I was forced to explore doing business with the service department here since no one could be bothered at Brewster Ford. Someone answered and I was told to schedule online. Despite already being disgusted since I was 'speaking' with someone already who could have done that for me -- when I went online, there were no openings until the end of the following week. I originally went to a local paint shop (Auto Collision Center) for a estimate on some corrosion I found on the hood of my car. They inquired the details of my car, then told me to go to the dealership to see if it would still be covered under warranty. So I went to Park Ford and called the service department. The service manager Fernando?? asked the details of the car and the mileage. He looked it up, and said to call Ford directly and see what they want to do. he didn't even come out to look at the corrosion area. So I got home and called Ford directly. You know what they said.... Take it to the dealer so they can better access the corrosion. They will be able to tell you better. The rep said she could tell me generically what the warranties are but the dealership is better suited to diagnose the situation. I told the customer rep I just came from the dealer and they said to call Ford. The rep was puzzled and said she would transfer me to the nearest dealer that's NOT Park Ford for help. So i was connected to Brewster Ford and was told the only way to find out if it will be covered is to bring it in take pictures and submit it to ford. I can bring it in anytime between 9am and 4pm M-F.... Looks like somebody didn't want to do some paperwork at Park Ford. read more

Avoid Avoid Avoid using the service department here! Brought my car for inspection and what should have been a quick repair. The estimate was ridiculously high - it was ludicrous! I knew I would be paying a little extra for the expeditious service. (i needed the car asap) But the quote was 3 times higher than my local service center. When they told me the price of the repair - I said no thank you and they wouldn't release my car until I paid a $200 diagnostic fee. I feel completely taken advantage of. I will never go back and I will tell everyone who will listen to avoid this service department! read more

Best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle!!! Brad Stans was incredibly helpful and accommodating in our search for a 2020 explorer ST. He saved us a lot of money using several different programs Ford had to offer us and sent us all the documentation, (there's wasn't much to fill out at home). We came in with our 2 small kids, 2 and 4 and got us in and out in under an hour, everything done. No haggling required, he got us an amazing price that no other dealers could match. Anthony Anzalone did a great job of getting our lease sorted out quickly, the payment and sign up for the wheel and tire service just took a couple minutes. They weren't trying to get us to sign up for anything we didn't want or need. Super nice guys who really had our best interests in mind, took care of us very well. Brad took some extra time to show me a raptor in the lot and then also showed me how to use all the different settings on the explorer before we drove off. I have used these guys on multiple occasions to deal with warranty work on a couple vehicles and generally my experience was fine while I was there and speaking with someone in person. The same can not be said for my experiences over the phone. I have on multiple occasions called and been told there service dept was to busy to answer at the moment and would call me back. They will never call back.... When I call back myself and inevitably finally get connected with someone in service they are very combative and honestly just unprofessional with their communication. read more

I've used Park Ford twice. Both were bad experiences. First time, they changed the oil without asking, using non-synthetic, after I had just changed my oil with synthetic. Second time, brought the car in to flush coolant and replace my brakes. I asked for multi-point inspection. Despite making the appointment for the purpose of changing brakes, they weren't in stock. Had to come in a week later. Further, the check engine light was on when I received it back. Apparently that's not part of a multi-point inspection? Which by the way I was charged for! When I alerted them to this fact they checked the code to see what the problem was. They found the code, did not inspect the problem. They shut off the warning through the computer, and sent me on my way and told me not to worry about it. When I returned a week later for my brakes, they said that I now urgently needed a part to address the check engine light, however, they would also need to order that part, as it is also not in stock. One big inefficient waste of time. read more

This dealership had been the bane of my existence for a year and 3 months. They owned a BMW that they gave to an auction and then to a dealership where I bought it. Park ford was talking to me like i'm stupid because they needed verification that the car was sold to me because the title was lost in the mail and they were the only ones who can reissue it. they say "we've gotten no verification at all" yet the auction and the dealership i bought the car from say yes we tried 3 times and it got denied all 3 times. At the end, Ford did not explain to anyone that NY state has its own title verification process and that's the verification they're looking for. I had to threaten to come there to sort this out before Lenny, the manager put me in contact with their auction rep who i didn't know existed until a year and 3 months after i bought the car. She figured this out in 2 days and I got my title a week later. Ford had me thinking i'm crazy when eveyone got paid and i have a car i can't register. I did not like the tone they talked to me in when the reality is it was their lack of education to anyone involved about what exactly they needed so i can register this car. I will never recommend this dealership and ford cars have been horrible when i owned them. more reason to avoid ford at all costs. read more

Shopping for a car can be a very stressful process and a lot of dealers do nothing to help that. My parents bought an Explorer here in 2012 and we got a fantastic deal, there was very little pressure from the salesman Bob and the car still runs and looks great. The pre-paid maintenance plan was pretty reasonable from what I remember and they ended up getting it. Before purchasing my Lexus I was looking at a Mustang and the person I worked with was very patient and took the time to go over different financing options and browse through some inventory with me. He didn't really pressure me into buying and was very honest about the numbers and what they could offer. I ended up not getting the Mustang because I drove too many miles to do a lease and needed something with AWD. My sister is now the third person in my family to go car shopping here and ended up buying a Fusion for an excellent price. I can't remember what her salesperson's name was, but she reminded me of a cool mom haha. Again zero pressure to make a quick purchase, she was very patient and got my sister the best pricing she could. This is without a doubt one of the best dealers I've been too. read more

Add me to the list of dissatisfied Park Ford service department customers. "Huge waste of time" (as stated by another Yelp reviewer) would accurately describe my experience, as well. I scheduled an appointment online for my "baby" (1993 Ford Aerostar minivan w/only 57,000 miles) to have a routine service visit: change oil & transmission fluids, check brakes & drive belt, and give the vehicle the once-over to ensure that nothing major was in need of repair. I expressly listed the year & model of my vehicle along with the work to be performed when I scheduled the appointment at Park's website. Shortly thereafter, I received a phone call from a Park Ford service dept employee who was contacting me to confirm what kind of vehicle I was bringing in, the work to be performed, and to inform me that, due to the amount of work that I was requesting, the vehicle would have to be left w/them. No problem, I said, and we confirmed all of the information that I'd previously given them. I then waited a week for my appointment date. On the scheduled service date, I brought my vehicle to Park Ford, and had another person accompany me in her car (my ride home.) When we arrived, however, the employee at the service dept front desk - without so much as seeing the van - refused to honor the appointment, stating that my Ford was too old for Park Ford to service. My reply: "Your mechanics don't know how to change the oil on a 1993 van?" The employee's reply was that they might change the oil, but they didn't want to do anything else. Apparently, changing transmission fluid and checking drive belts and brakes on a 1993 Ford is just too complicated for the crack team at Park Ford. My reply was, "OK, that's fine, but why did you wait until now to tell me? You knew that I had a 1993 Ford when I made this appointment." The service dept employee proceeded to feign ignorance, pretending that they had been unaware of my vehicle's details until I arrived - a blatant lie since the vehicle information had been explicitly stated both at their website (when the appointment was scheduled) and by phone (when they called to confirm the appointment details.) Angry & disappointed that my and my ride's time had been wasted, I left and subsequently called/left a voicemail for Park Ford's service manager (Lenny.) In the voicemail, I requested a call back & an explanation as to why Park Ford had made me wait a week & waste a trip over there if they were never interested in servicing my Ford Aerostar. So far, no response has been received, and, based on my experience thus far, I'm not expecting the courtesy of a callback much less an explanation or apology. 2/22/21- Park Ford Mahopac, Do not trust this dealership very nice but very sneaky. The service manager told me I was a liar after I caught them charging me for a tire rotation that was not done. My vehicle had very noticeable damage to the front passenger side rim that was caused by me when i scraped it against some curbing. The rim that was damaged was still on the front passenger side of the vehicle where it was when I took the vehicle in to have the oil changed and the tires rotated Service manager looked me in my face and told me he observed the mechanic rotate the tires which was not true as the evidence being the same rim was still in the same spot on the vehicle calling me a liar. They may pull the wool over someone who doesn't know better but the damage damaged rim was the tell tale. I wonder how many people get suckered in at this dealership on work that is not done or perhaps not even needed. I did not even get an apology, I will not buy another Ford nor will I ever use a Ford dealership for anything. DO NOT USE or BUY anything at PARK FORD of MACHOPAC read more

I dealt with the owner Richie and sales consultant Bob Berkman. I also had dealings with the sales manager and business specialist. I went to the lot wanting either a new or recently used F-150 or SUV. They had a great inventory of new and used vehicles and while I was shown the vehicles I was given an education on the benefits and determinants of the various purchase decisions. I ended up going with a new 2016 F-150, as the factory rebates drive the price down to a point where it was competitive with a comparable used vehicle. The entire sales experience was tremendous - no pressure just great customer service in helping me get into the best vehicle for my needs. And oh, by the way, the truck is awesome! I purchased my 2008 Ford Edge from Park Ford in 2012 as a dealer car off a lease and have had lots of problems with it. Salesman Angelo Gubbay never disclosed that my car was in an accident. I only found out after I bought it and was looking through the Carfax papers. From then on, I have had continuous transmission problems, which I brought the car back several times for repair under the extended warranty I bought. I was told repeatedly that nothing was wrong, until about the 5th complaint when they said a major component of the tranny was bad and had to be replaced, which was done at no charge. The transmission is better but shifts very erratically to this day. Most recently, I needed a new control arm on my front suspension, which the staff replaced outside of warranty. Within the first day of driving, I felt and heard a lot of clatter from the front end and had to bring the car back. I was told the brand new control rod was not formed properly and had to be replaced, which was done. No apology was given from the staff, nor was the first part properly inspected or road-tested, or the defect would have been found. My time is valuable, and I resent all these repeat visits to Park Ford Service when things should be repaired properly the first time! The staff is friendly and helpful enough, but the service frankly stinks! I am likely going to contact Ford Corporate about my problems since Park Ford fulfills the old adage of "Fix Or Repair Daily" quite well. I wish there were a different Ford dealership I could use around here. Steer clear! read more
