I'm not a Wacoan, but my beloved grandmother is. Today would have been the 77th anniversary between…read moreher and my late grandfather. Thing is, I only just got out of the hospital myself yesterday and needed same-day delivery. The website said that tomorrow was the soonest available, so I waited until 9:03am to call. I was greeted over the phone by Diana, who provided such incredible service that at the end of our call I asked if she was the owner because of how well she represented the business. Anyone that knows me knows that I go to the beat of my own drum and have pretty stringent requirements when I have a vision. Well, my grandmother and I are each other's favorite people and I had a particular vision. I told Diana that some cute Baylor girl with perfect handwriting and adorable/clean drawing was to draw a cardinal on the front of the card and that I'd pay for time/tip/research/whatever. I'll not share my whole vision here, of course, but today's $135 arrangement took 24 minutes to describe, refine and confirm from start to finish and that's 100% on me. I haven't seen the arrangement even, but you'll notice from my reviews that once I've found my 5-star spot after shopping around that's where I like to anchor my business. Diana described herself as "just a part-time helper." From my perspective, you're an integral and empathetic hero who helped me communicate with $135 what will be received as $135,000 worth of love on a day when it was needed most. Thank you most sincerely. Side note: my grandmother only uses the best of the best (as do I). Twenty years ago when I heavily depended on her to tell me when to jump and how high, she used to say "Just order ___ some flowers from Baylor Flowers." Sic 'em! Edit: my grandmother was so appreciative and thought the world of the cardinal.

There is nothing I can do about it now, my card has already been charged, funeral is over. People order like this because it's convenient, this is my last time for "convenience" and I'm still unsure about the $11.00 card? My total bill was $227.30, obviously not a happy costumer and as far as I know, you don't know who the florist is when you order through the obituary.

Do not ever use Ava's florist or one of those janky suspect online florists. They completely ruined a special family moment that required flowers. Enter A&L florist. These guys saved the day! They were able to put together a last minute floral arrangement from our family and deliver it to my sister for her college graduation on the same day! These guys truly care! They even decided to deliver them a little later in the evening after they are closed because they were worried that the chocolates would melt if we left them on the front porch. They go above and beyond the call of duty. They truly care about the special occasion that deserves the beautiful flowers that they create! Hands down these guys are beyond awesome! Cannot thank them enough! Cannot praise them enough! What a wonderful company to do business with!

I am extremely disappointed not only with the floral arrangement I received, but especially with…read morehow this business handled my concerns afterward. I ordered the Stargazer Abound Deluxe arrangement as a recovery gift for someone hospitalized at Baylor Scott & White. Their website states that the arrangement pictured is the Standard size and that the Deluxe option includes additional flowers to enhance the bouquet. The arrangement delivered appeared significantly less full than even the Standard arrangement pictured. When I called to express my concern, I was repeatedly told that the flowers were fresh and expensive and was even told "this is not fast food." I understand that flowers are a natural product and substitutions may be necessary. I was not expecting every flower to be identical. My concern was that I paid for a Deluxe arrangement and what was delivered did not appear comparable in fullness or floral content to the Standard arrangement they advertise. I was told they could pick up the flowers and issue a refund. I specifically stated that I did NOT agree to having the flowers picked up. They had already been delivered to a hospitalized patient as a recovery gift, and I felt it would be inappropriate and embarrassing to take them away from the recipient. Despite my clearly declining that option, I later learned that the florist went to the hospital and retrieved the flowers anyway. After discovering that the flowers had been taken back, I called the business to request the refund. During that call, they hung up on me. At this point, this is no longer simply about being dissatisfied with a floral arrangement. A recovery gift was retrieved from a hospitalized recipient after I specifically said I did not agree to that resolution, and when I subsequently called regarding the refund, my call was ended by the business. What should have been a simple customer-service issue became an upsetting and embarrassing experience. I have retained photographs of the advertised Standard arrangement, the arrangement that was actually delivered, and documentation showing that I purchased the Deluxe option. I am sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision, particularly when ordering flowers for a loved one in the hospital.
