Very disappointed in the lack of communication between their staff. I have learned not to go after answers and get attention here, as in this area your "word is your bond." So I do not need to... What a pity. Perhaps I should not have thought I would get that follow up phone call after all, and continued to email and follow-up. Our neighbors here in Windsor Creek East in Caldwell were having their gate repaired, and we just needed a gate put in on the side, we were told by one of their lead people, Brad (not the owner) that is would be around $300 and take no time at all to take care of, and that their scheduler would be in touch to make sure they did this on the same day they put the gate in 15 inches away next door. We still felt $300 was high, as the entire fence on one side is $1,700. The owner Brad (different Brad) got back to me via email and gave me a quote for $450. Very high. Especially considering they said all that was needed was a post and hardware. Which is crazy, as the other side of the house has no post. Although it should, it is very flimsy. Lesson learned, and I think it very wise to really look at other companies, and price things out. Very unhappy. The neighbors on the other side of us said they got the entire fence they have and the gate put in for just under a $1,000. Same exact fencing, and fantastic warranty. I do not believe in giving 1 star reviews, although I likely should have. At least the young man that spoke to me today while putting in my next door neighbors gate was polite and understanding. Unlike the curt message I got back from the owner in an email. Hey Mr. Brad, perhaps in the future, a "Dear Lynette, we are sorry for the miscommunication and look forward to serving you.... " Customer service is golden. A beautiful thing. Come on guys... you are making money hand over fist with these subdivisions...step up to the plate and be kind. We are all going through hard times. I do not recommend this company. Several of our neighbors have had issues with their fencing that Element put in. I suppose it does not matter, this whole review, as Element really has a stronghold on the market with all their relationships with builders, including Hubble Homes. At the end of the day, I think this review is a "buyer beware." Do your homework. read more

The vinyl fence around our neighborhood park (water retention area) was looking worn and suffered from young people damaging it over the years. It looked out-of-alignment and needed replacing. As an HOA board, we obtained three estimates and found Element to be the best price. The workers removed the existing fencing, installed the new six-foot 3-rail, wrought iron fencing (almost 500 feet) within a week-and-a-half. Support posts have been set in concrete this time so we are certain it will maintain its appearance for many years. It is beautiful and adds to the value of our neighborhood. It took us years to get around to getting a new fence. So we did a lot of research and when it came time to actually do it, we contacted five different companies in the Boise area. Here is why we chose element: 1) easiest company to communicate with. Brady, the owner texted me himself. 2) they could get the job done within a week! EVERY other company was 4-6 weeks out. 3) price was on point I could not be happier with our new fence! They removed our old fence and installed a six foot vinyl fence in two days. I cannot say enough good things about Element Fencing. Most important: the fence they put up in our front yard is absolutely immaculate. I've never seen a team put so much thought and care into the work they do. They communicated fabulously throughout the project, worked efficiently and were done exactly on time. I had an issue obtaining a vinyl fence panel to replace a cracked panel in my 5-1/2 year old fence. The repair was too small and insignificant to justify anyone being interested in repairing it so I chose to make the repair myself. Brady went well out of his way to get me the panel at a time when local contractors are extremely busy and barely able to service all of the fencing demands they receive. That is a great testimony to Brady's commitment to top quality service to both his customers and the community in which he lives and serves. Professional and fixed our gate in a timely manner. We were very happy on the completed project. He was able to use most of the old wood and just needed to replace a couple boards. I spent a long time deciding which fencing company to go with since it's such a big expense and I obviously wanted it to look good. After much research and asking around, I decided on Element Fencing. They came highly recommended from friends, had wonderful reviews, and their pricing was fair and comparable to other companies we got quotes from. But the thing that finally sold me was their friendliness, great communication and fast response time. We were not disappointed with our choice. The fence is beautiful, better than we could have hoped. And they did a great job not disturb our flower beds and sprinkler system during installation. The crew was fast, professional and pleasant. Always keeping us informed about the process and checking in with us to answer any questions. We've gotten so many compliments from friends and neighbors since the fence went up! I am from out of state and requested Brady to install two new fences and gates on my rental property. The weather delayed the work, but it was finally completed recently. After seeing it, I must saw, he did a wonderful job! He used upgraded materials, as he said he would. The wood panels were thicker than the wood usually used and posts were solid and of a good quality. Screws secured the wood, not nails. The gates were reinforced with metal. Infact, a contractor that I had give a bid on the yard remarked at what a great job he did and took down his name. I would recommend Brady to anyone looking for a quality fence, and no I am not paid to say this nor a friend of his. read more
