Gentleman I spoke to was polite and clear about the best time to bring the car in. Discovered some adjacent issues which they clearly highlighted in their inspection report (including pics) which I may fix another time, but otherwise mostly stuck to why I brought the car in. There was no problem or huffing and puffing around this, unlike other places I've been to in the past. Pricing was reasonable and they were honest about what everything should cost. Got everything done quicker than normal too. Definitely will use them again once my bucket of bolts gets screwed up again, as they were a pleasure to work with.

They did NOT do as they were told and said it was not reading and had to program it? Funny because it's on the cars display as rearing 0 PSI because it was in the cup holder. First of all, the mechanics are all SO friendly. I left my car for the inspection in the afternoon and picked it up in the evening (there were a few other cars ahead of me for inspection as well, so they estimated a 2-hour time frame for my car). I had my new license plates in the front seat of my car along with my registration sticker, all of which I was going to attach later that evening once I got my car back. When I went to pick it up, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the mechanic installed both license plates and properly adhered the stickers to my window. I was so relieved! I wasn't thrilled to have to unscrew the old plates and screw on the new ones, so I was so happy they did it for me. During inspection, the mechanic noted one small issue with my car, so he gave me an estimate for the service they would do to it. I'm absolutely going to bring my car to Lambros for this, and for any future motor vehicle related thing.

Needed back tires on my car so I called on Tuesday asking if…read moreI could bring it in on Thursday. $310 a tire, little higher than I'm used to but this shop is local to me so I wanted to use them and support the local businesses. The guy said no problem bring it in the morning, pick it up at 5. Whole day for 2 tires? But I was working half a day so I asked him if I could bring it in at 12, he said that's fine. He said he'd work with me, hence the extra star. Dropped the car off at 12:30, cops did a fake tag enforcement on the Whitestone so I was late because of the traffic. Guy said it's fine, leave the keys and return at 5PM to pick it up. About 4:20 I receive a call from Ryan telling me they couldn't manage to get to my car. That it wouldn't be ready. I told him that was f****** awful service. He replied well I could say you dropped it off at 12:30 and it's also hot outside, we booked 40 appointments...couldn't get to you. Then why not tell me that when I dropped the car off? Or before? Then he asked should I return the tires, you don't want them anymore correct? I didn't reply to that because it was a ridiculous question, what do I care? I cared about getting my rear tires done but they don't seem to care about that, I'm supposed to care what they do with the tires now? Really? Bit of a joke that convo was but I didn't find it funny, Especially now that I have to take a roadtrip for the holiday without the peace of mind I was excepting to have. Not the end of the world I guess but this was my experience at Yorktown Tire Auto Care.
