My husband send in a quote request the end of April and received timely response with a quote and when they could do the job. The price was very reasonable. A few days later Doug came bye to give a firm estimate. He did not try and upsell me on anything. We accepted the bid. Doug's brother, Levi, arrived right on time and got to work. Levi, like his brother Doug, had good energy and was upbeat. The job was complete and he walked us through an inspection. Zero concerns. Job involved not having to dig out the old posts but rather space out new galvanized posts with cedar wraps. Best darn fence company around. We had our fence warped from previous owners and needed to 1, get it repaired and 2 to convert to a 12' gate. I had asked my neighbors who to call and they gave me some numbers. I found Fence Doctor online and reached out to them and boy am I glad they did. I had very high hopes for D Fence. Called to get a quote on a small residential fencing project for my North End home. Dewey answered and came out a week later to look at the project and offer thoughts. He assured me he would be back in two days with a formal quote and write up of the project. He never showed. Despite my calling him three times and leaving messages over the next two weeks, I have yet to hear anything back from him even now - a month later. It's a busy time of year and perhaps he didn't want to do my small project. But basic communication should not be too much to ask. Disappointing. Will be going with another contractor. read more
