As I walk in, the ladies peeked out of the cubicle and directed us to the people do the arrangement. and was nice and walked me over to the arrangement folks. It looked like most of their business is surrounding funeral. The florist was nice and allow me to talk about what was on my mind. The 3 stars is for the positive but not thrilling arrangement. Once I was told my items were not ready I was going to leave but a sweet woman named Jasmine rushed to gather all my items & another fantastic employee named Angel rang me up so I wouldn't have to stand in the long line. She gave me a $20 gift card as a refund for the product and said their insurance company will reach out to me about getting my radio replaced once I sent in proof of damages and a quote to get it fixed! So the insurance company says there's nothing they can do except give me a $50 gift card. I have been shopping at BBW for years and I have a ton of their lotion and spray, I've always been told they are a great company & now I'm seeing that's only true if you spend money with them & not try to hold them accountable for their faulty products. She helped considerably on the wedding day and having her allowed us to enjoy the wedding more completely. Unfortunately there were some things that could have been better. There were small details missed that we had to instruct her of during the day. Some we didn't notice until it was too late. (Ie: one being the $200 bottle of champagne was not on ice with the cake, so our pictures of the cake have an empty punch bowl next to it. Bridal party table plates were left in a box so they were unsure where to sit.) I'm sure there were not many people that noticed. She was very helpful in packing up, but in the rush she packed some things on top of our leftover cake. In the end we really counted on her and she handled most of it. We were just a little disappointed in those missed details. Hopefully she will learn from this and make improvements in the future, as details in a wedding matter greatly.

Store owner refuses to wear a mask and has total disregard for the safety of his customers. He was…read morekind enough to contact the connecting store to ask the owner if I could shop her store, where I purchased many items. However, part of my order was not put in my bag after I paid for them. The store owner refused to call me back, and the owner of Homewreckers was able to retrieve the item for me. Upon picking them up, he verbally attacked me, stating I text him political messages - which never happened. He refused to let me show him my phone text messages. He continued to curse at me and would not give me my purchase without saying "please" to which I replied "please and thank you." He cursed at me, threatened me and stood outside the door glaring at me until I drove away. Other customers were in the store while he yelled at me. I never sent ANY political messages and to be accused of that is very offensive! This was so unexpected - I just arrived to pick up the item I purchased, only for him to make me beg him to get what I had already paid for, and what was not even his! Very unprofessional behavior! "You don't know who I am, you don't know who you are messing with!" He even threatened to call my boss! For what? To pick up items I purchased that he wouldn't return to me? All because he thought I sent a political message to him on a text message? He could not show me any such messages. No antique shop is worth all this! I will never be back!

Roughly two years ago I reviewed Samaritan House, and in the ensuing time, it has gotten even…read morebetter. This week I dropped off some donations, and was thanked profusely. Unlike so many charities, they never ask for more. They accept what is offered, are grateful, and then are blessedly silent. We will continue to support Samaritan House and the good work the volunteers there do. It's also a good place to shop for odds and ends!
