As I was putting my iced coffee together, I was asked if I would like my coffee wrapped with suran wrap so it will stay together and not spill during the travel. I was not expecting it and was touched that the worker cared enough to help me out so that I can enjoy my drink with minimal spillage. What a nice way to make someone's day! For that I give them 5 stars and a big ! Don't see this type of care much anymore and am glad it still exists. Definitely will stop by again when in the neighborhood. Thanks for your service!

I ordered catering from Seaqua for a birthday party. I knew I wanted to order heroes & salads since…read moreit was a backyard party. The reason I decided on Seaqua was because I looked up their catering menu online and everything is right there for you. They are very transparent as to how many "feet" of sandwich you need for the number of guests your having, the price difference between with or without salads and all the options for heroes, salads & sides. When I made my decision as to what I was going to order, I went into the deli and was directed to the catering office and met Liz who was a total pleasure to deal with. She's friendly, professional and gets you in & out in no time at all. She knows what she's doing! I scheduled to delivery for Saturday between 2-2:30 and the food was dropped off promptly by a very polite & friendly delivery driver. The sandwiches were a big hit, they were delicious! The salads are some of the best in the deli game. Highly recommend if you're looking for deli food to go with Seaqua!!

Every bite was fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and truly delicious. It's clear that they prioritize quality ingredients and take pride in what they make. We're excited to come back again and explore the rest of the menu.

This has been my go to place for heros since I moved to Merrick over a decade ago. My favorite…read morecold sandwich is the All American with the works. It's a great combination of cold cuts that just synchronizes so well with the American cheese and oil, vinegar, spice concoction of the works. As for the hot sandwiches the eggplant parm has been my favorite. The eggplant is smooth and binds with the red sauce perfectly. Today they released a new contender for the best hot sandwich with a catchy name: The Rolling Roaster. It had roast beef soaked in Au jus enhanced with extra beef tallow blanketed with a layer of homemade cheese. The result was the juiciest roast beef with a deep beef flavor. The soft bread interior did a good job catching all of the excess juices as it was not as messy as I anticipated. Hope this stays on the regular menu as I will be adding it to my order rotation. My Hero is old school only accepting cash or checks. Along with that comes the great service and charm that makes this place what it is. In recent years they have made an improvement in the parking situation. Now you can park in the carvel lot next door.

The sandwich was the same size as always and was decently filled, though there seemed to me more ham and less roast beef or turkey than normal. The most glaring part was the taste overall - the cold cuts and cheese didn't quite taste the same, but most glaringly, the mayo did not taste like Admiration Heavy Mayo, which has always kind of what made their sandwiches really pop. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but the last time I was there, the chicken club also had some issues.
