I came back in 45 mins and was told by his much friendlier co-worker that it would be another 15 minutes. I asked if that's true because I at this point my skepticism kicked in. I told her the time frame already given to me by box braids. 3 minutes later my prescription was ready and box braids not only did not apologize for the daily but didn't respond when I acted cordially by saying "Thank you". He chose to look at me with an attitude. Sad that this is the world we live in now. Not taking accountability is the new standard. There were other employees at the pharmacy counter. All had an unobstructed view of what I was doing and I appeared to be the only customer in the store. Yet when I pressed the button for assistance and patiently waited, no one came to assist. I pressed the button a second time, no one came. Rather than pressing a third time I asked the employees at the pharmacy counter. They were able to call someone....who called someone....to get the guy that greeted me at the front door to open the display. Especially annoying at this hour of the morning in an empty store. While they put so much effort into loss prevention they should also consider customer service for the paying customer.
