They have someone usually available as you xome in to help you find what you are looking for. Great value boots that last forever and wider than most other store bought boots for the greatest value, price and efficiency possible. Truly an asset to the community for the working class and for those who like to take in the outdoors.

I had a plane to catch, so I breezed into the store (after taking a rainy photo for Yelp) and looked around for women's shoes. My initial scan showed me a handsome "older gent" (egads, maybe 55?) was leaning on his forearms against one of the shelves. The Marlboro Cowboy with a Sam Elliot on his upper lip, eyed me. (Inside, I thought, "hm, maybe he's wondering what a woman is doing in a store that sells workboots?") Then he said, "Can I help you with something?" And yes, yes, he could! He actually paid attention to what I said (black only, no copper rivets) and I chose two pairs of shoes in the space of four minutes ($59 and $89). When he moved around behind the cash register to ring me up, his colleagues (two other gents sans fancy facial hair) asked me, "How'd he do?" to which I responded with a shoulder shrug and a "meh" keeping in tradition with the reserve of New Hampshah. The gents smiled and mustache said, "they are trying to get rid of me because I'm too old." To this I replied, "they are just jealous because they can't grow a mustache like yours." (Heck, I'm a woman and I'm jealous!) Love the shoes. Love the stache. I'll be back next time I'm driving a pumpkin. And maybe... it'll be happily ever after.

Everything is nicely organized and prices are fair! dresses, sweaters, denim, purses, etc. I didnt end up getting anything. the employee that assisted me noticed I tried something on that looked nice on... so she put it on hold for me. :-) From reading around, this place is the former saks thrift ave.... but had to change the name after 9 years when the lawyers came knocking but no harm to either parties :-) stop in there if youre in the area and if you like fashion and is frugal!

Great little consignment ship that turns over a lot of merchandise. I have both purchased here and…read moreconsigned things. Consigning items is VERY easy (you literally just drop by). I do notice that the young college-age employees are much pickier than the owner on what they choose, probably because they have to account for the items they take in. Sometimes you can find a real steal, or at least something a little different. I always seem to gravitate towards the expensive stuff - the $50-100 items - but those are usually the prices for designer name things that go for much more. I would say $100 is usually the highest one sees, with most stuff falling between $10-$30. One small little thing, I consigned a dry-clean-only skirt once and they must have washed it and therefore it shrunk considerably when I visited again a few weeks later. I haven't brought it up, but I doubt it will sell now. It just means we both lost out on money.
