My husband needed his suit altered so we stopped in one afternoon. The owner greeted us warmly and after examining the garment, she said she could have it ready the following Friday. I was pleasantly surprised she could do the work so quickly. Amy is honest and will tell you what she can and cannot do. She did a beautiful job on my husband's suit. The total she charged was reasonable as well. We are appreciative of her kind, friendly and helpful demeanor and I know I will be dropping off any dry cleaning to her in the future. I noticed she advertises organic dry cleaning. I'm not sure what exactly that means but I like that they are committed to organic cleaning practices since dry cleaning can use some harsh chemicals. We'd gotten some coat hangers from that location about four years prior to the review. I went in, asked the man behind the counter and he very kindly gave me two handfuls. White hangers that we still use. We had a good impression that we could act on later but unfortunately we never saw that man again. 2. My senior father needed some items dry cleaned so we went to Arroyo - based on #1, the hanger experience. I always felt my father was taken advantage of due to his age. Now years later I need a dry cleaner. Other businesses in town have dozens of good reviews. Not this place, they only have four and the majority are just like mine. Their alterations are excellent and reasonably priced. I used to own a high-end womenswear company, so I know good tailoring when I see it. They've altered suits, coats, dresses, and pants--even worked on leather--and their craftsmanship has been flawless every single time. Some of these pieces were very expensive, and they handled them with care and expertise. They'll even will take up a sleeve at the shoulder instead of the sloppy way most alterations people do which is just cut it off and sew buttons back on. I can't recommend Redwood Cleaners highly enough.
