The guy said no problem bring it in the morning, pick it up at 5. Whole day for 2 tires? But I was working half a day so I asked him if I could bring it in at 12, he said that's fine. He said he'd work with me, hence the extra star. Dropped the car off at 12:30, cops did a fake tag enforcement on the Whitestone so I was late because of the traffic. Guy said it's fine, leave the keys and return at 5PM to pick it up. About 4:20 I receive a call from Ryan telling me they couldn't manage to get to my car. That it wouldn't be ready. I told him that was f****** awful service. He replied well I could say you dropped it off at 12:30 and it's also hot outside, we booked 40 appointments...couldn't get to you. Then why not tell me that when I dropped the car off? Or before? Then he asked should I return the tires, you don't want them anymore correct? I didn't reply to that because it was a ridiculous question, what do I care? I cared about getting my rear tires done but they don't seem to care about that, I'm supposed to care what they do with the tires now? Really? Bit of a joke that convo was but I didn't find it funny, Especially now that I have to take a roadtrip for the holiday without the peace of mind I was excepting to have. Not the end of the world I guess but this was my experience at Yorktown Tire Auto Care.

The man on the phone, who never identified themselves personally, said he'd have to call me back. Fair enough. 40 minutes later I get a call back from the same man who still does not give me their name and says "we are not going to jump you. Instead we'd are going to tow your car to our shop and replace the battery and alternator. When would you like to use your car again?" Me a bit stunned said "Oh, I need to use it today, that's why I asked for a jump in the first place." Again the unidentified man on the other end of the phone says "yeah we are not going to do that. So would you like us to bring it to our shop?" "No that's okay." I replied, "thanks anyways." He responds with a thank you and good bye. So they get 1 star for being polite and friendly but -4 stars for the naked up sell and refusing to do the job I asked. During the phone call I remembered my AAA road side assistance hadn't expired yet. Called up AAA and the car was back on the road within 20 minutes of me calling. I was able to get where I was going and hours later it started right back up again to take me home. All it needed was a jump and not a full reworking of the electrical system. So don't use this company instead pay for AAA road side assistance.

There was so much damage done and we were finally able to get it covered by them. Out of all the shops in the area my hubby chose this one due to their really high recommendation from our friends. We decided to give them a try and call them up for a quote for replacing some parts and doing a paint job on our car to fix some chips it had. I honestly didn't think it would look uniform, after all, there are so many shades of red out there. We were really worried about getting some crazy missmatchy stuff. We dropped the car off on a Monday and by Friday it was ready. We were a little nervous to go see it and to our surprise, the paint job was IMMACULATE. Very professional, communicative and precise. Usually guys are picky with their cars but in my case, I'm probably the pickiest one with ours LOL! I did NOT think they'd be able to pull this off and give us a squeaky clean almost brand new looking car back. We do already take care of our car but they made it look even more fabulous.
