    Good pricing and great customer service. I bought a Weber grill. They assembled it and delivered it for free. Pretty impressive.

The level of customer service, lack of communication, and complete failure to take accountability is unacceptable for a company of Lowe's reputation. Today at approximately 12:00 PM, I ordered a Frigidaire Gallery microwave from your Orland Park store specifically because it showed in stock and available for same-day in-store pickup within three hours. The reason I selected this exact model, this specific store, and placed the order when I did was because I had my contractor at my home today, prepared to install the microwave at no additional labor charge. Timing was critical, and Lowe's represented that the product was available for pickup today. After receiving my order confirmation, I heard absolutely nothing. By 4:15 PM--more than four hours after placing the order--I still had not received any updates, so I called the store. I then spent approximately 30 minutes on hold before anyone in Customer Service answered the phone. I was informed that an employee had attempted to locate the microwave earlier in the day but was unable to find it. Rather than notifying me immediately so I could make other arrangements, the employee allegedly left a note for a manager to investigate. That is where everything stopped. No one contacted me. No one followed up. No one updated my order. No one took ownership of the situation. Had someone simply informed me when the issue was first discovered, I could have purchased another microwave, selected a different model, or gone to another retailer that could fulfill my order today. Instead, Lowe's wasted my entire afternoon while my contractor waited, ultimately costing me the opportunity to have the microwave installed at no additional charge. I then requested to speak with a manager and was told the manager was in a meeting and would return my call. That call never came. Approximately an hour and a half later, after still hearing nothing, I had to call the store again, where I waited on hold for another 20 minutes. I once again requested a manager and eventually spoke with someone identifying herself as "Evie" (or "Ezie"), who claimed to be the manager. Rather than apologizing or taking responsibility, she attempted to shift the blame onto me by claiming my payment had never processed and that this was why the order could not be fulfilled. That explanation is simply false. I paid using Apple Pay. The charge immediately appeared in my Apple Wallet, and it also appears on the Citi credit card linked to my Apple Pay account. Furthermore, Lowe's online ordering system does not allow customers to complete an order without payment authorization. Attempting to suggest this was somehow a payment issue was both inaccurate and insulting. It appeared to be nothing more than an attempt to deflect responsibility for what was clearly an inventory management and communication failure. Only after this second phone call--approximately 6 1/2 hours after placing my order--did I finally receive an email indicating there was an issue with the order. That notification should have been sent hours earlier, when the product could not be located. Because of Lowe's failures, I have now lost the opportunity to have my microwave professionally installed at no cost. I will now have to schedule another installation appointment and incur additional labor expenses that I would not have otherwise had to pay. This entire situation was completely avoidable. What is most frustrating is not simply that the product could not be located. Inventory discrepancies happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication, the failure to notify me in a timely manner, the failure of management to return my call as promised, the excessive hold times, and the attempt to blame the customer instead of acknowledging the store's mistakes. I expect Lowe's to take responsibility for the costs your failures have created. Specifically, I am requesting that Lowe's either: -Arrange for professional installation at no additional cost to me, or -Reimburse me for the installation expense that I will now be forced to incur solely because your store failed to communicate the issue when it first arose. I would also appreciate an explanation as to why: -My order remained untouched for over six hours without any customer notification. -A manager failed to return my call after promising to do so. -I was given conflicting explanations regarding the status of my order. -I had to spend nearly an hour total on hold simply trying to obtain basic information about an order that should have been ready hours earlier. This experience has been one of the most frustrating retail interactions I have had in years. Lowe's did not simply inconvenience me--you cost me time, money, and the opportunity to complete my home project as planned.

    They have bare minimum of selections. No matter what you're looking for it has only a few options…read moreof it. The website and app have more on it than the store does- generally a good mix but not here. Everyone is online only. The aisles and main walkway in front of aisles have stairs or displays blocking everything and it seems so clustered and no set up. I have only encountered friendly employees which is a plus. There comes a time where you have so many employees standing around yet self check out at the worst type of store for that. No point in that. But there comes a time when I'm looking at everything in the aisle and employees ask me 3-4x if I need help and keep walking by like I'm shoplifting and they're babysitting me... Speaking of- we couldn't feel/ look at the wire we were looking for because it was all chained up with anti theft locks. We didn't bother to ask for assistance because it was so expensive here. My bf wanted to get it elsewhere since we will also have to go elsewhere since they had zero closet brackets that work with a rod... We usually enjoy the Halloween and Christmas decorations up seasonally here. There was a water spill in the main aisle walk way leaving greenhouse back into store that never got cleaned up and had a sign saying be careful for an hour and still there when we left. Bathrooms are clean. Parking lot is big enough. Some handicap parking spots. The greenhouse did have a lot of options with employees available to assist. The indoor plants section was very very tight and small and you cannot push a cart around there unless you're walking straight back to the greenhouse. We watching multiple people bring dogs with to the greenhouse on leashes and also watched them pee right on the ferns sitting on the ground so that's great....

My brother, the Good Samaritan he has always been shared what happened. So I went to ace hardware to pick up pool stuff. I get there and see this gentleman helping a young lady with her flat tire. So me being Me I said you need help and he said no I should be okay. I got what I needed and came back out. He was still working on changing her tire. So I started helping him. We got the tire off and the car falls to the floor because those cheapy Jacks the car companies give you are garbage. So Brian the guy originally trying to help goes into ACE and asks if we can borrow those hydraulic Jack's for 5 min. Just to lift the car and put the tire on. They told him NO. Mind you this young lady went into AcE and asked if they could make a call or help her with the tire and they told her no too. So I go into the store and said do you sell car Jack's. He said yes and pointed me and told me which one I wanted. I told him and we went to the register and the worker said. Fyi the manager is on my ear piece telling me you can't return this. I told him don't worry I will never shop here again. Take a wild guess the color of the young lady skin was that just needed to get home after working at Walmart. Spent 100 bucks but got that young lady home. She was thankful and apologetic. Had tears in her eyes. Even said I get paid on the 21st and will send you the money. I Said no, I hope you realize the lord put this gentleman and me in your life to make sure you got.back home safe. We will never shop at ACE. Time for some diversity training at the ACE store.
