I use these guys all the time. The clothes are always perfect and the service is spot on.

The owners are very pleasant and easy to talk to, but unfortunately, I would not recommend LMM for cleaning delicate items. I took my Ethan Allen curtains to them for cleaning. I was warned that if the curtains had been exposed to sunlight for a long period of time, there was a possibility that the fabric could deteriorate or fall apart. I understood and accepted that risk. However, I got a big surprise when I hung the curtains back up. They had shrunk by approximately 3 to 4 inches. I still have a sample of the fabric with the original Ethan Allen care instructions, which stated that the curtains should not be exposed to water. Had the curtains been properly dry-cleaned and not exposed to water at any point during the cleaning process, they should not have shrunk. For that reason, I would not recommend LMM for delicate curtains or other specialty fabrics. read more

I can't say enough good things about L&M Cleaners. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The owners, Suri and Hector, are genuinely kind, professional, and clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. They're both bilingual, which makes communication easy and welcoming for everyone. Their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell they truly understand garment care -- from professional dry cleaning to delicate items that need extra attention. I've trusted them with everything from everyday clothes to special pieces, and the results are always excellent. They offer washing and ironing, alterations and repairs, wash & fold, and even same-day service, which is such a lifesaver. Prices are fair, service is fast, and the quality never feels rushed. They also provide free pick-up and delivery, which is super convenient for busy schedules. The shop hours are very reasonable, making it easy to stop by during the week or on Saturday. It's rare to find a cleaners where the owners are this hands-on and the entire team is this reliable. If you're looking for a local cleaners you can truly trust, L&M Cleaners is it. Professional, affordable, friendly, and consistent -- I wouldn't go anywhere else. Highly recommend supporting this amazing local business! No tengo más que cosas buenas que decir sobre L&M Cleaners. I started going to L&M because most of the dry cleaners in San Rafael don't get very good reviews. I now drive all the way to L&M from San Anselmo, because they are so amazing! All of my items have been perfectly cleaned and the staff are so kind and sweet. I feel that they are reasonably priced and provide excellent cleaning services. There has never been an instance where I was disappointed their services. read more

Just found this gem in Novato. I had two white blazer jackets I had machine washed (don't judge) and thought they were ruined plus they were badly stained.. not only were they able to take the stains off but they look brand new! Siri and Hector do a great job and aim to please! I'll definitely be back. read more

I have used the new owners of L&M for the last 15 years as they have worked for a couple of excellent dry cleaners, but the main reason I've stayed with Hector and Suri is their unbelievable customer service. Both are kind, thoughtful, appreciative, and efficient in their work. I'm so pleased that they will now be able to transfer their skills to the whole business. I highly recommend that you take your cleaning and other services to L&M for wonderful customer service. read more

Great new service pickup/delivery dry-cleaning from the new management. I've been a customer of L&M for a few years now and will continue for many years to come. always satisfied with their service, and turn around time for my clothes, they are always super friendly and helpful whenever I have to get my clothes tailored. read more

Love my neighborhood dry cleaner!! My clothes are always ready on time and they don't stink like chemicals. The prices are competitive with other cleaners in the neighborhood. These people really care though! If you happen to have a lot of clothes, they offer to help you bring them to your car. A very nice touch but I always refuse as I can carry my clothes. They also do alterations at a reasonable price. My boyfriend had pants shortened there and the price was right! And again, the pants were ready on time. It's a shame this cleaners is stuck in a dumpy shopping center and I wish the owners of this center would get their act together and clean it up!! However, that doesn't take away from the fact that this is an awesome dry cleaners. Kudos to the staff!! read more

L & M Cleaners - My favorite dry cleaners. Nice people and good prices! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Novato, California

L&M have been consistently kind and friendly. Quick turn around on dry cleaning and hemming clothes. Exceptional tailoring. Always happy to see the husband and wife team when dropping off/picking up. read more

A cleaner close to home? In the boondocks of NW Novato?? I happened upon this location when I had to park in the furthest part of the parking lot to go to CVS. And as luck would have it, I had my linen jacket which was in need of cleaning, with me. Nice, friendly man at the counter, uneventful transaction. I think the price was about $13 and it was done quickly and thoroughly. It's so nice to have a cleaner near home! I recommend! read more

I have taken several things to get repaired. I have had them fix a shirt, hem two sets of curtains and sew a patch on my carry on bag. They are always friendly and do a great job. read more

S & H took over L & M cleaners! Have been a devoted S & H customer for years, and they have always provided fast and efficient pickup services, using organic dry cleaning solutions. And now they have a home base, with same great prices and exceptional service. read more

I've been a customer of L&M Cleaners for over 20 years and they always do an amazing job with my clothing. The new owners, Hector and Suri, are wonderful people who also have a dry cleaning pickup/delivery service, S&H Cleaning Services. If you are looking for a great dry cleaner, go to L&M Cleaners which is located in The Square Shopping Center in Novato. You'll be so glad you did and maybe you'll become a customer for life, like me. read more

I took an item of clothing to be altered here. They ruined the piece of clothing and it could not be fixed by a different seamstress. They gave me a hard time when I refused to pay for the botched job. No customer service at all. I would not trust them with dry cleaning after this experience. read more

This place earns 5 stars in old school customer service-- The owner greets me with a smile, remembers my name even though I only stop by once a month, helps me out to the car when my hands are full, and the prices are very reasonable. Oh, and my clothes are returned cleaned and pressed with no issues. What more could I ask for? read more

I had never used this cleaner previously but the people who owned S&H cleaners are the new owners of L&M cleaners and let me tell you, they are fantastic. I have been using S&H cleaners for years. Not only are they genuinely kind and hard-working people but they are fair and do an excellent job. They pick up and deliver and all around just know how to run a successful business. I am a sucker for a small business and these guys are one of the best in Novato. I drive from Mill Valley to go here. If you care about supporting good people and want your clothes to be cleaned with care then this is the cleaners for you. Give them a call today! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. It was mentioned before about damaged products.... I had brought in a shirt I had worn TWICE that was quite expensive that they completely ruined. When I picked it up it looked like my shirt had some kind of chemical burn because the fabric was shear it some spots and there were holes in other spots. They refused to pay for it saying that they followed the instructions on the tag and that I should take it back to the store I had purchased it from. I had another dress in the same order, I didn't realize till about a month after I picked up my order, that had also been ruined. There was silk ribbon on it and when I went to wear it there were pulls in the ribbon and it looked awful. I didn't even waste my time trying to have them rectify the situation because I knew there was nothing they would do to help me. They obviously do not knw what they are doing and do not care for their clients products as a dry cleaner should. read more

They did fabulous repair work on one of my winter coats! The price was great and the repair work sturdier than than the original.

Love this place! The shopping plaza is a bit run down but this shop is a gem. Great prices- brought in a 3 price suit, a bunch of shirts, jackets & ties and was almost $25 less than the last place I used. The customer service is awesome- the lady was very kind on my first visit and when I returned a man was totally gentlemanly and carried the clothes to my car. Highly recommend! read more

I have been coming here for at least 5 years. After my first visit they had already memorized my name. Try finding a place like that in the city. I have never had a problem with my clothes here. The work they do is excellent and consistent. They have accommodated me on numerous occasion when I needed my uniform dry cleaned in a hurry. Love my hometown cleaners. read more

Never go here! My wife took in a pair of $185 Nordstroms jeans and when we picked them up they had a white bleach line running down the front and back. They had obviously marked the pants to give it a crease (which we had not asked for). When we showed them this they tried to take the pants to Nordstroms and blame them and get a refund! That's fraud! Of course, Nordstroms laughed at them....however, it didn't change their attitutude. They INSIST that Nordstroms has inferior pants and that they (L & M) had nothing to do with the ruination of the pants. At one point the male owner did admit that his wife had lied and that they did use bleach, but after his Nordstroms trip he changed his story back and they refused to stand behind their mistake. If they had just admitted it we would have worked something out. DO NOT patronize a dry cleaners who has pulled a trick like this on a good ($600/year) customer. read more

L&M is a great dry cleaning service. The front lady has been the nicest person for my cleaning needs and has always gone the extra mile to make sure my clothes were in great condition. The other day I took in a table cloth that I had decided to throw out because it was in bad shape after many years of use, but decided to take in into the cleaners in case they could do something about it. They returned the tablecloth a week later in immaculate condition. I would recommend this dry cleaners to anyone and can't imagine anyone having a problem with this place or its people. read more

I have simple drycleaning needs - a couple shirts a week and the occassional pants when I decide to wear them. ( I wear pants on most days, but sometimes I wear jeans to work). This drycleaner has met my needs and haven't screwed anything up. They have been around forever - sponsoring little league teams when I was growing up (prolly under different ownership). They are totally old school with all the drycleaning being done on premises and the old school conveyer thingy that goes around until your shirts come around. I think that contraption contributed to my becoming an engineer... read more
