I am so fortunate to have found such a high quality stylist that is very open to hearing any and all feedback. She wants you to be satisfied 100%. She's picky so it makes me feel more comfy that I'm also picky Her hair cutting skills are off the charts. She has delivered every time I've come in. She just gets it. Hair cutting is much more precise than color, to me. She's experienced, but an eager learner who is always furthering her education. And I love Aveda! I've tried everything else and never Aveda because I assumed it was just ANOTHER line, but I am pleasantly surprised. The BEST dry shampoo brand ever! I've tried it all, literally.

Very unfortunate experience that was handled poorly. I can give some grace to the stylist because…read moreit is obvious she has lack of training and communication skills. Although the owner, Jan was very unprofessional w dealing with this. If all my money was refunded I would not be posting this... My first time here and I booked for a partial hili that is quoted starting at $95. I had existing level 9/10 blonde that I had asked for baby lights only on the top to connect midlength-ends. The stylist said no prob. ( I have had this done before so I know it is doable). I also stated I don't care about the sides or underneath, just the top. Stylist mixes bleach then takes almost an hour to foil a partial. She did side panels, and the top... because it took so long I was aware that she never refreshed her bleach which deactivates after about 30min. I also was aware that the last foil placement was the top and fringe area:/ this means my hair did not lift at the areas I specifically asked for. I waited awhile for bleach to process....then she stated that she will add a beige/ash gloss to tie the color all together. After the gloss/toner my existing blonde seemed closer to my natural color but was pretty. I couldn't really see the hilights well in the salon until I got home. They are super brassy/orange level 7/8!!! Soooo bummed. The appointment was 3! hours long and I was charged $180! When I asked what the breakdown was, the front gal stated, partial hili, gloss and blowout. What! Being charged for a blowout after a color service was boggling to me. I thought they must have this posted on there website. Nope. So I was suppose to walk out of there w wet hair and not see what my color actually looked like to save $55 for a blowout. Crazy. The owner Jan stated she oversees all Aveda salons in this territory and that is what they all do. Really? Why is this not posted somewhere? Hmm. Very disappointed w the lack of communication from the stylist who was not able to achieve what she stated. And extremely disgusted w the owner who didn't take ownership of my experience. I now have brassy/orange hilights, the worst.

My hair was probably to the lower middle of my back and down past my chest. With the cut I wanted my hair should've stopped right at the bottom of my chest. The girl cutting my hair was very nice but she cut around 5-6 inches off and now my hair is around the top of my chest and collarbone. I love my long hair and I am very sad so have short hair like this for the first time in probably 6-7 years at least. Also, this may be my problem but I do get dandruff and when the lady washed my hair she did not scrub my scalp at all, just rubbed soap on my hair then rinsed it off. So I left the salon with short blow dried hair and a layer of dandruff on my scalp after being washed. Would not recommend.

I left w platinum hair, no dimension left whatsoever and a blunt root. I also asked twice to have a dusting and she forgot. Not at all why I wanted. Very disappointed and will likely just fix myself. It's so hard to just find a good blonde expert. I thought by these reviews this would blow me out of the water. All I wanted was to brighten up my look for summer, not go platinum. Ugh
