Shopping at a T J Maxx is always something of a hit or miss proposition. This time it was a hit. We found the store well stocked with clothing and we wound up buying several dresses, a sweater, a winter jacket, shirts, sweat pants, a belt and probably something else I've since forgotten. The prices all were attractively discounted. We thought the customer service staff was friendly and knew their stuff. We enjoyed some good conversation with them and got through checkout with no issues. Not much at all to complain about here, and we hope your visit goes as well. read more

We tend to stop here when we are in the Keene area. Overall, a good selection of items and good prices. I've stumbled upon a few good deals here for techie stuff like phone accessories. Last time, I found some nice golf shirts at a good price. In the fall and winter, they'll have some ski/snowboard gear in stock...mainly jackets, shells and pants. They will at times have hats and base layers. I've seen some really good deals on ski/board gear here. Just know your prices first. Staff has always been friendly and the lines move at a good pace. read more

While in Keene we decided to stop in at this T.J.Maxx location to look for some jewelry for our family members. When we walked into the store we were excited to see their large jewelry counter. As we looked through their items the polite employee helped us find a few different necklace options for our gifts. In the end we found a nice necklace which looks great. The rest of the store was clean and well organized. This store is much smaller than other locations, but overall the selection was just as good or better. They had a ton of home good items on sale. The staff here was phenomenal and made sure to take care of us throughout out shopping experience and were willing to answer all questions. In the end we enjoyed shopping here and will definitely be back in the future. read more

I used to get fabulous buys at TJs on name brand clothing and shoes . What has happened??! The clothing for the most part is cheaply made, and unattractive . Hard to choose this as the first place to shop! read more

I come here often and I like it. I come here in every situation; school, work, parties, pets, home, etc. My only critique is that sometimes the staff is a little rude; mostly the older generation. Jewelry desk can be quite rude at times but when Brenna is working it, which ive seen is usually to cover breaks, she is very nice. Alexa is also one of the nicest cashiers ever. This store almost always has amazing stuff and is organized nicely. read more

Customer service is the only thing your job really entails. To the girl who is running registered number 7 at 4 p.m. on September 1st 2018 has horrible customer service I simply ask to have some colognes opened up and she said that it was not their policy so be it but don't have the smart ass back and forth with your co-worker in front of me. Could have done without that look a bother going there because this is the only freaking one around or outside go to Nashua but that's just too far I guess I'll have to deal with the bad customer service read more

I hate the parking lot for starters, always falling apart. However, I will not hold that against them. Sometimes they people that check you out are very weird, sometimes very friendly. . Sometimes they have a lot of selection sometimes none, really depends. Not a ton of seasonal left over. Sales are really good when you can find them sometimes there is stuff put in the sale stuff that looks the same that isn't for sale. That can be confusing and embarassing at the registers, it is happened to me enough that i don't think it is an accident. read more

I usually love TJ Max. Maybe it's just the Keene store, but I've had the worst customer service this week. I received a gift card for Christmas and went to shop the sales. I tried to ask if they could check the price for a coat that was in the clearance section. They (and by they I mean the cashier and another who just chimed in without being asked) flat out and rudely refused to check saying it just wasn't on clearance and, I quote "people just love to put things where they don't belong". I tried to tell them that there were at least 4 other of the same jackets on the clearance rack so it can't just be that all of them were put there by mistake. They still refused to help so I walked out. I came back the next day as there was something there that I wanted. While shopping I saw 4 sets of small mugs on the Christmas clearance table saying that the 50% would be taken off at the register. When I got to the register again they were apparently not included, but 4 sets magically appeared on a clearance table that weren't legitimately clearance. So I decided to just grab one of the two I had picked out. I showed the cashier which one. He then looked at me and said "so which one would you like". It's not like I was speaking Russian. It is very apparent that they do not care enough to train their staff or organize their store. read more

As TJ Maxx's go, I prefer the one on 101A in Nashua, but this one is closer. For some reason I just rarely find anything here. I understand that the stock is not going to be identical but I always find something at the one in Nashua but rarely here. This location seems smaller & I feel like the selection is a lot more picked over. Whether that's just because the store is smaller I have no idea. When I come here looking for something specific like a cardigan or a dress for a wedding rehearsal, it always takes entirely too long looking through clothes that most people would look at & say to themselves "who would even look good in that??", but whenever I'm just browsing I have better luck. Kids clothes are mostly Izod, Ralph Lauren, & similar expensive brands. Even the off-season clearance kids clothes are too expensive in my opinion. For one dressy item it's not bad, but I certainly would not outfit my children from here. There's usually a few Melissa & Doug or even Green Toys in the toy area, & if you're not looking for anything specific the kids book section is good too. They do NOT carry kids shoes, even though they carry kids clothes, toys, outerwear, books, etc. Haven't figured out that one yet. read more
