Said "in stock" and available for pick up in Danvers Tuesday morning or seabrook Wednesday morning. (Danvers was closed Monday). I chose to pick up in seabrook Wednesday since we are in NH and couldn't get down to Danvers Tuesday anyway. My confirmation email said "ships from western cycle" to seabrook location. My receipt was from the Danvers location. I got a call Tuesday at 5:30pm from seabrook saying that they didn't have the bike I ordered in stock at either location. I explained what my confirmation email said and the very sympathetic employee from seabrook said he would call Danvers so see if they had put the bike aside without his knowledge. Danvers was already closed for the day so he offered to call and get back to me in the morning. 10:15 Wednesday I get a call from the owner, with a big attitude, telling me that they don't have the bike. Zero sympathy or compassion for me, the customer. He claims it was in seabrook and must have sold right before I ordered but doesn't know when. I was obviously upset, having ordered Monday and only finding out two days later that they sold me a bike they didn't have. The owner acted annoyed that he even had to call me and said "I don't know what to tell ya". He offered to cancel the order or order the bike (which would come in 7-10 business days), but we are leaving on vacation and needed a bike sooner. He said "sorry" like he was forced to, and was just overall not nice to me. I would recommend Buchika or Philbrick's for your bike needs. Philbricks went above and beyond and legit built a bike for us same day (normally a 2-4 day turn around) so we'd have it for vacation.

I was told to come back tomorrow. I tried calling the next day, but nobody answered the phone so I showed up they didn't remember me. I told him I had purchased a scooter yesterday with my coworker, and then they went to look for it and they said it still wasn't ready and they needed to charge it . I came back the following day called again. No answer showed up didn't know who I was again reminded him an went to get my scooter ready for me to take one problem, though there was no charger with the brand new scooter. He could not find it. So he gave me a charger from behind the counter fast forward to today, May 5, 2026. I tried calling again no answer so I drove in. Doors were locked. Lights are on went to the front and back entrance. No sign of anyone one last check I see the guy who sold me the scooter in the window. I motion to him to come over. He comes over. he lets me in. I tell him about my scooter, he tells me to bring it in. I told him the back brake is no longer working, and my rear tire was making a grinding noise. He told me I could leave it to fill out my information before leaving. I asked him when he thought somebody would be able to take a look at it and he told me about a month. He stated the technician wasn't in today and that they had a backlog of scooters that needed to be repaired, which he pointed to in the corner and then told me there was multiple down in the basement of the same model. I told him that wasn't an option for me to wait over a month and that the scooter is still under warranty for another five months he tried to refer me to a scooter shop in Cambridge, which I live nowhere near and not paying for something that was under warranty. I then asked him what to do and he told me to call Segway the scooter company. And then again referred me to the scooter shop in Cambridge, which I had to reiterate that was not an option and I am not paying for something that is still under warranty. I asked him for Segway's number which he told me he did not have and to "Google it". My only dealings with this place twice have not been good and not the best customer service to say the least. Scooters were $1100 with tax and are under warranty for another five months and they are telling me I have to wait over a month to even get it looked at. Unacceptable!

I'd recommend a longer ride so you'd have more time in Wolfeboro for lunch, ice cream or exploring the shops. The trail is well maintained and an easy ride. The Aventon bikes were in excellent condition and we had the chance to try a couple of different models. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend E-bike Expeditions and look forward to renting from them again.

I had offered to help him undo the strap, and he decided to look at me and go "What" with a rude demeanor. He then punched a hole into the strap, not listening to where I wanted. When he handed it back to me to try it on for sizing. I realized that it wouldn't slide anymore because he ripped the inside of the strap. I handed it back to him so he could fix it and instead he decided to cut it more and add another hole. The right shoe now has more holes than the left. When me and my mom were talking he kept saying that the right shoe would need another hole and decided to just punch it in without my knowledge. I didn't think he would do something without my okay, but that was furthest from the truth. He not only didn't apologize for the damages he caused. The whole time that I was in there he seemed very inconvenienced and it felt very rushed. I could tell he just wanted to do it as fast as possible so we would leave him alone. He could have told us that he didn't have time and to either make an appointment or come back later. I am happy I wasn't charged, but he caused damages that I will never be able to fix without having to redo the whole strap. I wouldn't be able to buy this shoe again because they no longer make them. Although the damage may be small to the inside it was more the fact he wasn't kind from the beginning and I never got an apology from his mistakes. I understand that he has done this for a long time and knows what he is talking about however he took what I said and completely disregarded it and chose to do whatever he wanted.

They managed to get them on by bending them into place. They charged $30 total and spent at least 45 minutes solid working on the bike. They were as perplexed as I was by the fact that this bike had just one brake on the handlebars to control both the front and back. After I was home, I read all over the documentation, "the front wheel appears as if the brake doesn't lock, that's just how this bike is designed." :P They basically dropped everything they were working on just to help us out. I wouldn't buy accessories here, but this is a decent bike shop for repairs!

The dude there got it off for me but stripped the shit out of the crank shaft arm. So my pedal fell off after considerable work trying to get them to hold. I need to buy a bike. I go in and get a used one. The tires where flat. So I asked him to put air in the tires. He brings out a pump and leaves it on the floor. This is not a place you go to for service. The selection is lousy and expensive. I think they run a 'bring your bike spin' class which might be there priority. Not sure. I am sure if the work they did for me. I would call them lazy mechanics. He didn't want to take the time to do it right. I should have done it myself and invested in the tap. Live and learn.

On my way down the stairs, I passed the manager who was extremely polite in telling us he was happy to have us and to have a great night. Very cool considering I spent 30 mins there and was planning on not buying anything, yet. Turns out, the store manager (Dan) is extremely knowledgable beyond my means and has ridden or used almost everything he sells, fact. Long story short, he spends over 2 hours with me and I leave with a completely new setup... Never Summer board (he ordered the right length for me), Rome bindings, a 686 water resistant jacket, INI water resistant boarding pants, and a neck warmer. I spent so much money (by choice, he was not pushy at all), dude hooks me up with a few extras, puts my set up together to my liking, tunes it, and waxes it at no additional charge. This place rocks. It is NOT a discount snow gear store. You pay for what you get, including the service. They carry the brands that actually care about the riders and they personally ride their own gear too prove it. Shop anywhere you want, but make SURE you stop at NOTB in Salem, NH or Burlington, MA before you buy ANYTHING. Seriously.

Plus they sell some lesser known and smaller bike brands (along with well known ones) that is a nice change of pace from the big brands often seen at other shops.
