Had the absolute best time here!! Love that you can go with your dog or solo if you don't have a dog and can still meet a bunch of cute puppies! The dogs were all so friendly when I was here! We also got some tasty holiday cocktails and pizza from Lalas!

As a new dog parent, Park 9 has been the best place we've found to bring our new puppy! We waited until she was 4 months old and fully vaccinated to sign up per rules, the registration process on their website was so easy. The staff working there is great from the check in person to the bartenders to the "park rangers" who make sure all the dogs are behaving and cleaning up after any accidents. There's on leash and off leash areas which is nice to have the option! The off leash area is full of tables, chairs, and obstacles and opens up to a small outdoor area. I've been on Mondays and Thursdays and they both were pretty busy with at least 20-30 dogs playing! It seems like a lot of people get the membership and go frequently but we just do day passes which is very reasonably priced. I would be careful where you choose to sit because dogs tend to pee where ever they want and jump on the picnic tables so be careful if you order a drink! Overall, park 9 is AWESOME. Our dog loves it so much and we can't wait to go back for their fun events. They have a full calendar with "breed nights", puppy yoga, special events, and trivia.

A great place to hang out without your pup. The staff are really nice and helpful. They keep the area clean as best as they can and monitor the dogs very well if they get too rowdy. I love that they have an indoor and outdoor section. The drinks are great and fairly priced. Trivia nights are on Thursdays between 7:30-9:30pm and they also have breed meet-ups.

A great place for people and dogs alike! We've been here quite a few times and even had a membership at one point to bring our pup over to play. The place has a great atmosphere with a huge space for dogs as well as people to sit and talk. There is a cover for folks who bring dogs in, but if you're in the mood to come by just to hang out, that's free! They have a space for off-leash pups and another one on the outskirts where you can eat and keep your dog leashed if you wish. The drinks are all fairly priced and pretty tasty as well. They also have a daycare service which is great with uploading pictures and giving report cards after picking our dog up - we absolutely love sending our pup over! The staff are super friendly and they do a great job at keeping the space clean (or as clean as it can be, honestly). It can get rowdy depending on the day and what dogs are there, but we have a great experience everytime and our dog is pooped afterwards without fail. Great spot to take your dog and just hang out or fantastic daycare service!

This bar is fabulous. I know it is not for every dog owner or every dog but my dog loved it here and so do I. They have please to watch your dogs and clean up after them and they do a very good job keeping all the dogs safe and happy. It can get extremely busy here on some nights and they do a great job keeping up with everyone. I love this drinks they're all tasty and fun and have silly dog names. The food trucks are always good and definitely make sure to check out their calendar! They always have such fun events going on like speed dating and different breed meetups! Always a fun night out with your dog.

One thing got to say is this place is actually pretty big inside. It also has an outdoor patio when you enter the first thing you notice is actually the dog smell. I'm talking about lots of dogs so if you're allergic or if you don't enjoy the dog smell then I would reconsider Coming here when you go in initially, the dog area will be gated off so you can actually enjoy your drink and food on one side but once you get into detox section, you're not allowed any food for obvious reasons. These are two layered gates, so you open one close and then you open another to help prevent dog escapes. There's actually a bar that loops around so you can order. The bartenders were nice and the drink selection was actually pretty good. We got the whiskey peanut butter shot and it was excellent. We got some old-fashioned and enjoyed watching the dogs play and interact with one another. Please note that dogs climb onto the picnic table so be careful of leaving a drinks behind, but also the ones we saw peed on the picnic table. They do have staff that helps monitor dogs and breaks up fights or cleans up after them. I found this place to be very relaxing for dog watching and enjoying few drinks. Prices are reasonable. Overall, even if you don't have a dog like me, you can just hang out with drinks. Fun times.

Park-9 Dog Bar honestly seemed overrated to me when I first learned about it, but I finally visited and had a blast, and I didn't even need a dog! I came with my friends and their dog on a Friday night and it was pretty lively. The space is divided into the large off-leash area where you can get drinks, and leashed areas where you can eat food. There are attendants around to break up any fights, and cleaning supplies for owners to clean up any accidents. There's a fee for dogs to enter, but none if you come without a dog. The drinks menu is large, with a wide variety of options. I appreciated how many mocktails they offered, and enjoyed the Sit Stay. There are a bunch of tables and lounge chairs for people to sit, but people also stood around. You obviously can't expect how the dogs will act when you're there, but there were a bunch of friendly dogs that would come up and say hi. I would definitely come back again, with or without my friends and their dog.

We love to visit here with our cavie. They have breed nights for cavie meet ups. I like the drinks. The dogs all get along and if any get rowdy they have friendly staff to step in. I went here for a puppy yoga a month ago and it was lots of fun. They usually have fun events and it's a great place to meet people and pups if you have a dog or not.

Dog owners rejoice! Park 9 is a chill place to drink, eat, and hang out with a bunch of dogs! They have a small parking lot in the front that fills up quickly. Afterwards it's street parking which can be tough when it's busy. They have ALOT of information on their website so check it out before going and register your dog ahead of time! You don't need a dog for entry, but if you bring your dog it needs to be vaccinated, fixed, and there is an entry fee (but not for humans). There is also an unlimited pass available if you think you'll be here often. There are two bars inside, one immediately when you walk in and the other by the indoor dog park. There are workers that watch the dogs to make sure no one gets too rowdy and they clean up after accidents. There is an area with picnic table to enjoy food. There is a main area for the dogs to mingle and also a small separate area for small dogs. Lastly, there is an outdoor patio to chill. They have live music on Fridays and have meet ups for owners with certain breeds of dogs on specific days. They don't serve any food inhouse, instead you can order pizza delivery or eat at the food truck of the day. I recommend ordering pizza from Main Street Pizza, which is their main pizza delivery partner. Zuzu Momo is also a good food truck to order from. I don't recommend the North American Catering Food Truck as last time their food was expensive and generic to the point where McDonald's would've been better. The drinks were okay, but I thought the selection was small and the drinks weren't that strong. Staff was nice and the crowd was chill. I pretty much petted every dog I saw and talked to a bunch of the owners.

As someone who moved from Charlotte, NC where there are an abundance of dog friendly restaurants and dog bars, I was absolutely thrilled to have one open up in my home state. It has a well monitored, safe off leash dog environment. My pups have been able to socialize with other dogs and humans! One of the best parts is that all of the staff make an effort to get to know the dogs and owners. They've created an inviting and inclusive community with breed meetups, weekly trivia and seasonal special events like prom, puppy bowl, etc. I love that they support local shelters and other small businesses. Seeing a small business support other forms of small businesses is a big reason I think they've had such success in their journey. The drink selection is plentiful with both alcoholic and non alcoholic options! The bartenders are all great at crafting drinks to any request. The barkside of the moon is a cocktail version of an espresso martini and the seasonal drew Carey is also so refreshing. Registering pups is super simple and would strongly recommend doing so before your initial visit. I recommend sending vaccine records ahead of time & bringing a copy when you first visit just to make check in extra quick.

Just adding to my review that they host a great trivia as well as themed events. There is a BBQ food truck that serves delicious food. The bartenders are all very chill. Highly recommend!

Great bar, with a side of barking! A group of friends (5 humans, 1 dog) came on a Tuesday evening. If you're bringing a pup, make sure to register them online before showing up (you need to provide proof of vaccines, flea/tick, etc.). Cover is $15 for dogs (free for people). If you see yourself becoming a regular, they also offer membership & daycare options. Park-9 is conveniently located off of the Northern Strand trail, so it's an easy walk/bike from Malden Center. There are also some parking spaces available in front (not a ton though). They only opened about a week ago, so the bartenders were still getting up to speed, but all of the staff we encountered - including the "Park Rangers" who monitor the dogs and break up any fights - were very friendly. The drink menu has a great variety of cocktails (with dog-themed names, of course), wine, beer, and NA options. I got the Double Dog Dare, which is a spicy marg with ghost pepper tequila and tajin rim. Yum! I then switched over to a Revolution Road NE IPA on draft, mostly because I wanted to take pics of the glass with the bar's logo haha.. but the beer was good too! The glasses are all plastic, for everyone's safety. The menu also has doggie offerings, including a taco treat that my friend got, which looked super cute but was a bit tough for her dog to eat. They had the Celtics game playing over the bar, and overall it's a fun, casual vibe. It can get loud when all of the dogs decide to bark at once, so just be prepared for that. And also be prepared to pet and possibly get jumped on by a variety of friendly, very excited dogs. Honestly, I had the best time hanging with the dog I know as well as meeting new dogs, and many of the other owners were super open to chatting. Park-9 is an awesome concept and a unique vibe. I'm PAWsitively going to hang out there again!

This is my first time here and I am very impressed! When I heard, there is a dog bar opening up just outside of Boston I immediately assumed it would be swarmed with people and dogs and be chaos. But I was pleasantly surprised that I was checked in at the door, they verify that my dog had been pre-registered, and gave me the rundown for how the place worked. As soon as we got inside, I saw what is your spark at me quickly went to the Offleash area. I was pleasantly surprised about how clean it was, and how relaxed it was at the same time. All people and owners seem to be pretty in tune with how their dogs were and on top of that Park 9 has attendants that walk around and make sure that the whole area stays clean. With easy access to the bar from inside the Offleash area to also being able to easily go in and outside this place is hands-down, my favorite place to take my dog and hang out with a beer. We will definitely become regulars! I just wish I lived close enough for this to be Buddy's doggy daycare.

The staff is top tier friendly and ridiculously attentive, and the whole place just has this vibe where it genuinely feels like family, both the staff and the patrons make you feel at home in a way I've honestly never experienced at any other bar. And it's not just a bar either, on the other side you've got "Franny's," set up like a classic diner with black and white checkerboard floors and those small barstools right by the grill where you can sit and watch them cook breakfast. I've probably worked my way through just about the entire menu, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and I've never once been disappointed, whether it's pizza, calzones, steak tips, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, homemade soups, or their rotating specials, everything is consistently excellent. The drinks are just as good, they'll make basically anything you ask for without hesitation. They've also got karaoke every Saturday night, Trivia on Thursday nights, TouchTunes for music, darts, multiple TVs for watching sports, Keno, and an ATM, which to me checks all the boxes for a local bar. Between the staff, the camaraderie, the quality of the food, and the drinks, you really can't go wrong, and now they've added an incredible dessert menu that I haven't been able to stay away from either. From the second I walked in, I knew this place was different, and it really is that good.
