Fortunately for me, they had one just her size. Although it was more expensive than I had originally hoped for, I knew that going to a bike shop specifically would likely amount to a more expensive purchase. I was greeted by a very nice man (can't remember his name offhand) who immediately offered me a cup of coffee which I so desperately needed at that hour. He was helpful in terms of explaining all of the features and tips for both the bike and the helmet I purchased and encouraged me to bring the bike in soon to get a free tune up. Although it wasn't a long encounter, I was really pleased with the experience. He was so nice, engaging and personable and knew his stuff. Highly recommend Beverly Bikes.

I called and gave my problem and Hunter advised to bring it in to see what the issue was. He got right on it and diagnosed the problem. He couldn't solve my issue as it needs a new battery and he had none in stock. I thanked him and asked what I owed him and he said nothing because I couldn't help you get back on your bike. They are currently booked for 3 weeks! Clearly Marblehead/Salem Cycle are experts and well-loved by their clientele. They put me on a great new e-bike with little fuss and very reasonable timeframe. Meanwhile both of these guys were clearly in the middle of assembling/ servicing bikes but didn't seem to mind taking a minute to help me find what I was looking for. This was huge for me as i've been to other shops in the past and have had the opposite experience. One time the staff of another local shop couldn't be bothered to look up from whatever they were doing to assist me when I was literally there to buy a bike... a nice top of the line gravel bike I wanted for a long time..that experience left me so jaded I took my business elsewhere. Long story long that was not the case with these dudes, and after helping me find the helmet and peddles I needed I learned a bunch about the owner Jake and head mechanic Ed. Both of them local to the area - their stoke and knowledge of the neighboring trail systems was wonderful and they even hooked me up w/ a shop water bottle - I've got a zillion bottles but who doesn't love free swag?? Safe to say I left shop more stoked on riding than when I walked in and fully intend to shop here again in the future. Lastly, the aesthetics were modern and major bonus points for the sick grunge station they had on!

What a fantastic way to see the Rockport area, explore the shoreline and hear some area history. We were able to dock on Straitsmouth island and climb up the lighthouse which was a welcome surprise for our family. I highly recommend the tour. You must be comfortable in water, but kayaking is fairly easy to pickup. My 14 year olds who have very little experience had a blast with no issues navigating the water. We never felt worried about our safety as Dan was vigilant with our group's well being.

We ordered a bike online for my son and it came mostly put together but it needed some work beyond…read morewhat I could finish. The training wheels we ordered didn't quite fit the bike. They managed to get them on by bending them into place. They charged $30 total and spent at least 45 minutes solid working on the bike. They were as perplexed as I was by the fact that this bike had just one brake on the handlebars to control both the front and back. After I was home, I read all over the documentation, "the front wheel appears as if the brake doesn't lock, that's just how this bike is designed." :P They basically dropped everything they were working on just to help us out. I wouldn't buy accessories here, but this is a decent bike shop for repairs!

Took a couple of hours, and it was worth every minute as well as worth every penny. I now no longer have my hands go numb when I ride. My hips are less sore, even after a century ride. AND I picked up 5 watts on my FTP.
