This is quite possibly the nastiest garage in the area. The basement section has an overwhelming stench of urine. The upper levels have bird droppings from pigeons roosting in the rafters. There were remnants of broken windows in multiple spaces. There are plenty of security signs but in no way does this garage feel secure. We never saw any monitoring and the booth remained empty during our time there. The spaces are quite small and difficult to navigate. At $6 for a weekend space it looks like a bargain but it comes with far too many risks to be worth it. The place needs a pressure washing and active security in place moving forward. Without these, I won't be returning. read more

Don't park here. Car broken into and my kid's backpack stolen after only a couple hours while we were at the Portland Armory.

I am 82 and my friend is 76 and has a heart condition. We parked in this garage in order to go to a play in the Armory. I forgot my handicap placard and so we had to park up several levels. Once we parked we found that the elevator was not working. I remember several months ago when we came to a play here the elevator was not working then and it has apparently never been fixed. We had to walk down a very steep and long flight of stairs. There was actually feces on the steps. When we returned after the play my friend walked up several flights to find that the access door to the garage was locked so she had to walk back down again. I called the number for the office and pressed the number for emergency after hours services to be met by a recording that said No one was there and to leave a message. What kind of emergency services this? I would warn you against parking here. We finally struggled up the ramp and got to our car but I would never ever ever ever park in this horrible place again. read more

If you value your safety and your vehicle; do not park here. 10pm on a Saturday night, walking to your car downtown alone can be a tad sketchy. After working an evening shift nearby, I walked to the elevator and heard a person in distress screaming. I clicked the button and then heard the person sound like they were in agonizing pain, screaming in the elevator. Because it didn't feel safe, I walked up the ramp and got in my car & called the city parking emergency line. I let them know & gave them the address of the parking garage and they said they would send someone on their way. As I drove down I saw the individual wobbling and going from car to car peering in and wandering on the second floor, they looked unstable. As I drove down the ramp I saw a girl and warned her that it looked like there was a suspicious person on the second floor and to avoid it. I called the number once again and updated security. I got a missed call from another number: 971-347-6725 - Pearl Auto Park. I called back to check in and this extremely rude individual who was incredibly condescending telling me that they did not call me & that it's not their job to surveillance the parking garage and that their clearance was of a managerial position and that they're only job is to open and close the garage and take parking fees & that "it's your responsibility as a civil servant to call the police & I'm not just going to go to the garage to chase down this person who might be up to something." Not only did they not ask me what the matter was, because he obviously could care less due to the fact that his goal of the day was to do the bare minimum. I asked him if it was his responsibility to investigate if theres suspicious activity happening in the garage and if the safety of the individuals using the garage is compromised if he'd do anything, he said it was my responsibility to call security and that it's not in his job description. & that if there was a crime I need to call 911. He went on to accuse me of things I never said, threatening that the call is recorded, and insisting that he holds no responsibility in this matter. I'm shocked that I got such awful customer service, from an individual that implies they are in a managerial position. That kind behavior isn't one I'd trust or want to continue to fund. So park here at your own risk. read more

This garage deserves negative stars. We were at lunch just across the street for only two hours and our window was smashed and a bag stolen. Not to mention, this garage is so ridiculously small. You could hardly pull into any spot it's so horribly spaced. Save yourself the headache and find ANYWHERE else to park. I would never recommend this place. read more

My car window was broken into and completely smashed. Called the number listed and was met with uncaring remarks. Mind you mine was the 4th window that week to be broken into. I have witnessed multiple people shooting up in the garage as well as having to see police outside for someone overdosing in the street. Last week there we people casing cars as a creepy van sat in the second floor . On occasion there will be a security officer walk through but that is once in a blue moon. There is no point to call the service number as no one answers most of the time and when someone does all they say is to call the police. Lack of parking is no excuse for poor service and slow response when you charge exuberant prices to your customers . Completely unacceptable to take advantage of people in that way. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I got a ticket after I paid for parking. I tried to pay for 2,3,4 hours of parking but the only choice that would go through was the 1 hour choice. I was 1 hour late to my car and it had a ticket that was dropped off just moments before I returned to my car. Tried to pay the difference of the hour I stayed there and relayed that the machines weren't working. But I was told that they "have to abide by the property managers rules" when asked to speak to said person. They couldn't provide me with that. They told me to pay the fine and thats all that can be done. This place sucks and smells like shit anyway. read more

I've been parking with Pearl Auto Park for over a year and the new management has been great to work with. They have really been listening to the customers and have made several improvements such as hiring a security company and making structural changes that provide preventative measures. I would definitely recommend this garage to my friends and coworkers that park in the neighborhood. read more

I worked with Al at Pearl Auto Park for the past year in securing parking for my mom when she came to visit. My apartment building did not have guest parking so Al was kind enough to allow my mom to park here at same rate offered to residents of my building. He was always professional and timely in hand delivering the permit each time. My mom always felt her car was safe and protected there. Highly recommend parking here for spending any length of time in the Pearl District. read more
