Much better quality and better prices than the particleboard stuff that even places like Anthropologie sell now. They always have a gorgeous selection of art and especially mirrors, pieces by local artists, plus soaps, lotion, and packaged food and drink mixes from local New Hampshire artisans. Also a great mix of clothing, jewelry, and gifts. I've gotten some beautiful and one of a kind lamps, glassware, and big pieces of furniture here. They're constantly bringing in new inventory so it's always exciting to visit and see what's new.

They were offered $500.00 for a carpet that had been appraised at $18,000.00 a few years ago. They have been a repected dealer in the Monadnock (NH) region for many years. This action makes me wonder what has happened to their business practices and how many other elderly clients have they treated this poorly. beware and do your homework before doing business with them.

I called Syd's, without hope of any remedy. The rep explained that we could make a "comfort swap" and advised us to wait until the following month when the brand was going on sale. The logistics manager Dean showed me that its paperwork shows that it used to be a display in the old, closed down Ethan Allen that is literally over the town line on the street I live on. I guess it wanted to come home. The designer Verlie was very nice to me and didn't make me feel like a scavenger for discount shopping. The Ethan Allen company could learn a lot from this location.

It did not come with leather pillows, as we were told by our sales lady that it would, so the owner made it right by having four fabric pillows of our choice made for us. Three months after having the sofa, the white leather on one of the cushions started wearing away. I emailed the owner, and he is promptly replacing the entire cushion at no charge. I just hope that we do not notice this issue on other pieces of the sofas, as we did not purchase the extended warranty. Comfy, handsome furniture. I enjoyed shopping here and the customer service is tremendous. I will buy fro here again, although the prices are high.

Candles are really expensive and last like 30 minutes. Prices are high but not necessarily for an art store.
