What I do ask for is decency - the workers would taught and bark at my dogs which only made them louder and then would scream at them to shut up. They flicked their cigarette butts into my yard. They blocked my drive way repeatedly and had to be asked to move. They used my lawn and driveway to walk across to get to their project. The married/dating couple would just make out in front of our house. Not acceptable.

We were splitting a fence with our neighbors, we have 2 large dogs and our neighbor has 1 small dog. We had discussed this with Jeff and the amount of time we would be fenceless was brought up as a concern with the dogs. No issue it seemed, we paid half up front.Wednesday: No call no showThursday: No call no showFriday: Someone finally showed up around 1PM, they took down the fence and I think might have set posts.Saturday: NothingSunday: NothingMonday(memorial day): Nothing, because of course they take the holiday, who cares about my plans to do yard work or let my dogs outside at all.Tuesday: Someone showed up around 1-2PM did not finish the fence.Wednesday: Finally got a full crew and the fence was finished.Poor timing, poor communication, they left debris all over my yard, there were loose boards on the fence, I had a work trailer in front of my house for 6 days, I had to postpone other projects on my house, and I'm pretty sure they stole my rake(I asked them to check but was never given an answer).All considered the work is done well enough and we have a fence, but it wasn't without headache. If I had not been splitting the job with my neighbors I would have canceled when there was a nobody on site by Friday at noon. It wouldn't have been such a problem if we hadn't A) Paid half as a deposit, and B) hadn't discussed needing a yard for my dogs.
