Im a life long alaskan. I switched from A1 storage not secure and full of suit from asng. I switched to Arctic debar as was brand new. I have a 40ft paved infront of office. With brand new Stealth Cargo hauler. And a classic very clean. Or it was.. BMW 325 xi. I secured with brand new car cover closing in the doors and securing with a rope underneath. Theres no way it could blow off. And cameras are directly above. I just recieved notice 2 people broke in to yard or climbed fence and were going through all vehicals that were unlocked. And to come and look. I called atendent. And he said ive worked here 1 year and ive never seen a car cover on your car and its terably dirty. So now being out of state for the whole time. I gave to fly to alaska.make a claim and remove my vehicles . The owner said they are aware that people rent small units just to steal from the inside. Be forwarned.. and he said Anchorage is terable for theft. That is why I choose to use what was to be the most secure facility in Anchorage. So not true. This is terable and putts sever stress on me as well now I can only imagine what my car looks like now. And my belongings under my Cargo hauler may have been taken as well. ​ read more

This is a good location for anyone that lives on base or the east side/mountain view area. The fact that the storage is in a climate controlled facility is great. They have carts for use (if you can find them in the labyrinth of hallways). The facility itself is very clean, however, they do have some sort of rodents due to customers storing perishable food items and they have done what they can with setting bait traps to deter these critters. I would not blame this on the facility but the unresponsive gross hoarders who choose to store and keep anything they can. This place has great rates and specials including a 15% military discount! I would make sure you have renters insurance as the roof leaks in many areas, I'm really hoping they are going to resolve this issue soon. Arctic Storage at Park Lane - Self Storage Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

My girlfriend and I recently rented space at park lanes storage for our travel trailer. Our generator was stolen while we were out of town. We called park lanes and reported the theft as well as calling the authorities. Park lanes claimed they have a secure facility, however, none of their so-called security cameras recorded the thieves. To make matters worse, park lanes is non-communicative with any and all coorespondence regarding our loss. Screening our phone calls and when they do answer, they can't answer questions and say they'll have to call us back....which they never do. I strongly discourage anyone from renting space from these guys If you value your possessions. read more

I had a horrible experience here. They had a gate that did not work for close to a year and would end up locking the gate early. A few time I get there to put my motor home up and it was closed early. When I finally took my motor home out they would not prorate the month for me, so I paid for a whole month to only use it a few day into the month. My advice, find another place that is friendly and do good business. I do not recommend this place. read more
