Wanted a replacement canopy for our three seat deck swing. The factory one was shot at just two years which is not good since it is taken down in the winter and stored till spring. Wanted a material thicker and more rain repellent, so the top was made out of Sunbrella material normally used on boat tops. Left the original top to be used as the pattern. Finished item has a perfect fit in the frame, coloring is a great match, and was made at a reasonable cost. Will be using this company for any future needs. Nice people. read more

I was very disappointed with my dealings with this business and will not return to do business with them. After reflecting on the high cost of the job to reupholster my free-standing bench, I called within two hours of leaving the shop to cancel the order. The next day I called to confirm that the order was cancelled and was told that there would be a restocking fee. When I returned on day two to pick up the frame and parts for my bench, I was told that my deposit minus the restocking fee would be returned to my credit card. Two voice mails have gone unanswered. I did have a conversation with one of the owners who stated he was aware of my concern and that I would get a call back within the day but too did not happen. A month later and the funds have not been returned to my credit card. I feel cheated. read more

We had some tears in the vinyl on our engine cover/swim pad. AK was amazing! They worked with us to come up with a solution to best fit our needs. They listened to us and worked with us, really listening to what it was we wanted - and we had plenty of opinions. They helped keep our current embossed vinyl and come up with the best color match. We thought long and hard about replacing our 15 year old Crownline 18.5 ft bow rider as it had really taken a beating cosmetically over the years. Ultimately we decided to "clean it up" by having the exterior professionally cleaned and all the interior (upholstery and rugs) replaced. We went to Katia and Alex at AK Upholstery to get the job done and we could not be more pleased. Our boat literally looks brand new and we saved so much compared to the excessive costs of boat replacement. The detail and craftsmanship is amazing! Alexandre and Katia are fantastic to work with. I needed a large window seat cushion. They wanted to me to get exactly what I had in mind so they spent a lot of time giving me different options to think about. Katia went over different materials and the pros and cons of each. Alexandre provided different finishing options . The work is exceptional. The most unbelievable thing of all is I had hoped to have the cushion by Thanksgiving but could not get there to pick it up the Wed before.
