My car window was broken when I was parked here overnight in late February. I never leave any items visible and nothing was taken. I've parked in various places in Portland for many years and have never had a window broken because of this. This happened after parking here overnight for less than 2 months, and this is the most I've ever paid for parking. I called Parking NW's number a month ago and was asked to write an email. Beautiful parking garage in Downtown. This is a hidden gem. With the crime and homeless increasing in Portland, this felt like a safe place

We parked in this underground garage adjacent to the Director Park, where we were to meet up for a walking tour of downtown Portland. The garage had an elevator that brought you up literally into a stand-alone glass-walled 'room' in the park (specifically for the elevators). After the tour, we went back to use the glass room to return, but you needed a card key to get in... Maybe this is to keep out the homeless (in addition to tourist parkers). Hence, we had to find another way back to the garage. A note on the door said to use 'the entrance on Park Avenue'. The garage (mostly) seemed to serve a movie theater above it and the first such entrance we found was for the theater. So we went in. there was just a set of escalators serving a higher floor and some elevators that only went up... We ascended the escalator to...the theater lobby. It was devoid of patrons, but did have a couple of people at the concession stand. I approached and told them that I was just looking for the access to the garage. The guy got a sort of excited look and said, "(in a slightly theatrical voice) Well sir, here is what you must do..." I thought this might detour into some sort of musical number, but instead he proceeded to give us good directions to another entrance to a more generic office lobby, where there were other elevators. We found these, but the parking levels were not labeled the same as in the initial set of elevators. So, we were a bit confused as to whether we were actually on the correct level or not. After a bit of wandering, we were able to locate our vehicle and continue with our day, though. If you are just using this garage to park for the movie theater, you will probably have less trouble. read more

The most clean, secure, and safe public parking I know of in Portland. I wish I had started going here sooner. The only downside is you end up paying double if you have to leave over lunch and come back (instead of paying half day twice.) There's a security guard stationed in the building lobby who watches cameras, and another who walks the garage. You can't access the plaza entry without a badge, which requires you to filter through the building to get back in the garage, (which helps with security.) read more

**WC** Pretty low ceilings which is always unnerving but welcome to Portland my friend. This garage is pretty darn clean, easy to park in and out of - even for a wheelchair user - good flat land here for ADA my friends and a decent array of spots to park in for all users. Get validated - usually we park here when going to the Ringside Fishhouse so get the magic stamp my friends. Good gameplan is go here for the symphony or whatever showing nearby, a movie perhaps...grab a bite at Ringside before or after...easy night. Very clean lot though and this is one of the few places you really do not have to be nervous about your car. read more

I think I found the most expensive parking in the entire city of Portland. I misunderstood where I was supposed to park for an appointment and thought they were validating here. Apparently not. For my 2 hours, I was charged $12!! Next time, SmartPark. read more

This is my favorite parking garage for downtown and overnight parking. I have stayed at various hotels downtown overnight and I always park here because it always ends up being around $20 as opposed to hotel parking which can be $50+. It is also clean, safe, and centrally located. Highly recommend. read more

Safe and secure environment to leave your car all day! No sketchy people hanging around, so I felt very safe walking to/from my car. Very clean and well kept. The price was VERY reasonable for Portland. On a Friday, I only paid $14 for the whole day. Will definitely go back to this garage. read more

I got my car stuck here overnight because apparently the garage closes at midnight even though there are no signs that say so and online it says it's open 24 hours?? I went to a movie and came out just after midnight and all the doors were locked and the garage was closed. I had to Uber home and Uber back in the morning. read more

A guarded garage located in the Fox Tower. The weekly daily rate is $14 if one parks before 9:30 a.m. As mentioned in several reviews, the ceilings are quite low and lifted trucks may have a hard time parking in this underground garage. The garage is also home to an EV charging station (J1227) that is roughly $2-3 an hour to charge. Overall this is a secure garage with friendly attendants in a great location in the heart of downtown. Tip: If shopping at Nordstrom, they can validate for this garage for shorter shopping trips. read more

Worst place ever there was a broke in car show ... when I was like nope and try to go out the lady charged me $6 ! Worst place ever to park !! Don't park here !!!! I told the lady thanx for the broken car show and she was like your lie and I told her to go to the reserve and she was like oh it happen ... worst customer service!! We driver have right if our parking is going to be safe if we are parking !!!!! Don't tell me I can't know !! I was on a road trip to permanently move from Whidbey Island to San Francisco and Portland was a stop on the way! I was advised that it was dangerous to leave your parked on the street sides, so I went looking for a 24 hour parking place since I was going to stay overnight at a hotel and I had stuff to lug around! The other parking lots were sketchy because any one can just scoot around in their city scooters/bicycles at any speed and no one was telling them to slow down or these areas should be prohibited to bring them in knowing they can bump into people's parked cars. But not this place! Absolutely safe and quiet while you go around and sight see in Portland. The best part is that it is 24 hours and watched. Help me worry less and enjoy my stay. read more

Best parking garage ever! We arrived Friday night and left Sunday noon and our total cost was $19.50. What a great price! Our hotel would've cost us $50 every night. There are cameras everywhere and a security guard inside the main lobby. read more

Probably the cleanest parking garage downtown and definitely the one with the greatest sense of security, if you're one of those paranoid types. I'm also pretty sure that this garage is open twenty-four hours a day but if you need to park downtown at four in the morning, I'm sure there's an open meter somewhere. The downside is that this is one really expensive garage. They've recently changed their rates so that it is $9.95 for early bird parking on weekdays, which isn't bad. Also on weekends, if you get in before 9:30, it is $4. However, when parking at any other time, it is very, very expensive. read more

Would have been 5 stars, but was not compatible with my COIN, so I had to pull my debit card out of hiding. Attendant did not speak enough English for me to explain. Also, out door is mislabeled for weekends- go to the right hand lane. read more

Sat Feb 7 was a nightmare at this garage. I arrived at 4:$0 pm and there was a mess with a ticket dispensing machine not working. (I realize this happens) But, people trying to leave the garage were backed up 50+ cars down into the garage trying to pay to get out. At that point we couldn't go backwards so we parked and went to a movie. Three hours later when trying to leave the same backlog of cars existed. It took 30 minutes to get out of the garage. The poor man working the booth was alone just like he was 3 hours before. You'd think management would have a way of dealing with these problems and show up with more people and ways to get customers who are trapped. Can't management do better? read more
