As I walk in, the ladies peeked out of the cubicle and directed us to the people do the arrangement. and was nice and walked me over to the arrangement folks. It looked like most of their business is surrounding funeral. The florist was nice and allow me to talk about what was on my mind. The 3 stars is for the positive but not thrilling arrangement. It was $70 for the floral arrangements, and I was hoping for more pizazz.

Well it clearly did not! Not many flowers, all greenery. I have sent them 2 e-mails telling them that I was very disappointed with the flowers and they won't even contact me. I should have heeded the other reviews and chose another florist. Lesson learned, use a different florist if you want customer service and someone that will stand behind their product.

Within moments of leaving the store, they had sent me various font styles so that we could start putting the pieces together. Since I live in Connecticut, most of our interaction had to be via email, but Carol never faltered when I would ask her for more examples or for her to make a slight change here or there. Store owner refuses to wear a mask and has total disregard for the safety of his customers. He was…read morekind enough to contact the connecting store to ask the owner if I could shop her store, where I purchased many items. However, part of my order was not put in my bag after I paid for them. The store owner refused to call me back, and the owner of Homewreckers was able to retrieve the item for me. Upon picking them up, he verbally attacked me, stating I text him political messages - which never happened. He refused to let me show him my phone text messages. He continued to curse at me and would not give me my purchase without saying "please" to which I replied "please and thank you." He cursed at me, threatened me and stood outside the door glaring at me until I drove away. Other customers were in the store while he yelled at me. I never sent ANY political messages and to be accused of that is very offensive! This was so unexpected - I just arrived to pick up the item I purchased, only for him to make me beg him to get what I had already paid for, and what was not even his! Very unprofessional behavior! "You don't know who I am, you don't know who you are messing with!" He even threatened to call my boss! For what? To pick up items I purchased that he wouldn't return to me? All because he thought I sent a political message to him on a text message? He could not show me any such messages. No antique shop is worth all this! I will never be back!

Unlike so many charities, they never ask for more. They accept what is offered, are grateful, and then are blessedly silent. We will continue to support Samaritan House and the good work the volunteers there do. It's also a good place to shop for odds and ends!
