useless but a customer who overheard me made some suggestions: 1) Don't buy anything from Ryobi again. 2) Take the mower to Idaho Tool &Equiptment. So, I took the mower in and was told they aren't a certified Ryobi Dealer, but they do work on the brand. The nice gentleman said they've gone through a lot of Ryobi servicing for the same issue that I had. "4-6" weeks is what he said to fix it. It took 2.5 weeks!!! The service dept left me a message that I could pick it up. NO CHARGE!!!!! It seems the warranty from the manufacturer was still valid. I had no clue. They could have charged me hundreds and I would have paid it. The people who work here are friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST!!!! They have me for life! I'll probably pay a little more for hardware, tools etc, but people who own small family businesses should be supported, ESPECIALLY when their customers are local and sick of supporting mammoth-sized monopolies who couldn't give a rats ass about customer service or satisfaction!!!
