I have been parking here for years, but today I had an unsettling experience. The driver named James was rude to me when I got on the bus. He seemed upset that I offered to carry my own bags since there were many passengers I thought it would be helpful. I proceeded to quickly grab my bags and get off the bus when we arrived at my car. James made rude remarks at me as I got off to approach my vehicle. As I was driving out after I had paid, James drove near the exit and started yelling at me FROM the bus! Yikes! WOMEN BEWARE: The last thing I want is to be harassed at a place of business. I will no longer return here and I suggest any women/families please exercise extreme caution! They have become my go-to parking lot for the airport. Every visit has gone completely smoothly: a shuttle is always ready when I get there or very shortly thereafter, we've always gone very quickly to the airport. Coming home, shuttles again are very prompt. And of course getting picked up and dropped off right at your car is fantastic, especially once rainy season is here! Shuttle drivers have always been friendly, efficient, and safe. And of course, having a reservation is a nice hedge against having an ugly surprise when trying to get to your flight! It's really weird to love a parking lot so much, but I do love this place. There are so many considerations when you're traveling, and I feel like the good people of Park Shuttle N Fly eliminate some of the concern you might experience otherwise. Here's why I'll always use them: - Location: you're extremely close to the airport (it takes about 5 minutes to get there using the shuttle), so you don't have to worry about parking and then running into traffic that could put you behind schedule. - Price: it's more affordable to park here than it is to park in long-term or the economy parking lot. It's $13/day vs $24 and $15, respectively. They also give you a discount if you're part of AAA. - Reservations: if you're flying during peak times, it's nice to know that you can reserve a spot and are guaranteed a spot. Just make sure to book in advance because this place does fill up. - Security: I love that your car is behind a fence in a lot that is well-lit and monitored by both cameras and staff 24/7. I've also felt safer traveling solo as a woman because you aren't standing in an open parking lot by yourself while you wait for the shuttle. - Shuttle: It picks you up right away when you park, and you never wait more than 10 minutes after you call post-landing. Drivers are usually very friendly and helpful, loading your bags if you want them to. - Loyalty: If you save your cards, you can eventually earn enough to get a free day. I must declare as of today this is the best place to drop off my car before I fly back home. It's a good find for me because I tend to be in between two places. With their prices to park and fly, it cannot be beat. The lots here are safe and well protected which means if you are not a PDX native but still work in the area, this is the place to park. When I got here the lot wasn't packed and was able to find a spot before I get to the airport. The people who work here are very flexible and are always happy to help. I didn't have to wait that long for a shuttle bus to arrive which is good. I had limited time to get to my flight back home. I called when I arrived and the shuttle came quickly. I don't know it was luck, but I got to my car quickly and after a long day of travel and an unexpected night in another city, it was nice to get back to my car. The check in process is easy and the shuttle picks you up quickly to get to the airport. I like that you can make a reservation online, so you don't have to worry about there not being a space. I made my reservation via their website - they emailed quote plus the QR code. Upon arriving I had my QR code ready and it scanned in at the check in gate, they directed me to what row to park in. Friendly driver came and picked us up, helped with luggage. Upon return, had to make sure I called in and went down to the island 1 area for courtesy/hotel shuttles (dont use the PDX parking bux areas) - driver was there shortly, and again helped with luggage. Tipped the drivers on both trips - much appreciated! Upon exiting, again show the QR code, she scanned it in, price was even a bit lower than the quote. Cool! We had booked a shuttle with a private company for a ride to and from the airport....well they decided to not show up!! Frustrated and panicked we grabbed our car keys and I frantically googled long term parking as my husband drove us to the airport. We have used another parking lot with a Groupon shuttle service before but couldn't remember the name since it had been a few years since we have traveled anywhere. So long story short hubby dropped me off at the airport so I could check our bags and get thru security. I waited for him on the other side of security as he went to park the car and shuttle to the airport. It seemed flawless as well as the pick up upon return. We simply grabbed our bags from baggage claim , called the number on our claim ticket and waited on island 1 for the shuttle under the heat lamps. It was cold out and we waited less than 10 minutes for pick up. The ride to the vehicle was only 5-7 minutes away tops. The shuttle dropped each individual off at their specific vehicle in the lot. The driver helped us lift our luggage out of the shuttle and we loaded the vehicle and made our way to the exit to pay. We will definitely use this long term parking lot again. read more

I searched around and at first was looking for the cheapest option. The cheapest option turned out to be paid parking in a local motel parking lot. Right on a busy street with no surveillance or security. I decided to pay twice as much to park at the park and fly and I am happy with my decision. The lot is watched 24/7 by a human in the front office. They shuttle you to and from the airport and the shuttle drivers are very nice. I called to modify a reservation that I had made when my flight plans changed. The woman who greeted me on the phone was extremely rude. She acted very put out that I was even calling in the first place. After explaining that I needed to add an additional day to my reservation she asked for my barcode number and last name and told me very bluntly to call back in 10 minutes. When I called back she very rudely asked if I had checked my email. To which I replied "why would I check my email." Almost before I could finish asking she cut me off to spit back "because I sent you a new reservation to your email, so you need to check it." I replied that she hadn't made it known on our first call that she was going to do that. She then sarcastically chuckled and said "well I'm in between 2 customers so I can't really be dealing with you so check your email please." I pulled up my email to see that she had indeed sent me an updated reservation. I then confirmed to her that I had it and thanked her and once again she cut me off to rudely state to "just make sure you scan the bar code when you come in." I've used this business many times and love the convenience but this lady really didn't leave me with a great impression. read more

Wow I thought this service was too good to be true! They have a huge garage that is monitored and has a guard in the front. You would need to go through a gate to enter so definitely book ahead and have your QR code ready. They are very organized and have a spot already ready for you in their lot. Though this looks like a very small company at this location, all of the staff are very communicative. Once you are let in through the gate and arrive to your designated spot, the shuttle driver has already been told to meet you there and will pick you up and help with luggage. The drivers are very personable and will drop you off at your/your co-riders' exact terminals, no extra stops and no waste of time! I was a little anxious about figuring out how to find the shuttle once I came back to Portland, but they give you a business card with your parking spot and you just need to call the number once you've arrived with your baggage. The driver will meet you at Island 1 and you just need to return your business card and the drive will drop you off to your specific stop. They make this so easy and efficient and I'm so glad I went with this business. My only regret is not having cash on me to tip my first driver on my way to the airport. I am s huge fan of this business and have used it many times when flying out of PDX. I have only once had a minor problem, when I flew during spring break, and as The lot was packed, and I had not made a reservation, I gave them the car key and let them valet park my car for me. When I came back, it took them a while to find my car. However, find it they did, and they took a day off the fees because of the inconvenience. When a company makes a mistake right, I tend to stay a fan. I admit that I have shown up rushing to get to the airport, but the shuttle bus shows up promptly and always manages to get me there, in spite of my poor planning. Maybe one day the MAX line will extend down to my area, but until then this is where I park when flying out of PDX. For years I used PDX's long term lot, but got burned a few times. The minutes spent driving up and down rows looking for a spot, the run to catch the shuttle, missing it, then freezing while you wait for the next one. So I heard about Park N Fly and decided to give it a shot. I've used it about 10 times and no snags yet (knock wood). They are close to the airport on 82nd Avenue (not to be confused with Air Park right next door) and the coolest part is when you enter the lot the attendant tells you where to park. Then their shuttle bus arrives moments later to pick you up from your spot. The driver handles your luggage and gives you your ticket with the parking space number filled in. They don't circle the lot looking for additional riders, so I've only had to wait a minute or two when someone arrives at the same time I have for a pick-up. They deliver you to PDX quickly and when you arrive back home you can call for your pick-up. Even when I've forgotten to do this their shuttle is usually in the pick up spot, so I've had little to no wait on either end of my trips. There are some things I'll pay a premium for, but parking isn't one of them. Even when I don't have coupons, they offer a AAA discount and partner with Alaska Airlines. Now, I was a perfectly happy customer, but my decision to use them was reinforced last year. A former neighbor used the PDX long term lot. Their car was broken into while on their trip and then the thieves burglarized their house while they were gone as well. They obtained their address from the vehicle registration docs in the glove compartment. Then they came back and did it again a few weeks later after they went out and bought new stuff. So for those of you foolish enough to use the long term lot, I suggest you take your personal documents with you just to be safe. **Update Feb. 2008** Had another great experience this week. A friend was trying to catch the same early AM flight and attempted to park in the economy lot which was full. After going to another lot and waiting for the shuttle it took 45 minutes for her to reach the terminal and the airline gave away her ticket. Another reason I am totally loyal to this place. I waited less than five minutes to have the shuttle pick me up at my car and deposit me at my airline on the upper level and the shuttle was waiting for me at the terminal upon my arrival at 1:30a. read more

I've got to take a moment to rave about park n fly. We had a large group to fly out of PDX and needed to go over in multiple cars. That was the cheapestand safest option for us. Weeks before I got a quote for $115 for each car for 10 days. Fingers crossed the quote stays relatively the same upon check out of our cars. However it would have been way more expensive if we all stayed at a hotel. Self serve gated parking lot. They let you know where there is parking available and then the shuttle comes to pick you up. The driver helped us with alll our baggage. We were dropped off at our gate. A+ Coming home: they give a little business card to put in your wallet, you have to hold onto the whole trip. As well you keep you keys for your parked car through The Who whole trip as well. They picked us up, helped with baggage once again and got us safely back to our cars. Upon check out our quote was what we paid and out kids left their jackets in the shuttle bus, and the driver tracked us down to get them back to us. Thank you guys! Getting picked up from the airport is always a struggle/wait. I find myself watching other shuttles make repeat trips before Park N Fly arrives. My last straw was when my car was stranded in their lot during a recent snow event. They don't pay to have someone clear their street and it was 3 days after I landed before I could get to my car. They insisted on charging me for the extra days even though I've been a loyal customer for 10+ years so I'm switching to another lot. read more

I called to clear this up and the employee I spoke with said this was happening lately and to call back monday when the manager was in and that he would take care of it. As long as you keep your documents, the experience can't be beat. We've used this service a number of times and a majority of the staff are helpful and courteous. Out of all of our positive experiences, we had one experience (less than stellar) when the total was not what we remembered being quoted. We couldn't find our documents so we paid the slightly higher rate (I believe if I do not have the documents to refute a claim, I am not going to argue with the staff). Whenever I need to go somewhere for more than a day, then I park at Park N Fly. It's WAY better than the economy parking. Here's why: 1. They tell you which row has parking spot, so you don't need to spend 10 minutes finding a spot. 2. They send the shuttle right to your car, so you don't need to drag your suitcase to the bus stop. Also means you don't have to wait for the bus, it comes immediately. 3. They give you a card with your spot #, so you don't need to try to remember later. 4. When you get back, give them a call and the shuttle comes for you at the airport. The loyalty program is kinda cheesy though. 10 _stays_ to get 1 _day_ off? Being able to make reservations via their website is nice, but it's a drag to have to print out their reservation and use it to check-in. They need to modernize to either having memberships and/or putting their reservations into the iPhone wallet, just like the airline reservations. Their prices have increased to $12 / day, now $2 more than PDX Economy. I think for those who want to feel safer, that door-to-door shuttle service, the extra cost is worth it. The Park-n-Fly lot was hard to find. A couple of wrong turns sent us the wrong way in the dark. We called and were guided into the location. You get picked up at your car. When you get home they were waiting curbside, and drop you off at your car. Great Senior discount. Its great to be Able to drop off your car anytime of day/night, and very easy to get picked up. Call once you get your bags and they will either send a van to pick you up or there will one waiting for you at Island 2. We just got back from our trip to Denver, and we had to leave our car here for the weekend. This was the first time we ever left our car somewhere like this, and we were hesitant. Our friend recommended this place, since she usually flies out of PDX, so we decided to do it. We made a reservation online, got a barcode sent to my email, and used it to check in when we arrived. When we checked in, an employee told us exactly where to park. Within 3 minutes, there was already a shuttle driving to our spot to pick us up. We were helped with our luggage and given a card with our parking spot number (DO NOT LOSE THIS, YOU NEED TO HOLD ONTO IT UNTIL YOU COME BACK). The trip was pretty short to the airport which was good for someone like us that want to be there early. On our arrival, when we got back from our trip and landed, we were asked to call them to request a shuttle (giving them 15 minutes and making sure we were there waiting). Shuttle arrived quickly and took us to our vehicle. Overall, it was a very good experience. The bus drivers were very friendly and helpful. I recommend you take cash to tip the drivers. Unfortunately, we didn't have any cash but I hope this good review will encourage them to keep doing their best, and encourage others to park here and give them business. Our car was waiting for us just how we left it. It seems like it's a safe place to park! I definitely recommend this place and we'll be back in a month when we fly to Austin! I have used this company twice now while traveling out of town for a couple of weeks. The price is fair and I love the peace of mind that it's safe and my car won't be broken into while out of town. They drop you off and pick you up at your car in their parking lot, load and unload your luggage into your vehicle for you and pick you up at the third strip outside of baggage claim at the airport. I recommend calling once your luggage starts coming through the belts so once you get it and outside they will be there. There is about a 5-15 minute wait depending on where the bus is at the time if you wait until you are outside to make the call. The parking is in a secured lot but not covered so our car was covered in dirt/sand when we got back. The customer service was great and I would highly recommend making a reservation first because then the transactions are very smooth. And if you save the cards each time you use them and get ten then you get a free day on your next visit. read more

I'm getting sick and tired of the quality of cab service in Portland. Living out near 82nd, it's damn near impossible to get a cab to show up to my house, even with 24-hour advance booking. And when I'm headed to the airport, I can't live with the uncertainty inherent in the process. Too many times I've had to call the cab dispatch to confirm my pickup, only to have them tell me that no cab has accepted the ticket. Whatever, I'm done with it. And alas, we have no Uber to set things straight here. In comes Park N Fly! At $10/day, Park N Fly is cheaper than a cab to and from the airport for me as long as the trip is five days or less. And I live something like seven miles from the airport. If you live farther away (and not on a MAX line), I can only imagine the economics of this transaction are exaggerated. And since I my travels are often only two to four days in length (work travel), it not only makes economic sense for me to Park N Fly, it makes practical sense too. The transaction is easy. I choose my schedule, drive over, drop my car (they tell me where to park), I wait by my car (never more than five mins max, usually less than a minute), hop the shuttle to the airport (a few mins) and get dropped at the door. General turn is seven minutes, and only once has it been more like ten. They give me a card with my row and space number, and I hold on to that for the return. On the other end, I simply call the number on the card when I land, and head out to Island 2 - the shuttle bus island - outside of baggage claim. The longest I've waited here is about 5 minutes, and the blue bus comes to get me. They drop me right back at my car again, and I'm out the door after about a 10-minute turn. No waiting in the cab line, no being forced to use a cab company I loathe because they happen to be next in line, no having to argue with the cab driver about why I want to take 82nd (it costs less) than the freeway... frankly, no bullshit. On an occasion or two, I've had to let them valet my car when the spaces are full. I was a little nervous about leaving my keys with them for multiple days, but each time I took odometer readings and checked all the valuables in my car, and nothing was amiss on my return. My trust in them has grown, and so has my patronage. They do have a deal where you save 10 parking cards and get a free day. I feel like this should be more of a "park 10 times and your 11th stay is free" instead of just one day. Or even "park 10 days and your 11th is on us." With the current promo I'd park on average 30 days just to get one free, and have to keep track of cards for months. But hey, that's the deal they offer. Not sure if it's worth saving all those cards for one $10 discount, but for those that are frugal, this is an option. Honestly I don't know why I'd ever be messing with a cab to the airport in the future. Maybe it's more turn-key when you live downtown, but out on the fringe (if you can really call Montavilla "the fringe"), cab service is abysmal and unreliable. The extra you might spend parking your car will save you plenty in stress, heartache, headache and possible missed flights from messing with late cabs. read more

I was really skeptical about leaving my car here over the weekend, but I had to try so I did. I drove up, received a ticket that you hold onto until you leave, and was told to park at any available spot. When I parked, the shuttle bus drove up to me and presented me with a card with my parking spot on it. Immediately after, I was shuttled to the airport. Upon returning from the weekend, I called the number for pick up and told me that there was already a shuttle waiting at the island. I boarded and was taken back to my car. I pulled my car to the exit, paid my bill (if you have AAA, you get a discount!), and happily drove back to my apartment. The whole process is simple and I highly recommend this parking lot. They have deals online too so if any of them apply to you, then I suggest you print out the coupon and present it when you exit. We didn't want to make our friends drive us to the airport at 4am or pick us up at 11pm so Park n fly was a great option for us for our Thanksgiving travels. The shuttle drivers were cheerful and helpful even at 4am, we made a reservation in advance to guarantee a spot, and they had an online coupon so we only paid $8.95/day which was cheaper than PDX long term parking. We never had to wait long for the shuttle, and I felt like the lot was very secure. Definitely go to their website before parking if you can since that is where the coupons are posted. Also my reservation confirmation went to my junk mail folder, so if you book online make sure you check your spam folder for the confirmation. Would use park n fly again in a heartbeat. read more
