UPDATE: After reading this review, this contractor called my home and threatened us, saying "You better take down that ad, or else!" and "You don't want to make an enemy out of me!" Wow. Just, wow.
The owner, David Parker, is rude, foul mouthed, and unequivocally unprofessional, with sloppy workmanship (as explained to us by a neighbor who came to inspect and was appalled by his use of unsightly neon green round cap roofing nails along our home's trim). Beware of this man!
Not only did he keep raising the job price on us (multiple times in one day!), beyond the originally quoted range, he was minimally available (sending a random gentleman over to work on our home without our permission, with whom communication was not possible for us as we didn't share a common language. Goodness knows if this fellow was also CCB certified). When we were able to talk to Mr. Parker, he would yell, insult, and cuss. I mean literally scream and cuss, especially if we had any questions or imply we wanted to talk to eachother first. When my husband said he wanted to talk to me about the latest price hike, he resorted to insulting his manhood. What kind of professional does that? He left materials and debris in our yard, our neighbors yard, destroyed flower and herb plants, and just generally made a mess of things.
I honestly wouldn't recommend this man to my worst enemy. The fact is, the roof hasn't leaked since he worked on it, but if I had to choose between a leak and dealing with him, give me the leak! He is a psychopathic nightmare. We paid him for what he had done the first day and refused to let him finish the job. No one should have to pay for the kind of verbal abuse and obvious attempt at taking advantage of our lack of roofing knowledge. He frequently posts on Craigslist.
