First of all, I never knew I'd ever have so much to say about a simple oil change experience. But…read morehere I am happily writing a glowing review for one. Simply put: 10/10 I would recommend this shop to anyone, as well as plan to go back for future car service. With or without a coupon- it was well worth the 45 minute drive to me! I feel like similar to finding a doctor, dentist, hair stylist or something alike that you can happily put your trust into, It's really tough to find a shop that you can trust to respectfully and honestly work on your car and I'm so glad I found this shop! Further details: Admittedly, I initially opted for this location due to the unmatched coupon available within a reasonable amount of distance from me for a full synthetic oil change with tire rotation. When I called to confirm I spoke with the shop owner, Dave, who was both very helpful and accommodating. He was even able to fit me in the same morning. I got there and recognized the waiting space, as well as the bathrooms, was clean and well maintained. Then Dave came in to introduce himself, and he was equally as customer oriented and friendly as on the phone as well as trying to be as efficient as possible as well as pointing out to me where I can find water if I needed some. Additionally, I couldn't help but overhear a stressful situation another customer was having (that was no fault to the shop at all) but they were having a difficult time understanding how to fix the problem and seemingly insisting that it was a "group situation" for the shop- but surely he was very patient and mild as well as helpful as he could be in the situation. That kind of customer service speaks volumes to me- I'm very customer service oriented and really trust and appreciate that kind of unteachable quality in character. With oil changes, especially if/when using a coupon or something alike, I typically anticipate some hidden fees and/or a lot of pressure from shops to shake more money out of me. With this shop, this wasn't the case at all, I actually never realized how much that kind of thing stressed me out going into a simple oil change until I wasn't put in that situation.

They use original Tesla parts, and the results look flawless. The car looks like it just came from the factory. Neil, Marisa, and the rest of the team were amazing to work with. Their communication, attention to detail, and commitment to getting everything perfect made the entire process smooth and stress free. They kept me updated throughout the repair and showed how much pride they take in their work. If you need collision repair or Tesla work, this is the place to go. A true five star experience.

My insurance company's first claim payout was greater than $10k below the estimate to repair. My North State Custom agent , Neil C., was the consummate professional from start to finish in the process. As this was first major auto insurance claim, I was entirely clueless on the process, but he reassured me (most) insurance companies will come through once their adjusters come to the shop and consult with him and his colleagues. He was absolutely correct, aside from paying my deductible, I had no other out of pocket expense and my car looks brand new inside and out. Customer service is king these days, and these people could teach a masters class on this topic. Neil and his colleagues could not have been more accommodating in a an otherwise stressful and expensive repair. I'm very happy with the results. Hopefully I won't require their services again, but if it should happen, North State will be my first call. Thank you Neil and company.

The guy said no problem bring it in the morning, pick it up at 5. Whole day for 2 tires? But I was working half a day so I asked him if I could bring it in at 12, he said that's fine. He said he'd work with me, hence the extra star. Dropped the car off at 12:30, cops did a fake tag enforcement on the Whitestone so I was late because of the traffic. Guy said it's fine, leave the keys and return at 5PM to pick it up. About 4:20 I receive a call from Ryan telling me they couldn't manage to get to my car. That it wouldn't be ready. I told him that was f****** awful service. He replied well I could say you dropped it off at 12:30 and it's also hot outside, we booked 40 appointments...couldn't get to you. Then why not tell me that when I dropped the car off? Or before? Then he asked should I return the tires, you don't want them anymore correct? I didn't reply to that because it was a ridiculous question, what do I care? I cared about getting my rear tires done but they don't seem to care about that, I'm supposed to care what they do with the tires now? Really? Bit of a joke that convo was but I didn't find it funny, Especially now that I have to take a roadtrip for the holiday without the peace of mind I was excepting to have. Not the end of the world I guess but this was my experience at Yorktown Tire Auto Care.

Informed them that I intended to use the car to travel to Washington in the afternoon, and would need to take the car somewhere else if they were not able to work on it immediately. They agreed and said that they would get right to work, and that they would call if the problem were serious so that I could make alternate travel arrangements. Then, they proceeded to hold the car for the ENTIRE DAY without doing any work or calling. After calling several them several times to no answer (late in the afternoon, far too late to purchase a plane or train ticket), went back down to the station in person to find that they had done NOTHING. NO WORK WHATSOEVER. They had, however, hooked up the diagnostic machine (when, I don't know), and informed me that I had a serious transmission issue. Of course, they didn't bother to call to inform me of this, as they had promised, and they never intended to get my consent before beginning work. So my travel plans are ruined, just so I wouldn't have the chance to take the car to a competitor. Oh, and to top it off, they OVERCHARGED for the pittance of work they did do (the diagnosis) BY 600 PERCENT! $90 for a $15 procedure. Avoid this place like the plague or you may get scammed.
