It's been open for a little bit, not…read morequite a year, but long enough that there should be more Yelp buzz about it -- it's always busy when I'm there, and it has a really good feeling. It's also so different from the original Brothers Antique Mall, which is more like a traditional "antiquey" antique mall full of Old Stuff. There's old stuff here, but it's all got a place. It feels curated. There's home decor, old antiques -- a lot of farmhouse and chippy paint type stuff, cottagey stuff -- and there's candles and clothing. And books! Antique books, new books, art books, cookbooks, fiction, there's a wonderful variety. It's not a huge bookshop, but there's a lot of interesting and beautiful books here. It looks a lot more countryish on the outside, but the selection is definitely more boho and interesting. It's like an upbeat decor shop, the kind of place you can pick up a funky vintage piece or an upcycled new decor or handicraft, and have a fun time doing it. I've been there twice now, I like the feel, and I'll be back!

Things Unique is a vintage store in downtown Wellington. If you're into vintage quest mood, this is…read moreone of the two vintage stores within short walking distance. The store offers one-of-a-kind service and merchandise. LAYOUT: The store is one large space with multiple rooms and nooks. The front of the store has manly vibes. The rest of the store has treasures that are more domestic. MERCHANDISE: I've explored plenty of vintage stores but only found certain things here. The front of the store has barber shop sign, old lamps, antique old cans, collectible cars, gas cans, and more. Seriously suitable for a man's cave. The remaining merchandise are ethnic statues, apothecary and perfume bottles, figurines, cups and plates, antique lamps, bonnets, vinyls, wall art, Coca-Cola relics, and more. The shop does not have clothing with the exception of accessories - purses and clutches. However, I was most impressed with multiple small jars with of tonics and other apothecary finds. The inventory is not really organized by theme except perhaps the front, but somehow the store just flows. Every corner holds so much treasure. SERVICE: The service is very friendly. The shop keeper approached me in a greeting, complimented my outfit, and was very welcoming. She felt very genuine. I would recommend a visit to this shop for unique gifts or if you're entertaining. You're guaranteed to find gorgeous table settings. You can also find a perfect gift for your other half. It's a must visit shop.

The shopkeepers are super friendly and include a black cat that is so chill and hangs around the shop unbothered while you hunt for finds. There is a good box-full of postcards, which is my primary target in antique stores, along with stationery in general - that includes some old fountain pens. Posters, advertisements, viewfinder cards. There's a lot of furniture set-up throughout. Old books and toys. A Rock-Ola Cafe jukebox. One of the shopkeepers has a keen interest in plants and builds his own terrariums which are also on display throughout the store. From outside, I won't lie, the place looks a tad unapproachable. But rest assured, once inside you will be pleasantly surprised. Prices seem a bit on the high side, although for the postcards they were just to my liking. At least one owner seemed willing to haggle a bit and offer bulk deals. He mentioned future plans for having a stall style set-up with vendor booths in the back part of the building. Unlike what "Yelpers report", this place is very much still open.

This time the sale section was abundant and had savory items like instant cup noodles and chips! Between the BF and me, we cleared that section out, hahaha! We finally signed up for their rewards but because Medina is so dang far from both of us, their expiration on the points you earn is only 1.5 months or something, which is quite ridiculous! Make the points never expire and encourage people to come in every once in a while to redeem! I did hear about an Independence location opening so I'll probably check that out!
