Then when it shows up they load the wrong material, take over an hour to load it and they have one 65 year old man loading this $3k order!!! so they set a delivery for next day at 9:30. It's 1:30 and still no lumber!!! I call the office and they say they can't reach the drover and it's on its way!!! Two hours later still no delivery. Go to Franklin lumber!!!! Then I found out Vance didn't even bother to check and the lumber is still at the yard!!! These guys need to pull their head out of their a__!!!!

Mike was great to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I needed smaller rocks…read more(as compared to boulders) and Strickland had plenty. They also mine huge boulders for big projects. Per pound prices are good as compared with other suppliers due to Strickland not using a middle man. I've purchased here a few times and will continue to do so as the need arises. The other employees I interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Enthusiastically recommend this stone supplier.

If you're looking for landscape rock of all kinds in all sizes and shapes, there is no better…read moresupplier in the Treasure Valley than Strickland. Their yard is an ever changing bounty of beautiful rocks sourced from several western states, including my favorites moss rocks. The stellar landscape contractor (Sterling) who installed our landscape plan used this source for boulders big and less big throughout our yard, including for water feature install at the back. They also drilled out a split smaller boulder to use in the front as a "birdbath bubbler" rock. If that is what you have in mind, Strickland has boulders of all sizes that are the right shape to do this. They also have on site some real stone benches that they've assembled and can make others from stone in the yard. And they were so nice when we went back on our own to find just one more perfect smaller boulder this week that the landscape contractor graciously offered to dig in for us in a spot in our front planting berm that was calling out to me to add this very boulder-ette to it. Roll on over to check out this supplier. They rock!

The Boise location for Rocky Mountain Supply may look modest from the outside, but the store…read moreactually provides a great choice of manufactured stone, real stone veneer and pavers for building projects. GREAT PRODUCT DISPLAYS They have many of the options displayed in big format installs on walls in the showroom or on the walkways outside the building. This makes it much easier to evaluate the fit of product for your home than using a small sample board as is what is available in some other sellers. This was our fourth custom home project but the first in Idaho and in other venues we used real, full dimension stone for exteriors house trims and inside for fireplaces too.. We found in this area manufactured stone veneers were "the thing" but we wanted the look of real stone. Full dimension stone was cost prohibitive here and in doing our research, we found Rocky Mountain Supply. Through the crew there we had a chance to not only learn about real stone veneer but they also carried the one we wanted. HELPFUL STAFF Although I'm sure the staff here work mostly with the masonry and hardscape trades, the nice and expert men were ultra helpful to my husband and me when we were looking for the "just right" real stone veneers to use on our new home build and were getting zero assistance from our builder in that regard. (Here's a tip. If building in this area, we recommend avoiding Tradewinds Construction.) The staff was also able to advise us on the kinds of questions we should be asking the builder and mason for installation ins and outs using this particular 'new to us' material. FOLLOWED THROUGH If we were building again in the Treasure Valley, Rocky Mountain Supply is a supplier we would use again. They were easy for us to work with, they were easy for mason to work with and they had the product he needed available when he needed it. We recommend Rocky Mountain. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: Small private lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Although they have no marked accessible (aka ADA required) parking, there is a ramped up, paver surface to the door and the store is on one level throughout.

This place rocks! :)…read more No, seriously I can't imagine why anyone would go get bags of landscape materials from the big box stores or gardening centers when they can get these materials here at a fraction of the price and from much nicer folks who know about their products. These folks are always easy to work with, always seem to be working hard and enjoying their job. And long as they do, they will get every bit of my business. I am critical of some businesses but not this one. This is what is right with America.

Zim, Tony, Austin, Will, Mumda and Bunda worked their tails off removing a bunch of dirt to level the area and then compacted it for the pour. I highly recommend Mr. Mudd for all of your concrete needs... Mr. Mudd returned today for pouring the cement pad. Today's crew was Amir, James and Jimmy. These guys got right to work prepping the site with plastic to protect the house and fence and then proceeded with the pour. One of the guys stayed behind for almost 4 hours doing the finishing work and it looks great! It will now be so much easier to get the cans and yard equipment in and out of the yard...
