Coconut curry mussels with garlic naan

This is my new favorite restaurant in Newport.. always has amazing live music including a 16 piece brass band that plays the last Tuesday of the month.. we had great calamari, coconut curry mussels a chicken sandwich to die for and the carrots on whipped feta with arugula and walnuts was heaven.

What an eclectic bar offering pub food which includes a range of gluten free options! Our bartender's easygoing personality immediately made us feel welcome even though we arrived close to 10 to eat food. She had us laughing and easily engaged us in conversation. This cozy bar boasts two pool tables in the back, perfect for getting your game on! Thanks for a great experience!

Stopped here after a yelp event for drinks. Our bartender was awesome so fun and made great drinks!! I'll be looking for the fountain of youth on the menu :) I didn't eat but my friend got the fish and chips which were made gluten free and she enjoyed it, they have pool tables in the back. Definitely a fun spot for a drink and some pool

My first stop during a recent visit to Newport and what an awesome warm welcome! I arrived on a Sunday and this great spot was a few steps from my Airbnb. I asked to grab a seat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of pinot grigio and their really tasty cauliflower appetizer. I was starving and and still brought home leftovers - I HIGHLY recommend giving this an order no matter what. The staff here is so welcoming and easy going, and the owner was even kind enough to give me some recommendations of other adventures to try as I bopped about town. The space itself is beautifully appointed and would be ideal for a date night or group meal of any kind. Thanks to the entire team here for an amazing Newport welcome!

I love this place! Certainly they have really incredible food, much better than most places I've been in Newport. They also have a really cool second bar and dance floor and stage area and lots of times there's really good local live music. Especially the last Tuesday of the month I believe they have like a 15-piece brass band it's incredible!

My friend and I popped in for dinner at this nice spot. She lives around the block so it offered us a nice pre and post meal stroll. It has a welcoming vibe as a local 'watering hole' with delicious food and welcoming staff. They offer daily specials and plenty of space to enjoy a bite with the family, a conversation with a friend, or a solo adventure at the bar. I want to return during colder weather to enjoy a cocktail by the fireplace, which is a little area.

Visited Parlor yesterday for dinner. We took a seat at the bar and ordered cocktails. A baseball game was on the TVs. Best cocktails I have had in a while. Unfortunately, I don't remember what mine was called. It had strawberry purée in it and was SO refreshing! My partner got a spicy mule. While writing this, I wanna go back now just to get those drinks again. I got the Vegetarian big mac - could not tell the difference between that and real beef. It had that delicious charbroil taste like the burgers I used to love from cookouts. I loved the sauce on it and the fresh pickles. I was a bit hesitant about the fries- they are thicker than I prefer and almost looked overcooked. They weren't, I really enjoyed the fries. My partner got the Gobi Manchurian- battered cauliflower in a flavorful reduction. Yummy, crispy goodness. Everything about the experience was perfect. The drinks and the food were amazing. Also, our bartender was awesome- service was great! I will def come back.

Really cool spot in a great part of town, but the food was just okay. They are doing some renovations to it, which I thought was odd during dinner hours during the week. Service was good but the food just didn't do it for me. We had the BBQ pork pizza and chicken appetizers. Chicken was delicious but the pizza was a little too sweet. Ambiance was very cool!

Vietnamese wings and pulled pork pineapple pizza

Came here on a Friday night. We had made reservations and got there at 6:30. The place was pretty quiet and we were seated in the dining area. We got a glass of wine and soda for drinks and then an order of the Vietnamese wings and the pulled pork and pineapple pizza. Service was attentive and friendly, food came out quick. Pizza was delicious - pork was flavored just right with a sweet bbq sauce and the crust thin yet chewy, pizza overall was crisp not soggy - just how I like it. Wings were very tasty and crispy with a coating similar to cornmeal it was light and the sauce a little salty. Good portion of wings for the price. Pizza size was fair too. We left full and content!

Queen Anne's was exactly that for us. We had about 75 guests, and were comfortable, but cozy. Here are some words that come to mind when I think of the space: chic, vintage, intentional, beautiful, versatile and lovely. Amanda, the owner, was great from the start. Patient, kind and helpful. Her experience was evident throughout our entire planning process. She worked with us to up to the very end, easing our little anxieties and assisting us with whatever we needed. The staff at Queen Anne's was amazing! We were so pleased with the above and beyond service. A room flip was needed after the ceremony, for the reception. It was done in a timely, efficient fashion, and for that, we (and our guests), were so grateful. Food was exactly what we expected- and delicious. We opted for food stations, rather than a formal sit-down dinner. Appetizer platters, salad, sliders and pizza. Everything was fantastic. No complaints from us or our guests. We had a blast! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more. Queen Anne's and Amanda have so much to do with our unforgettable experience! 15/10 recommend. P.S. Photos by Mat & Ash Photography (the best)

We were told to head to the Safari Room at Ocean Cliff, which was wonderfully receptive to the amount of people that showed up! The espresso Martini's were awesome! The cocktail hour then opened up and was just as delicious and beautiful. The bride and groom both had specialty drinks. The hor'dourves were delicious, and the view spectacular! Dinner was just as wonderful, although my filet mignon was a bit overcooked to my liking. However, it was very good and cut like butter. There were quite a few people at this wedding, but the dance floor was giant and nobody was dancing on top of each other! We were right in the neighborhood & hungry when a bell went off in my head - "Let's finally try The Reef". Upon approaching, the first thing I noticed was parking. Such a rarity in this neighborhood to find free parking! We made a mental note to remember this. It was a bit early for the tourist season & for dinner time, so we were seated quickly. The dining room continued to fill & liven up during our visit. A private party filled the bar area as well. What a gorgeous spot on the water! I imagine the sunset views from here are fabulous and the tent and patios on the dock must be wonderful on a nice, summer day. Our waiter ( Vincent maybe? ), promptly welcomed us & remained attentive & helpful through our visit. When asked for a recommendation, he immediately went into a thorough description of the items & helped our decision. The first thing that I noticed was that the prices on the menu were, in many cases, much different than what was shown on the website. I always peruse online menus before hand and I quickly noticed that the entrée I had been considering, the Black Cod, was a full $10 more than what showed online. It is inexcusable for a large restaurant company like Hertiage to have incorrect or outdated menu information on their property websites. We ordered that Black Cod & the Short Rib ( which is now served with mashed potato - not polenta as shown on the website ). The first thing I noticed when it quickly arrived was the portion size. A small piece of fish, maybe four or five ounces, sat atop a cup of rice and a few thin asparagus spears. It almost appeared to be an appetizer, not a main dish. The short rib was a heartier portion & certainly more fulfilling. My partner was happy with the beef, although the sauce was oddly VERY smoky, almost tasting like too much smoke flavoring had been added. If there was a deep, beefy flavor typical or a demi, it was completely overwhelmed by the smokiness. The flavor of the fish was even more disappointing. While it certanly didn't taste spoiled, it had very little flavor from the glaze & a strong fishy-ness. When I discoved that the bottom of the filet still had a silver skin layer, I removed it and the fish flavor improved but the dish remained very bland. I ate it but found it just "meh" & left still hungry, despite not having a huge appetite arriving. I think we will try it again. Perhaps for a brunch on the patio on a nice summer day. The pasta dishes I saw going by looked better and, you certainly can't beat the location.

We had reservations and waited about 15 minutes to be seated though the host was very nice. They were going to sit us on a 6 top in the middle of the restaurant but moved us to a smaller quieter table as we didn't need such a large table. We ordered shortly after being seated. I ordered the prix fixe menu with came with salad/soup, an entree and a dessert. I also ordered off the kids menu. I ordered mocktails for my kids and a cocktail for myself that came out quickly. I'm a tequila lover so I got the naked and famous which I loved. After our drinks everything went downhill. We then waited almost an hour and a half for our food. I tried to get our servers attention multiple times to ask why the wait was so long. She never bothered to check in with us to let us know we would be waiting so long. I looked over and noticed that the 6 top who sat and ordered well after us had already received their food. When I called our server over to ask if she could at least bring out the soup or kids meal so that my kids wouldn't starve. She stated that she couldn't bring anything out until the kitchen brought everything out together. She said the kitchen was backed up and kind of shrugged me off. Again, I ordered a prix fixe so why would all the courses come out together? That makes zero sense. I pointed out that the family who ordered after us had already gotten their food. She rolled her eyes and walked away. At this point we were already waiting for 1 hour at this point. Normally this behavior would have had me walking out but we were staying at the hotel, had already waited an hour and it was Valentine's Day so anywhere else would have been busy. A few minutes later she brought out some soup for my daughter, no apologies just matter of factly like she did me a favor by bringing out our soup. The table next to us asked her for some fries as they also had a child starving to them she apologized and replied not a problem I'll bring out some fries for you. When we did get our food we were disappointed with everything besides the kids pasta. The pasta was the only thing that tasted ok. The salmon was burnt and the sweet potato puree tasted old and really had no flavor. I missed the part of bacon bits in the green beans so that's on me but the bacon with the salmon did not go together at all. The chicken sandwich was dry and lacked flavor while the fries were okay. I asked for the dessert to go because I didn't want to wait for another hour. She first brought it out on a regular dish then took it to the kitchen and had it mushed in a Togo container not separating the bread from the cream. When I did finally take the dessert to my room I did not enjoy it at all either this was hard and I would not call it bread pudding. It was literally chunks of bread with cream spread on top. The hotel itself was fantastic but our experience at the restaurant was horrible. The front desk was apologetic and accommodating when we checked out however so we will definitely come back to stay at the hotel, but will most likely avoid the restaurant.

Overall good but the only complaint is you don't get much for your money but this is a hotel restaurant.
