I called in, and within three rings, the office manager answered the phone and had a truck in route within 10 minutes. Within 15 minutes, the truck was towed and brought to the location as planned. Brutal!!! I'm just about as understanding as they get, but there is no excuse for how we were treated today by Parker Towing. My daughter's car was overheating, so I called Parker Towing at 11:30am this morning. It's 2:43pm now, and our shop closes at 5pm. I still had not heard anything two hours later, so I called and they told me 30 minutes. It's been over three hours, and I finally called 1st Class in Parker. I understand that small businesses get busy and need to juggle things around, but at least have the decency to TELL ME! I'm thankful I'm not sitting on the side of a busy road in 90 degree heat. it seems a lot of people, including me at times, only write reviews when a company sucks, but not when they exceed expectations. Not sure exactly what my expectations were for a towing company, but Blake and Parker Towing made a crappy situation a lot more tolerable. Considering how it started, I was even a bit surprised about how painless it turned out to be. My car had a small (but big enough to cause a headache) hole in an oil hose or something. Not a mechanic, or I would have fixed it myself! I could not drive the car without oil, that much I know, thus the need for the tow truck. I created a mess on my friends driveway! Maybe she can drill and sell the oil, if only she would be allowed a permit. Anyway, I had a scheduled appointment for 11:00am on a Saturday with another company. When calling them to confirm, the driver stated he was in the mountains and would not be available for a while. I called five different towing companies. Except for Parker Towing, they all said the exact same thing about how long it would take them to pick up the SUV, "in about an hour". Considering they didn't ask were it was, so they probably meant 2 or more hours. It was like a script provided to all towing companies by some super secret towing cabal. The mechanic is an aquantence of mine and was coming in on a Saturday. Based on the original appointment, I had the day timed out so he didn't have to stand around and be further inconvenienced. When I contacted Parker Towing, they could not come immediately either, but went off the super secret script, asked where it was and said "within an hour". Blake was the driver and he was awesome. He did arrive within the hour. Parker Towing kept me informed of his status and Blake also called to advise when he was close. I was happy that he arrived with a flatbed instead of a standard tow truck. My vehicle (a standard SUV) was in a driveway and had to be pushed into position to be placed on the truck. The area is a rather small neighborhood of townhomes with very narrow streets you can barely park on with room to drive by. I could not start it without oil flying everywhere, so my power steering did not work. Blake pushed and steered the SUV in this cramped area to the perfect position to be pulled onto the truck. My friend is tiny and couldn't really push, and I was having a hard time without the power steering in the small area. Blake did it very efficiently, careful, and basically alone. I followed the truck for the 12 miles. He drove safely thru the crazy Denver traffic we have now at a decent pace, was quick to get it off the truck and parked where the mechanic could easily access it. I have to admit, the original company that I scheduled had me ticked, but by the time I was done with calling five additional companies, I was a very, very unhappy girl. Out of all of them, Parker Towing was the one I chose to call back, and I'm glad I did. Blake was polite and friendly. I was at ease with him taking my baby down the road. The guy who answered the phone and kept me posted was also nice. And the final important thing, if not the most important, the price was actually lower than I expected. Especially considering it was the weekend, the price of gas and the pathetic state of the economy. Overall, I would absolutely recommend Parker Towing to others. Who knew towing your car could actually turn out to be a pleasant experience. read more

We were stuck on the road on a Friday afternoon without brakes in our pickup & waited 4 hours for Good Sam Roadside Assistance to get someone to us which never happened. It was nearing sundown so I decided to call 911. Bill was there within 45 minutes and was a jewel. He took us back to the rv park dropping our truck there since all of the service locations were closed by that time. He came back on Monday to tow the truck to Lane Tire & AutoCare where we received equally great sevice. Thank you, Bill, for your kindness....our hero. read more

Highly recommend!! After waiting for over 2 hours for a towing company thru my roadside service; and trying to change the tire myself (so dumb and frustrating, but I couldn't get the tire to lower). I finally called Parker Towing. Why didn't I do this in the 1st place?! With in 7 minutes of calling a driver was enroute and arrived in 28 minutes. 30 minutes later (due to a stripped lug not, not David's fault), I was finally on my way to home sweet home! My car had to be towed this morning and Parker Towing did an absolutely great job during very stressful time. The receptionist girl who answered the call was so sympathetic to my plight and really tried to get the driver to me within hour. Kyle T took the call and arrived within an hour, less than hour actually. He called right away to let me know he was on his way. Was so friendly and polite and was careful loading my car and patient with me moving my personal stuff out. He delivered my car to the shop where the parking lot is so crammed, not to mention very narrow. His tow truck is huge and he was very well prepared how to enter the area and carefully unloaded my big SUV, parked it. He was very courteous and professional. I hope I never have to use towing services but if I ever do, I will always call Parker Towing. Their prices were very reasonable also. read more

DO NOT USE!!! This company was called by the police after I was rear ended to tow both vehicles. When I went to go get my stuff during business hours, I was told there was nobody to let me in and to call after business hours, the owner refused to help despite his employee's assurance he would. I then sent my husband during business hours the next day during business hours and they refused to let him clean it out for me due to not current registration (current one was in the car) but they refused to call the police to verify. 2 reasons for 5 star. 1) great price! And 2) GREAT customer service. 1) My bill was $141 to pick it up all the way downtown and take it to centennial (I think it was 16 miles), and just a couple nights before to tow it only 5 miles was $125! 2) The guy that picked up my car, Wade Pate had SUCH great customer service. It was very refreshing. They originally told me 10am which would be tight on time for me because of a job interview. So he made sure to call and say when he was on my way, and got here at 9:10 or so! Then he took my keys, took down my card # in advance (as I requested), and got everything else taken care of for me after I left and wished me good luck on my interview! He even texted me (so the call wouldn't interrupt my interview) when he got my car safely to the mechanic, told me the final amount, and that he left my receipt with them. It's gotta be a tough job...no one is happy when they have to get a car towed. But people that posted poorly about these guys were just pissed off about either their own actions or their "bad luck." One phrase to describe this company - Price gouging! Parker Towing currently has a contract with the Parker Police department to charge $135 for Hookup when the average price in Parker for the same service is $85 + $4 per mile towing. The town of Parker cannot be more than 10 miles wide so if you were being towed to their storage facility in the middle of Parker the most mileage you would expect to be charged is $20 ($4 x 5 miles). I would think the average tow mileage in Parker would be 2.5 miles. (so $85 towing and $10 for miliage for a total charge of $95). If I was a company that had a contract with the city, you would think that I would charge less, not more for the privlege to get the additional business in the city. I am not sure how a company gets to charge more for a service when they are getting a monopoly on towing for any traffic accident in Parker. Wait there is more. To pour more salt on the wound they charge an additional storage charge of $30 per calendar day when you pick up your vehicle. So if you get in an accident and pick up your car within 24 hours get ready for additional $60 to be added to your bill. I spoke to the owner about how I could not pick up my vehicle by the time they closed due to the police placing a hold on the vehicle and he did not want to listen to anything I had to say. He was very rude and acted like he could care less. I guess he will ride the gravy train as long as the town of Parker allows him to. $195 to hook up my vehicle, drive 1 mile and store it for 14 hours. Ridiculous! I pay $95 a year to AAA and it covers all towing that year up to 100 miles for each incident. What stinks is that I was not able to use AAA. The Parker Police department forces you to use their contracted towing company when an accident occurs, but the city needs to get a company to represent them that is customer friendly, ethical and fair. I think that this gets overlooked a lot because most people will run this through their insurance, but if you just have liability coverage, this comes out of the conusmers pockets. This type of gouging is what makes our insurance premiums so high. I have contacted the city of Parker on this travesty. read more

Avoid these people if you can! THEY are evidently under contract with the cities of Parker and Lone Tree. They told my daughter there would be no out of pocket expense to her if they towed our vehicle to their yard so she let them tow it. When I called to find out what the storage fee was for the weekend ,I was told by the bookkeeper that there was a storage fee and a "private impound fee" of almost $150! I asked why it was impounded and why and was told to talk to the owner, Carl, in person. I drove the 9 miles to Parker and did just that. The owner told me I owed a different amount and that the "private impound was actually a towing fee. I requested he honor what his driver had said and waive that fee and he said "no out of pocket" just meant not right now. My daughter, I, and our insurance agent all were under the impression that "no out of pocket" means no cost to that party. To be free of these dishonest and rude people, I made arrangements to have them tow the vehicle to another location, the distance for which I mapquested for mileage of the 3 projected routes. After receiving a reasonable quote, I arranged for the tow and PREPAID. When the vehicle arrived, the bill was for more than $20 over the quote. At the per mile rate I was quoted the driver must have driven many extra miles. This company operates on a "bait and switch" type of DISHONESTY. They also inflate their prices for some customers. Coincidentally, I called to get recommendations for other towing companies as she was handling another client's butt from Parker Towing. On her other customer's bill the per mile charge was more than double what I was quoted, and several dollars more than any of the 8 other towing companies I called for quotes. I will be sending complaint letters to the City of Lone Tree, the P.U.C., and the city of Parker. read more

Rude....misleading....unavailable to meet us to pick up our personal items even though they said they would be unless we'd pay them $50. We couldn't find the office, but happen to run on to the towing lot, so we drove in to pick of our personal items and were approached by an angry person accusing us of grand theft. We've never been through this before, so didn't know the rules. They took us to the office where we were again reprimanded and accused of grand theft for trying to pick up "our" personal items. She dismissed us and told us to go around back and wait for an employee to escort us back to the towing lot. We waited & waited and realized we were being punished for not following the unknown rules. We sat there an additional 15 min. and then were told he left and we'd have to find our way back. We had trouble finding it, just as before. When we finally got there and the guy was standing there like nothing happened. They let us walk in to retrieve our items, but wouldn't let us drive in. We had to walk a long distance and make 4 trips and he didn't even bother offering to help. I can't believe they have a contract with the city of Parker. They were abusive. read more
