Beautiful food hall! I recommend this place especially if you have a group of friends to share a meal with. The food hall offers different meal options so there is something for everyone. The bartender was great with exceptional service. We had a great time and the space was big enough for our book club. We were here midweek so it wasn't loud at all.

Ate at Curious Toast in Park Square Market with my daughter, and we both ordered the Burque Melt on gluten-free bread with a side of potatoes. I asked a lot of questions about their precautions, and the person making our order explained that they toast the gluten-free bread in a completely separate area, wipe down surfaces, and use different utensils for gluten-free orders. The potatoes are cooked separately as well. He was very friendly, helpful, and answered all my questions with care. The food was absolutely delicious--we'll definitely be back!

Wanted to give Park Square Market a try this past weekend, and the places we tried did not disappoint. Started at Lemon and Brine for a refreshing strawberry lemonade with tajin rim. Perfect balance of sweetness. Headed over to Kulantro and ordered a bahn mi with grilled pork and a spring salad with grilled chicken. Both were refreshing and perfect for a hot day. The balance of the fresh veggies and richness of the meat was spot on. Went to Dr. Field Goods and got a half order of coney chili cheese fries and man, were these the best tasting fries! Even with the chili on top they were so crispy and crunchy! Ventured over to Hawt Pizza Co and ordered a build your own pizza. We did an alfredo base pizza with mozzarella, bacon, roasted chicken, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, caramelized onion, artichoke hearts and cherry tomatoes. Let me tell you that pizza was amazing! Crust held up to ALL of those toppings and still had a good crunch. Keep in mind these were all shared and we still had leftovers with the exception of the bahn mi, that is perfect for two people. You have options to sit inside or on the patio which is a decent size and lots of shaded areas if it's hot outside. Would definitely go back.

The bartender Rico was super nice. The sushi was delicious, really good atmosphere but was a little chilly.

So I'm thinking "eggplant burger" sounds like something my hippie cousin would order while doing yoga in the desert, but NOPE. This purple beauty showed up looking like it graduated summa cum laude from Burger University. The sweet potato tots? Forget about it! They were so crispy and perfect, I'm pretty sure they were blessed by the sweet potato gods themselves. I may have made some questionable moaning sounds that scared the family at the next table, but no regrets. And can we talk about the Oktoberfest from Santa Fe Brewery? This beer was smoother than my dance moves after three margaritas (which is saying something because I dance like a caffeinated penguin). It paired with that eggplant burger like peanut butter and jelly, or like me and bad life decisions. The service was so good I wanted to adopt the entire staff. They were attentive without being clingy, friendly without being weird, and they didn't judge me when I asked for extra napkins because I eat like a toddler at a birthday party. Bottom line: If you don't come here, you're doing your taste buds a disservice that should probably be illegal. I'm already planning my next visit and considering getting the eggplant burger tattooed on my forearm. Will definitely be back faster than you can say "green chile!"

Downside? There are a variety of restaurants there but there were only two that interested me toda - and one wasn't open yet. The one I tried (and had been long wanting to try) was a disappointment. There is another one there that I know is fine and at least a couple more that look vaguely promising. You'll find something to eat - but I can't guarantee it'll knock your socks off.

Seems this Sensational eatery used to be a bus but lost it's wheels and is now permanently parked in the #2 spot just off Central Ave on the sunny El Vado open air patio/plaza. Bein' a fool for a Cubano sandwich, I succumbed to the moral obligation to order these friendly folks' Spicy Cubano version with parmesan & truffle chips on the side. When I got home & opened the to-go box I was duly impressed at the generous size of the sandwich. The handful of homemade lookin' chips was adequate at filling its corner of the container. From the first bite, the spicy aspect was not inside the sandwich. While well flavored, the Scoville scale on that sammie was on the low end of heat, particularly for the Burqueño crowd. However, the large'ish pepperoncini spiked to the top of the sandwich was the nuclear blast bringin' a little scorched earth policy to the party. We're talking nasal clearing, eye watering, tongue shrivelling, throat chokin' thermal overload. It was so good!! The flat bread on the sammie was chewy & sturdy enough to corral the layers of beef, ham, cheese, and pickles without degradation or deteriorating. The red chile mayo was super sparse, to the point of almost non-existent, and left me wanting for more to jack up the heat a bit. The beef was okay to good, being subtly spiced which let the umami taste shine through. Ham was of the water added variety so offered decent texture & moistness to the filling. But the smoke note in the mix was a soft one, not intense with the acrid attack often found in dry cure hams. Pickles were okay to good. Cheese was likewise okay to good, though not as spicy as I would hope for from a pepper jack cheese. The parmesan & truffle fries were of the sturdy sort. The good news being that they were surprisingly non-greasy in spite of being mottled in a pinto pony pattern of oil saturated patches across their surfaces. My fingers remained delightfully free of napkin dabbing while devouring the chips. The bad news being that they tasted like pretty much standard home made potato chips found everywhere. I didn't pick up the parmesan funkiness or pungency on them at all. So the chips were sort of a 3 star affair & just okay being crunchy, fried, salty enough without overdoing it, and not greasy. With the Cubano & chips being about a 3.5 star situation, it's the friendly cashier lady & cook who make Street Food Sensations a solid 4 star affair. I found them to be friendly and welcoming and fun. So kudos to the staff for being a bright addition to the sunny atmosphere of the El Vado eating scene.

It sort of felt like I was a child again and in the candy shop from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Over the last year, I have visited Albuquerque twice, and during those two trips, I went to the Sawmill Market three times. While I had different dishes for dinner on each of the visits, I certainly stopped by the Sweets Soda Fountain all three times. They have sodas and float where you can choose a flavor and then choose to "glow up" the soda or float by adding whipped cream, sprinkles, or cotton candy. They have 8 Sweets Originals including my favorite "The Orange Dream" made of orange juice, vanilla ice cream, orange sherbet, and soda water. They have "pour overs" which contain alcohol. They also have bubbles, and you can make any drink "boozy" by adding Prosecco and cordials. They also have a "Flight of the Unicorns" with three tastes of Prosecco topped with house-made cotton candy, which you can add macarons or bonbons if you want. I had "The Orange Dream" on two of the visits. It was tasty and reminded me of an orange dreamsicle or "creamsicle" popsicle. In addition to the drinks, they also have macarons, bonbons, gummies, cotton candy, and other kinds of pre-packed candies. I also met three different employees over the several months, who each gave me individual attention (especially as no one else was in line). One had me try a complimentary bonbon since she didn't know the difference in flavors. All answered my many questions and made recommendations of what to try. I was pleased with the service of the employees at Sweets Soda Fountain. They also took the Sawmill Market gift card. You can see the Sweets Soda Fountain menu by going to https://www.sawmillmarket.com/menus and clicking on Sweets Soda Fountain. They are open daily from 11 AM to 9 PM. While I didn't actually realize there were boozy beverages until after I left, I can see how this place would be popular with kids and adults alike. What a delightful experience visiting! I look forward to going back again on a future Albuquerque trip.
