An amazing little mom and pop place that will always have my patronage when I want my high tech needs met! They placed my BlackVue DR 900 X 2ch within an hour and 20 minutes! You can tell that these technicians have a passion for what they do, and clearly have the mindset and intelligence to do what they need to do in order to get the job DONE!It's not every day that you run into a BlackVue dashcam/security system in this country, but these guys knew exactly what it was, and what it is capable of! I'll start by saying that this is my first review ever. This is was the fourth upgrade I've done at this facility and they NEVER Disappoint. Tim was my salesperson; he was knowledgeable, attentive, provided a thorough evaluation of my needs; suggested 3 options and allowed me to make an informed decision. The installation was perfect as I have experienced in the past. I'm more than slightly fanatical about the condition of my car and aside from a sparkling new head unit I would never have been able to tell work had been done. If could give 10 stars I would. If you're looking for knowledgeable staff and exemplary work I recommend them without reservation. Thanks evening as I was becoming acquainted with my new technology I accidentally erased the tune that the installation tech had done for me. I contacted Tim to he following morning and he went above and beyond by suggesting I come back so he could assist and educate me about how the features worked and how to operate them. I came here to have a Pioneer app radio with back-up cam, as well as the Viper Smart start with alarm installed. I called them at 12:00 on a Saturday and was told to take it right down and it would be done before the end of the day! They did outstanding work and installed everything perfectly the price is extremely reasonable especially with a generous veterans discount they gave me!! I can really tell that these guys "get it" and not only do great work but treat there customers right as well. Let me make this very clear. I don't post reviews ever. These guys are awesome. I had recently moved to the area and didn't know where to go to get some work done on my car. I had bought all the equipment I needed for a complete sound system replacement and I just needed someone to install it. I searched Yelp! and e-mailed six shops. My e-mail was five paragraphs of exactly what I wanted to have done, what equipment I had, and I requested a detailed quote. I know my stuff. Two didn't reply. Out of the four who did, three of them wrote back "well you'll have to come see us", "we need to see your car and we can discuss options", and "when can you get down here so we can go over your options?" Parkway was the only response that e-mailed me back with a detailed install quote PDF, down to the exact dollar, based on my request. Mark even wrote me back and described what they would do, what else I needed (he was correct), and how the install would take place. I was impressed. Turned my car over to them and when I picked it up, everything was perfect. The workmanship rocked. Clean, neat, and everything I had asked for. He even did two things I asked about (mount my phone clip) for no charge just because they were tearing out my interior anyway. I walked out 100% satisfied and he charged me exactly what he quoted, even though it took longer than expected. I'd rather it take a day longer for a perfect install than having them rush it -- to their credit, it was over Turkey Day weekend so they were very busy. These guys are amazeballs. Seriously. I have an open, accessible to the idiots of Boston and the elements Jeep - and just wanted something loud enough to hear over the big ass tires. This is my third place I've been to trying to make this work. Worst Buy sold me crap that blew out within a few months, some other place tried to get me to spend over $1K for something that likely would have been stolen within days, and these guys...they were awesome. Reasonable prices, realistic ideas of what I should/could do in my vehicle, and now I finally have sound! Loud, crisp, driving 85 with no doors on and I can hear it over my tires sound! I love them so much I went in my my (new to me) retro Benz, and they also hooked me up. They were able to upgrade my stereo *that* *day* and made it work with the current, crazy wired Bose speakers in there instead of trying to sell me extra crap I didn't need to make my little car thump down the road. Very unprofessional! They took zero responsibility for damaging the air conditioning controls in my Honda Accord even though Honda checked the car and proved that the damage was caused when they installed the radio.After showing them in writing what Honda has said not only they refused to fix the damage they caused and told me to leave but when I insisted in speaking with the owner he called Everett Police saying that I was disturbing other customers. Now the only way for me to get my car fixed is to take them to court.Do yourself a favor and find real professionals to work on your car and totally avoid the headache of dealing with Parkway Sound read more

I had a Pioneer after market installed. I wanted satellite and blue tooth. These guys knew just what to do and what product worked in my 2012 Ford pickup. The installation was timely and neat. After a couple of days the satellite didn't seem to receive as well as it should so they moved the antenna no questions asked. The only blip was the owner's manual was missing and they couldn't locate it. I found it on line so it was no big deal. read more

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I had 2 positive experiences with them. First, last year they installed a remote starter for me that could be started from my phone and they were the only place that was doing this kind of starter that I could find. It was amazing they were able to do this for me. Second, my 2016 Subaru Crosstrek hadn't been starting and had to be jumped constantly. I brought my car to my mechanic and he tested the battery and said it was fine but my car kept not being able to start. I asked several other people, no one could figure out what the problem was. Finally I thought maybe it was the remote starter so I brought it to Parkway. After looking at my car for free, they explained that my battery was good but had only 390 cold cranking amps as opposed to 550 which would be needed to start my car. My battery was good but just not strong enough!! The guy at Parkway explained that this is an issue with all Subaru's 2015 and after. Since my car was still under warranty I went to the dealership and explained that I needed a battery with 550 cold cranking amps and not another weak 390 according to my instructions from Parkway which I ended up getting for free!! My car is now starting without any problems!! Dear Parkway Auto, I can't thank you enough for helping me fix my car and restoring my sanity!!! read more

Horrible customer service, sub par work. I was quoted 3 different prices and nickled and dimed for everything. Installed satellite antenna under the dash and reception was horrible, asked him to fix it and move antenna outside vehicle where it is supposed to go and he wanted to charge me another $75 on top of $175 installation I just paid. Radio harness wires were rattling in dash, wanted windows tinted and he told me they had to move over to another garage because every time they tint in the radio shop it comes out horrible because of the dust and insulation in ceiling, well my truck wouldn't fit in tint bay so all of a sudden he says it would be fine to do tint in radio bay, No Thnks I said. These guys took the time to back out the changes that was done wrong but offered to fix the peices that broke from the bad install. In the end the installion was amazing and what they charged was way less than what I had expected to pay. I have a second car that I am bringing to them to install a radio in as well. As surprising as this sounds, I simply called this location telling them about the problems I've been having with my previously owned radio units, and asking about their radio selection, quickly, a man on the phone didn't want to help at all and told me to go elsewhere because he doesn't want any of the same issues with me. He actually didn't have a reason as to why for me, just that he didn't want any issues... yep, there was zero inclination to help me out at all. I have had several remote car starters and car alarms installed throughout the years in my entire family's cars at Parkway Sound and Security. Each and every time I was greeted by very personable and knowledgeable people. They always took the time to explain things in detail and answer my numerous questions. I had a minor problem one time with my newer vehicle that I had just purchased a few months before I had the remote starter/car alarm system installed. Right away they told me to come right there and they would check it out admitting that it quite possibly could have been something they did or did not do. They put it on a diagnostic machine to try to determine if it may have been something they should have done but didn't. It turned out that it was NOT them but an actual problem with my vehicle that needed to be replaced and was covered under the warranty. The fact that they did not get defensive and was willing to go the extra for me I feel is quite impressive. I would rate my experience with this company with 5 stars and would certainly refer my family, friends and acquaintances. read more

A friend of mine had some work done there and said they were great so i gave it a shot...worse thing i ever did in my life was listening to him....they broke my dash glued it and tried to cover it up then denied they did it..i spent over $1500.00 to get lied to and my car broken... lights on the dash came on (airbag,check engine).two of the installers (if thats what you wanna call them)told me two different stories as to what happened one of which could'nt speak english hardley then as all this was going on another customer was in the middle of getting his story as to why his air bag light was flickering(dealer told him they spliced into airbag module under seat and fried it). Then come to find out my $1500.00 radio with navi had some kind of cheap china aftermarket nav antenna which they glued to my dash as well.i was told(by an employee) the owner puts all the good stuff on ebay and sells the cheap stuff to his customers.I would'nt suggest having any work done there. read more
