I have a very cheap car. I went in to this shop based on the positive yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I got an inexpensive JVC single DIN unit and with an adapter kit they installed it in my double DIN dashboard. They even installed a very stock looking cubby underneath it. Brilliant, this car has nowhere to put stuff. Unfortunately because of the angle of my dashboard I couldn't read the display on the radio. I called them the next day and asked them if there was some kind of sunshade I could put over the radio because I thought the display was just being washed out by the sun. They called me back quickly and told me to come back and they put a different Alpine unit in it with a different kind of display. No hassle, no extra charge, another every clean install without a single bullet connector or pice of cut wire on the floor. These guys also dba as Sound Sensations. I've gotten car starters elsewhere, in fact this was my fourth one. The previous shop I was going to, a pretty big name, was a little unfriendly especially considering I was pretty much a regular customer and I wasn't buying a cheap system. I decided to YELP Cart Starters and it recommended Mobile Car Pro in Shrewsbury, I emailed Scott and the very next morning he called me to ask a few follow up questions and a short while later we booked an appointment for me to bring in my summer beater Miata the very next day. I arrived at 8:30-- the shop is in the back of the complex it's located in along with a Baseball camp and a dance studio- but it's clearly marked with signage so you can find where to go. I pulled in and they took my car right away. Service was very reasonable and I was on my way about two hours later. Great guy-- really happy with the result, he went above and beyond and took the time to explain how this new key fob works. Some things to know; the shop is located about 1/2 mile from anything useful, like coffee or breakfast. There is a Honey Dew up the road but you're taking your life in your hands if you try to walk Route 20 for that distance so go before. The waiting room is very sparse, there are a few interesting things to look at, and they have free Wi Fi that works great but unlike the other shop I used to go to there is not a lot there to entertain me while I wait. So keep that in mind, bring things to stay busy. A+ service, and the starter works great. read more

I wanted a new remote car starter that could be controlled by my smart phone. I had read about them, but didn't know where I could get one installed. I Googled who installed those near me and two places came up. I called the first place that came up and talked to them briefly about the car starter, how the iPhone app works, and how much it was installed. They were reasonably nice, so I just made an appointment with them. After I made the appointment, which wasn't for a few days, I did some research (probably should have done this before I made an appointment) on the two places that came up on my original search and the place I made my appointment with didn't do very well at all with customer reviews and Mobil Car Pro in Marlborough did awesome. So I called Mobile Car Pro, talked to their scheduling person, asked him the same questions, and made an appointment based on the fact that they had the same Smart Start remote starter and it was the exact same price, installation and all. I'm so glad I went with Mobile Car Pro. The place was great. They let me drop my car off the night before and they had a key drop. So I called them on my lunch just to check the status and he told me he needed about another hour or so. I told him not to worry because if it wasn't done then, I had to wait until after I got out of work. But he still called me an hour later just to confirm it was all set. He told me he was going to send me an email with the instructions on how to register the system with the remote start company (Directed) and how to set up the iPhone app and subscribe to the service since the Smart Start is a GPS remote starter service. So I had everything set up before I went to get the car. The guy I had been talking to, Keith, was there when I came to pick it up, he showed me how to use the system and made sure it was linked up to the Directed service and that I was all set. He was incredibly kind and helpful and I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the installation. Basically, this was a top of the line (Directed) remote car starter put in by top of the line installation company. Keith told me that Mobile Car Pro just recently opened up to doing professional work for the general public. Prior, they only did work for dealers who wanted their brand new cars to have remote starters, leather, or other upgraded systems. I'm so happy they opened their business to the general public because I got the best service I could have asked for. Just one last quick note...I didn't like one of the functions of the remote car start, so I called Keith the next day, he told me to swing on by the shop when I could and that he would disable the feature I didn't like. He did that for me for free and also, based on me asking him if it was doable, hard wired a radar detector into my car all in about 30 minutes. I couldn't possibly recommend this place more. When you're getting work done on your beloved car, you have to make sure you can fully trust the place and person you're leaving it to. The next time I need any custom work done on my car, it's going back to Keith and Mobile Car Pro. read more

These guys installed 2 heated seats in a 2013 Honda CR-V. The price was comparable to other installation shops, however, they came with a lifetime warranty which nobody else would match. The folks there were friendly and easy to deal with. The job got done within the day. I was even able to get a ride back to work from one of the guys in the shop. From the first email I sent to begin researching getting a sun/moonroof installed in my FJ Cruiser to the time I picked her up just yesterday, the service was stellar! I sent a large number emails to ask questions and get details before I finally decided to schedule the job. Each email was answered lightening fast and covered every question I had. When I dropped my vehicle off, the guys at the shop were super friendly, very knowledgeable, and when I confessed to being a little nervous about having a hole cut in my roof, they took me through the process without making me feel foolish. My car looks like the sun/moonroof came factory installed - it looks fantastic! Also, my car was left in the same shape in which she was dropped off - no garbage or scraps were left behind.
