When I requested a fruit bowl with coffee instead of wine, she not only made the change but ensured the fruit was picked fresh that same day. I also made a small adjustment to the ZZ plant I sent to my sister, and it turned out beautifully--Chloe really goes the extra mile in everything she does. Even though I called 15 minutes before closing, she never rushed me and took her time to assist me. My experience with Ashley at Christell's Flowers was one of the strangest experiences I've had. My sister's husband, one of the kindest men I've ever known, passed away at a young age, leaving my equally kind sister completely devastated. On the anniversary of his passing, I wanted to surprise her with flowers and ordered some from Christell's. What happened then was a mistake made on the driver's part, opting to leave the flowers out in 92 degree weather without contacting my sister to see if/when she would be coming home. By the time she did get home 5 hours later, she found the flowers and they were dead. She called Christell's and was very, very upset, mostly because of the "trouble" I went to, which was no trouble at all. I am blessed to have a sister who is also my best friend and has done much more for me. If Ashley had simply taken responsibility and said "I am so sorry, those flowers should never have been left out in that intense heat" I would not be writing this today. Instead, Ashley called me to say that, she wasn't going to sugar coat it, my sister was awful and spoke to her very angrily. From there, it was an argument after about how they did, indeed, call her, how Ashley had proof they got her voicemail, etc, to alert her to the delivery. Why on earth would my sister lie about that? I asked Ashley was she aware that all this made the day much worse for my sister? She didn't seem to care one bit but did say they would send another vase of flowers. Well, ok, taking some responsibility. This could turn out to be lovely. And by the way, I have absolutely no animosity toward the driver. We're all human and everyone makes mistakes. So, when these flowers were due to arrive a couple of days later, she was waiting for their phone call. Nothing. I call Christell's and another woman answered. Very nice and professional. She said she believed they did call my sister and left a message. I called my sister back and she said I have been here all morning and my phone hasn't rung. I called Chistell's back and got Ashley. Holy cow. "We HAVE called her and left messages! I have proof we got her outgoing message, on and on like a machine gun. I said I would find out what was going on. I texted my sister and asked that she not answer her phone when I call so I may hear what they were hearing in her outgoing message. I don't call her without texting her first so I had never heard her outgoing message. It is AUTOMATED. Never does it say her name or phone number. They must have been calling another number. I called back and got Ashley to let her know. She said I was wrong, she DID leave messages. Good Lord. I said instead of writing a bad review, I wanted to talk to her. That when someone is experiencing the anniversary of the loss of their spouse, she may want to take it down a notch ~ she talks aggressively at a mile a minute ~ and be the one to make things better. Have compassion. Take responsibility. She told me to go ahead and write a bad review but she will rebut it and then she hung up on me. The last insult? The new bouquet they sent my sister was much smaller. And I had made sure, when ordering the first time, that there would be purple flowers, her husband's favorite color. The woman taking that initial order was wonderful. In this new bouquet, there were a couple of very small purple flowers, the rest were white and other colors. Were they trying to punish her? I have sent many flowers over the years to many people, and I have never encountered anything so unnecessarily antagonistic. I am sure Ashley is a good person and, even if she rebuts my review, I wish her only the best and hope she can learn from this. If she had just simply taken responsibility at the very beginning (we are so sorry your flowers were left to die in the sun) I would not be writing this at all. read more

i always go to Yelp and find florist locally even though I am located in Northern California ordering for my daughter in Killeen Texas. I have had so much success this way. I found Christell's then gave them a call. I forgot about the time change. They were already closed however still answering the phone for orders, thank you for that. I told the florist what colors I would like in the bouquet, the time I wanted them delivered (yes, they do charge for delivery). The flowers were delivered on time and my daughter loved them. I would recommend to any yelp users to go directly to the florist of where you want them delivered, they are fresh plus you have great success this way. read more

I got flowers sent to me from a friend out of state while I was at work when I arrived home nothing was there we called the next day because at that time they were closed. Long story short she said it was delivered and forwarded a picture of the flowers there. And went on to explain that The man that left it was scared of a 3 pound dog i went on to explain that I understand but that he could have left them on the stairs, anywhere else than the LEDGE of a high deck! She said that her manager wasn't in that she could call me back, & when they do she said that all they could do was give me a new vase I went on to explain at that point they might as well take the flowers back and to give me a refund but she said that she was unable to do that. Placed an order online for my sister who lives there. After placing my order I called to see when they would be able to deliver it so my sister would be home when they could. Ms. Tammy was very nice and helpful. I told her that I wanted it to be a surprise and she ensured me that it would be. They called to let me know they were out for delivery and a couple of minutes later my sister sent a picture of the beautiful flowers she had received. The picture on the site vs. the one my sister sent me differ but I'm very pleased with the communication and the service that I received being in a different city. twice now my wife was surprised with flowers from our kids who live out of state. the first order arrived with the flowers pretty but died almost the next day, we chalked that up to "it happens"." the next time , flowers for Mother's Day 2023, arrived. the foliage was already brown and falling off and the roses were brown in the center. we called The company as soon as we received them, spoke to Caitlyn, who asked for pictures, we sent the pictures yet she still didn't believe we knew dead flowers when we saw them. now we have to drive to the shop and get new flowers or a refund. horrible! read more

Best flower shop in town! I've used them for over 20 years, and they never disappoint. I've sent ivy plants and flower arrangements for funerals and they were always BEAUTIFUL - just as ordered, and even when I've asked them to "do as they would do" when I wasn't sure - it was always a lovely surprise! They put their all in what they do. When my father passed, they made the most lovely (and fresh!) carnation rosary for his open casket. I've repeatedly seen their impeccable work adorning the altar of a church, in funeral homes, and in other public places where the card reads, "Christell's". I ordered a birthday arrangement yesterday for a friend and we ended up getting the wrong arrangement delivered. Although, the first arrangement was indeed beautiful it wasn't the one that I had personally picked and I spoke with them. They were very courteous and professional the entire time and informed me where the mishap occurred. They acknowledged that the wrong arrangement was delivered and offered the option of a credit or a new arrangement to be made and delivered. I took the latter and even though it was just about closing time and the delivery was on post, they made the arrangement with care ensured that they were fresh lilies so they can bloom and it was another perfect arrangement, which definitely made my friends day. I grew up in Killeen and Christell's was the "go-to" florist. I moved away years ago and still rely on Christell's anytime I send flowers back home. The arrangements are always beautiful, often nicer than the online photos. They give good advice when I'm not sure what to send, and I'm very pleased with their bouquets when I ask them to use their discretion and design something with the best flowers available that day. They are reliable, speedy, and can usually fulfill same-day requests. (I recommend pre-ordering for holidays - they are popular for good reason.) I ordered flowers for my girl down in Texas and was told they were delivered and after further investigation they in fact were delivered to the right house but unfortunately they were broken on the side of the deck due to them being placed on top of the deck ledge. There were other options, steps, chair, or ground. I paid for these flowers and she didn't even get to enjoy them they were on the ground with no water due to vase breaking and it being sooo hot. They told us we could get a new vase but the flowers couldn't be saved not knowing they fell on side of deck. I'm very unpleased about the placement and this situation. My husband got me flowers and chocolates for my birthday. I was so excited, but the roses had brown spots upon delivery, and even though my husband requested chocolates without nuts as I am highly allergic, I was sent chocolate covered nuts!! I couldn't believe he spent over $80 for a bouquet that was lackluster and chocolate I couldn't even eat. Edit: I did call and leave a message for you to correct this, and my message was ignored, hence the review on Yelp. It's unfortunate that some others state that they were dissatisfied with the products that Christell's has put out, but in my case I have seen some unbelievable work. I never call a florist to compliment their work and I've received numerous bouquets in my life, but I just HAD to let them know how pleased I was. I received a dozen white roses yesterday and aside from getting compliments on them by everyone that walked into my office I was amazed at their beauty. I've never seen fresher flowers! They even smelled wonderful! I needed to order a floral arrangement for a memorial service being held with less than 24 hour notice. I phoned the flower shop and spoke with Tammy, I found her to be extremely so helpful, patient and professional. She described the arrangement she could create, and when I asked if she could send me a pic on the morning of the service, she did one better...she sent me the pic within a few hours of placing my order. My husband attempted to surprise me at work with flowers. What he didn't know was that we lock our doors after lunch on Fridays to catch up on paperwork. This left the delivery guy from Christell's knocking without being heard. He did call my cell phone, but I was in a meeting. Someone else phoned and was very pleasant about making new arrangements to redeliver the flowers to my home at a mutually convenient time. I had fully expected to either have to pick them up myself or wait for the delivery run the next day as it was already 5pm when they got in touch with me. Excellent customer service! Worst place to order high school mum if you are looking to get what you want and ordered. Wrong color, wrong placement of name. Cheaply made and way overpriced! Receipt states gold and they made it with bright yellow. Tiny letters, pipe cleaner for a decoration, do not recommend! Customer service was also disappointing. read more

Upon calling Christell's Flowers, they could not have been nicer and really took the time with me to make sure my order would be extra special. They definitely went above and beyond. I called Christell's expecting to ask a few questions and then call around to some other stores. Ashley and Tammy were so helpful and understanding I decided to go ahead and order from them. I was ordering a funeral arrangement from California. I asked a few questions and with their help, decided on a vase arrangement since I knew from experience this would be more likely to be taken home and enjoyed, rather than left at the cemetery. The sales person also encouraged me to get the vase rather than the standing wreath for the same reason. My budget was $150 since there were several friends contributing to the flowers, and the salesperson said we would have a 'spectacular' arrangement. However, I didn't hear any comments from my friend whose father passed away, so I can't say how the flowers looked. They actually talked me down from a more expensive arrangement which shows they aren't just thinking $dollar signs$! Minus one half star for a slight mistake with the names on the card. I gave a list of names, then called back and left a message adding a name and removing a name. They added the name, but didn't remove the other name. Not a big deal so I'll still round up to 5 stars. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I ordered a homecoming mum for my daughter's senior year at Early College High School on October 8, 2018. I was to pick it up October 31 at noon. I arrived at 10:00 on October 31 thinking to myself surely it was ready since it was not fresh flowers. NOPE! Had to go back after an hour because she was still working on it. I paid for this mum over 3 weeks ago. I guess they waited until the last minute since they already had my money. I paid $98.50 for a single GOLD and White homecoming mum. WOW! I know a lot of money, but I thought for sure they would make it beautiful. NOPE AGAIN! What I got was a YELLOW and WHITE homecoming mum cheaply made with tiny 1/2 inch letters and numbers. I calmly talk to the ladies about the COLOR problem. Her response was "sorry I don't know what to tell you." I guess customer satisfaction is NOT guaranteed at Christell's Flowers. read more

My mom is 87 and she wanted to send her youngest some flowers for her birthday. She looked at a lot of pictures of flower arrangements and asked me to try and get as close to the arrangement as I could. She gave me colors she liked and said she would love to have a hummingbird or/and a little butterfly in the arrangement. The girl who worked with me looked up the picture so she could see what mom wanted and then gave me ideas of what flowers would work. She was patient and helpful and I could hear sounds of activity and people working in a very busy enviroment but she didn't act impatient or sound upset at the time I took to place mom's order. I asked them to send me a picture to my phone and I am going to try to upload it here. (if no picture didn't work) I will use Christell's Flowers again and highly recommend them. I ordered an arragement though 1800flowers.com and it was sent through Christell's. When it was delivered it didn't look at all like the picture and was quite a bit smaller. I looked online again to compare what I received and confirmed that there was a signifiant difference. I contacted 1800flowers.com. They wery nice and apologetic. Next thing I know, the owner of Christell's is calling me and demanding to know what was wrong. When I told her, she got even angrier and told me she saw the arrangement before it was delivered and I as wrong. Another florist delivered the same arrangement and it was beautiful. The owner of Chrisell's asked about coming to the house and looking at the arrangement and I told her I was not inerested in a replacement from them - mainly because of her rude behavior and arguing with me. Over the last 30 years my famiy has ordered flowers many times from Christell's. I will never order from them again and I will tell everyone I know about what happened. Very poor customer service. I never asked for a replacement. A simple "I'm sorry" would have made me happy. read more
