I ended up here on a recommendation from another store in Caldwell. The two people wo greeted me two weeks ago at the front registered were very friendly and helpful and pointed me in the direction I needed to be at. This is where I first interacted with Charlie. Charlie took great care to explain my options, show me some examples, and then sent me home with material to make our decision on for new doors. The customer service I received then, and what continued through today is what other places need to learn from. My emails were quickly responded to and no question was left unanswered. Because of this, SunPro gladly received our business. I don't often get down to this part of town since I live several miles away, and yes, there are two decent "box" stores closer to my home, but I will go out of my way to shop here first to support and continue the kind of service I received. They carry what you would normally expect from a lumber and hardware store, but I'm guessing they will go out of their way to make sure whatever it is you're buying is truly what you need or offer alternatives of need be.

A broken and leaky component of my kitchen faucet on New Year's Day, which flooded out the cabinet…read morebelow it, led to a "screw it, let's just redo the kitchen" moment that stuck. So after the stores opened back up post-holiday, we found ourselves shopping not only for a new faucet, but new countertops, as well. Oh, and a new sink because the one we had was the most worthless, horribly designed piece of.....well, that's a story for a different day. After checking out a few places in town (for granite), we landed here and they had the color pattern we really liked. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating staff here. They busted a chunk of the granite we liked off so we could take it home and see what it looked like. We went with it and scheduled an install date. We also decided on paying them to do the demo as I was still irate at finding out my sink, faucet and cabinets were all installed incorrectly. Again, a story for a different day. I'm sure I would have ended up with a bunch of holes in the wall if I didn't put the hammer down. Plus, going without a kitchen sink for three weeks really sucks. The install crew consisted of three very polite and professional guys. They wisely opted to cut the sink hole on-site, as opposed to at the shop, to ensure they had the measurements correct even though their estimator (also a very nice guy) measured it when he came out about a week and a half prior. This created a ton of dust, but they did everything they could do to abate it. One of the seams blew out on install, which happens with granite if the shiny, flaky portions of the rock are on the seam edges. They did their best to repair it that day, but ended up having their master blown out seam repair guy come out the next day. He's good. You can't even tell now. We are super happy with every aspect of our countertop journey with this place. They charged per square foot, as opposed to per slab, so they were a lot cheaper even with paying for the demolition. They made sure we were happy with everything before we wrote them the final check (you pay half up front). They were also able to get our slabs cut and installed about a week sooner than the other places we went to. We'll use them for any future countertop endeavors we may have. Now I get to spackle, paint and install backsplash. Yaay.

RHG was one of the positive experiences I had and I love my countertops...until recently. I noticed a stain that had showed up after some time. I spoke with RHG and they agreed it was something that occurred in prep process. They were willing to work with me and have my countertops removed and fixed. After a lengthy repair process, they returned the countertops with the stain almost gone, however a larger stain in a different area next to a noticeable crack were now there. I asked numerous times to gain a better understanding about the crack and why no one mentioned it before they reinstalled it and why I had to bring it up to them. Overall, RHG made several attempts to help me, but we couldn't get on the same page at the end. I am super frustrated with my island countertop and left feeling uneasy about the quality and integrity of my countertops overall.

My friends, if you have a similar situation don't waste your rest on something so silly, just visit Idaho Materials and Construction! I was driving on State Street (their Eagle landscaping office) the other day and told myself to finally stop in, it never hurts to get a price. To my surprise buying boulders is affordable!!! The ladies in the office were extremely helpful and patient with my 1000 questions and then I went to choose my boulders, the gentleman was awesome. So now I have over 3000lbs of boulders being delivered ($200.00 an hour plus $50.00 for each additional 15 minutes) soon! So instead of paying the quoted prices of upwards of $3000.00 to replace my wall, I am now able to do it myself for a little over $500.00! Win me! Win me! Now I just have to roll up my sleeves and get to work after the delivery. (Delivery and pay dates were flexible which was an A++ for me!)
