I have real concerns about this facility's security…read more I have rented space here for about six months. Today, I entered my code to drive on to the grounds. A young driver attempted to follow me in without entering her own code. I stopped my car to impede her progress. She yelled from her car, not rudely, that she lived inside and asked me to drive on. I told her "I don't know that" and remained in place. She then backed up, successfully entered her own code, and drove in. Any serious security plan requires authorized users not to let anyone piggyback past a secure gate. Surely anyone who LIVES inside a storage facility would know this and respect that simple rule. Yet this happened. Given this loose attitude towards security and the general dilapidated condition of the units, I do not have confidence in Arctic Self Storage. I will find somewhere else to store my belongings.

This U-Haul location has multiple levels with elevators and carts available to use. All workers encountered were helpful and hardworking. The place was always being cleaned and looked after. I actually like the fact they are a new 8 month new U-Haul facility in town with newer trucks. New arrangements made, I was happy and it was ready for my pickup the next day when they switched my reservation to here from Old Seward. I actually liked their location better. The Dog Show and Football Team's loading and unloading went off on time and without a hitch thanks to U-Hauls Customer Service.
