Dropped in late on Valentine's Day and was treated exceptionally well. Although they were quite busy, these ladies busted their tails to throw together a last minute, custom bouquet of daisies, lilies, and irises. Savanah did an exceptional job making a beautiful arrangement and all of the ladies were very sweet to me. When a couple of the daisies started dropping petals after a couple of days, I called to ask about this, as it seemed strange for them to be dropping off so soon. They said to have my girlfriend bring them back and they'd do what they could to make her happy. The results were even better than the first bouquet. Great job ladies! read more

While I'm usually irked by companies who do not have an online presence, I realize Waco is a bit behind the times (outside of the Baylor bubbles, at least). I searched Google until I found a few florists relatively close to my intended delivery area, and I called around noon to ask about same-day residential delivery. The first two places I tried couldn't accommodate my request, despite operating less than one mile from the delivery address. Reed's, however, was able to help me - 3rd time's a charm, I guess! Reed's ordering process was super easy. I gave the employee the recipient's name, address and phone number, as well as a brief description of what I wanted (a sympathy arrangement, in this case) and a greeting for the card. I named my price, described the type of flowers I'd like on the arrangement, and called out my credit card info. I was also asked for my name and contact number so Reed's could notify me of any issues with payment or delivery. Within about two minutes I was done and confident that my order would be delivered the same afternoon. I would love to give Reed's 5 stars for ease alone, but I can't without at least having seen a picture of the arrangement that was delivered to my aunt's address. When I have ordered online from various florists in the past (typically in the Houston and Austin areas), the florists have been kind enough to email me a photo of what was delivered to the recipient. I will speak with the recipient directly within the next several days, and if she is happy with the arrangement I will gladly update my review to 5 stars. (Review was updated from 4 to 5 stars after hearing from the recipient that the flowers delivered to her were beautiful). read more

07/20/2021 Claims to want to make customers happy like Mr Reed apparently did however for a memorial when asked to correct the flowers to what was in the picture and what we ordered we got an eye roll and told from the employee that SHE was frustrated to correct their mistake. Very unprofessional, very disappointing, will not be back . UPDATE after response from owner on google reviews: the WHOLE point in my review is not centered around me being unhappy with my arrangement to be completely clear the issue with lack of customer service . I can completely understand being limited in product. I CAN NOT overlook or understand what warranted an eye roll , snarky comments, and unwillingness to make the customer happy. Obviously there are other products in the store and the lady that "helped" Just kept saying we wouldn't like whatever ever else she had without even offering to let us view other arrangements or asking what we thought would be a good substitute with what they had in store. Every bride's nightmare: going in to a florist to pick up a small order for a wedding only to find her order (placed weeks ago) had not been filled. Thankfully there was time to make up the 5 pieces. Sort of, in a hurried, thrown-together way. But...... By the next day the rosebuds were drying and brown on the tips. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Although the order was small, it was not cheap. Seriously?? Beautful arrangement delivered exactly to my mother's specifications--no reds, no carnations, just perfect! Also back in September my husband's 90 year old grandfather passed away. Through the funeral home we selected a local florist, Paul Farney, just because it was convenient to do so through the funeral home. Mr. Farney did not have the spray ready for the casket, no warning, thus it was bare. Reed's stepped up the next day and had a beautiful arrangement ready for the funeral. Thank you, thank you! Follow up on last review. I was told that it was her fault for leaving early. She was there in the parking lot at 4 pm. Just because you close at 5 pm doesn't mean they close at 5 pm. Who wants to have flowers delivered to there car on the way home? Then I'm told it's my fault for ordering online. This is where you should be cautious. It's there home page but ordering on line is placed through another company. You won't know that but you will be told that even though you order at 7.30 am they won't receive your order until 10.30. I was told I should have just called. Absolutely will not go through this run around again. It felt like I should be apologizing for bothe ring them. I wished I had experienced Aimee Z's satisfaction. My brother, sister and I did not have the same success. I had ordered through Woods Florist in Temple and they use Reeds in Waco. I guess Reeds thought since it was order in Temple, that we would never see it. However, the spray was for my Mother's service and guess what, we were there. It spray was hideous. The cost was over $200 with tax. We were given a reduction, however, the sales person was not nice at all and definitely not sympathetic. I will not use either florist again. read more

I paid $55 + tax & del chg for a sad arrangement that lasted 3 days. Reed's rep said flowers couldn't be replaced b/c my mom was not available the following day to return the original flowers. This was not a good experience. My boyfriend had been calling around to order flowers for me and chose this location (I have just moved here). I live outside of town so I drove in to pick them up. When I arrived there were several staff around. When I told them why I was there, I got confused looks. One woman went over to their glass case and pulled out a vase with a dozen red roses. These she handed to me. I thanked her and began to head out the door. As I got to the door she called me back, saying there was a card to go with it and she printed it out for me. I thought that was strange. If there wasn't a card already with the arrangement, how would you know it's mine? I sent a picture of them to my boyfriend to say thank you. He called me and said those weren't the flowers he had ordered. He had ordered different flowers and a different arrangement. He then phones the shop and is told that if I don't like them I can bring them back. Wait....so you didn't take the 2 or 3 minutes to actually look up the correct order, and instead chose to give me someone else's flowers? Do you realize how messed up that is? $65 for flowers that weren't even mine. We will not be giving this place our business moving forward. read more

I called Reed's hoping to order a bouquet from them to deliver to my girlfriend for our anniversary. I found an arrangement online that looked great, but I wanted to use a different vase then pictured. They were super understanding and made the arrangement in a different glass vase at no charge. They were also friendly and easy to work with on the phone. I ended up completing my order and paying through the phone call because it was so easy. My girlfriend received the flowers right on time, and she loved the arrangement. The picture she sent me was better than I expected. I was hesitant going in, since it's a small local shop with surprisingly affordable prices, but my experience with Reed's was great. They will have my business from now on! read more

I live out of town and have ordered flowers before for family, birthdays and mother's day online. They have ALWAYS been good to me and delivered beautiful arrangements in the past. I ordered flowers for my family member's funeral on March 21st. I called in a flower arrangement to be sent to the funeral home. To my surprised I received a plant with a pink bow on it. I specifically asked the lady on the phone for flowers and we even went over my color preference for the arrangement, so naturally I was surprised when I got a plant. Mistakes happen, I can deal with that. What I can't deal with was the level of un-professionalism in which the situation was handled. When I called back the older lady that took my call was nasty. She proceeded to raise her voice and repeatedly tell me I specifically asked for a plant. "I don't know what to tell you, you said you wanted a plant so that they can take home." I never once said that and obviously became upset when she kept telling me that because I NEVER once said it. After going back and forth about possibly sending the CORRECT arrangement (at my FULL expense) she hung up on me. I called back and a different lady answered the phone and said she had walked out of the flower shop. I cannot believe that is how they treated a grieving customer. read more
