    Onion Rings ($3.75)
    John D.

"Have you seen this shit? Hawaiian Pizza? I cannot fucking believe it. Pineapple and ham."―Anthony Bourdain Brothers Pizza is a nice little local shop that's been serving E-Town since 1980. I popped in here for a quick lunch before taking the boys down to the Turkey Hill Experience to enjoy some Ice Creams. I ordered a cheesesteak and the lady asked if I wanted marinara and grilled onions with it, I said,"yes please!" Fries sounded good, but onion rings sounded better so I got an order of them, as well. Cheesesteak w/ marinara & grilled onions ($6.30) Little too bready for my liking but overall it was tasty. The beef was chopped up a bit too fine, and could'v used another few ounces to compensate for all the carbs. The marinara was a nice touch and probably wouldn't have been as good without it. 3.5* Onion Rings ($3.75) Standard onion rings you find just about anywhere. At least they were hot and fresh out of the fryer. 3* Service & Ambiance Not much in the way of ambiance as it was a pretty standard store with a few arcade machines and décor that hasn't changed since their inception. Service was fine, but there was a bit of a kerfuffle with the folks working in the back. Sounded more like a family squabble than co-workers fighting, tho. 3* Value Good prices for the chow and they have a daily lunch special that's almost unbeatable for two big slices of pie and a small drink for $4! 4.5* Nothing memorable, but nothing bad. Solid three star joint that would def be part of my lunch rotation if I worked/lived in the area.

We ordered a cheese steak & meatball subs to be picked up. When I opened my sandwich, and saw all the meat in the very center, with just cheese folded at the ends. We will not go here again!

    Side of fries with ketchup.

This is my favorite place to get a cheese steak in Elizabethtown. All of the food is excellent and fairly priced.

A little higher priced, but you get what you pay for. Cheesesteaks, bolis, and salads are great.

About 2 hours later I got a call from a staff member who asked more ?'s, and then actually called 2 more times for further clarification. First off the restaurant is lovely! The staff is professional & extremely welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful & charming. They even have a copper pizza oven!! The Chef's wife makes a fresh sourdough bread that is delicious even without the fresh olive oil they normally they serve with it! We started with salads which were delicious & very fresh & crisp!! The chef had prepared us a special meal of fresh vegetables with a light wine sauce with spaghetti. Truly outstanding! We shared a lovely coconut sorbet that was a perfect way to end this amazing dinner! Thank you so much for making my birthday dinner extra special. Should you find yourself in the area you should definitely call for a reservation.

It was very busy and we didn't have a reservation. They made adjustments to the seating chart and had us seated in 10 minutes. As someone who is dairy free, I asked if they would be able to make accommodations and they were happy to. We started with a bread basket. The bread came out warm which was perfect on a cold evening. Not to mention the oil was fantastic. Then, I ordered a chicken Marsala which the chef made dairy free for me. It came with a soup that was to die for (can't remember which kind). The portion size of the Marsala over linguini was huge and I was able to have leftovers for the next day. The wait staff were so kind and made you feel like family. Would definitely recommend Lazzaro's.

The…read moresignage refers to essentially 3 different kinds of restaurants: a dining room, a pizzeria, and a takeout counter. We were in more of a dining room mood but we weren't asked for our opinion and were taken to a high 2-person table in what we assumed was the pizzeria. I have a temperamental back, so these chairs were not going to work for me, so we asked to be relocated to a nicer table. We were shown to another table right away. Both the dining room and pizzeria were nearly full, and hopping with energy! Our expectations were high! Any restaurant that serves Guinness beer on tap earns a bonus star from me! Unfortunately, the flavor was a little off and I get the impression that not too many customers drink the Guinness. It struck me as beer that was a little past its expiration date. Thankfully our food was very good. Everything had a distinctive and agreeable flavor. Even the bread and olive oil had us cutting extra slices. I ordered the quattro formatti pizza and added bacon. It was as unique and tasty as it sounds. If you look closely at the picture you'll see that someone took a bite before I had a chance to photograph it. But apart from that, notice all the different colors and textures, which made for a nice, lively pizza. In the other photo you can see the chicken parmigiana, which they agreed to substitute Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. That was a delicious dish as well! We ended up way too full for dessert!! It's too bad because there were lots of interesting options to choose from. If we ever find ourselves in Mount Joy again we'll surely consider coming here again. The only thing that left a bad taste was the old-tasting beer.

You would think a restaurant would bring the appetizers out first but no that's not what happened they brought the appetizers with the main meal. That was ridiculous and should never have happened. They were not busy whatsoever. Our waitress was also not very good, again no one in there at all that we saw. She seemed more annoyed with having to wait on us. Very disappointed. My sandwich was great. Calamari was just ok! Not horrible just ok. Boneless wings were not good at all, hard and lacked sauce. Cheese steak that my other half order was strange more like chopped burger than steak! Disappointing visit will be quite a while before we return!!!
