We came here for Mother's Day brunch earlier this year and had an excellent time. The Paris Room is a cool little gem tucked away in Chagrin Falls. The entrance is accessible from the parking lot (think the other side of the building - not the main drag of Downtown Chagrin Falls). We had a nice time albeit a few parts of our meal were a little off. For the expensive price of the multi-course Mother's Day meal, parts of the meal could have been elevated. The simple salad was lettuce on a plate. The entrees had raw (maybe slightly sauteed) plain veggies and plain rice. While everything was colorful, it was a lot of plain food. I prefer seasoning, sauce or a bit more flavor. The highlight of the meal was really the tea service and dessert. This was done well and next time we'd come back specifically for dessert! We loved the beautiful tea set-up and the delicious selection of dessert. At the end of the meal, they gave all the mothers a yellow rose, which was a nice touch! If you can, sit on the seasonal patio, as the inside doesn't have many windows and can lend itself to be dark. The staff is very friendly and it is so appreciated that you can make reservations online!

Hidden Gem: tucked away next to the falls. You can almost drive past it and not realize, but you'd be missing out. Cozy and romantic are just a couple of words to describe this unique experience. The place has very limited seating due to its size so I'd highly recommend reserving a table ahead of time. The tables are crammed together, so you might be a bit intrusive to the table next to you. Service was a bit lacking, but I feel like the other staff members tried to help one another. We ordered the pictured items. I had the sole stuffed with crab. It was delightful! The sea was moist and the caper lemon sauce gave the whole dish the right amount of decadence it needed. The veggies still had its crunch allowing the plate to have good texture. My husband had the "pot pie". He seemed to like it a lot but I was not a fan of the amount of salt. Like true French cuisine, it was loaded with butter and that mixed with the puff pastry help saved the dish from being overly salty. This is just a personal preference though. The mixologist definitely did a great job with our drinks. The "new Manhattan" was particularly good. I'm not a bourbon drinker, so the fact that I'm saying it was good has to mean something for those who have similar taste buds. Not pictured is liver pate. I was starving, so I gobbled that up in 5 seconds. Needless to say, it was very good, but maybe anything is that good when you didn't eat since breakfast. Hope this helps!

We've been wanting to go to Paris Room for quite some time, but just never have. Tonight was the most perfect experience. Definitely make a reservation online! We loved sitting outside in the tent - the space is so welcoming and the little details from the live music, bread plates, flowers and wine glasses made dining even more fun! From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile by each team member and the service throughout our meal was incredible. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the crepes with the Béchamel sauce! Check out the website for the live music schedule and events! Thank you for a lovely evening! Looking forward to coming back again!

Paris Room is a lovely and pretty space, with great food, and amazing and really caring service. The cocktail options are several and creative, we had the (wonderful) espresso martini and one of the three (!) old fashioned options. As appetizers the escargots and the crab dip were both really good, then the beef short rib and the pork chop were equally perfectly cooked and paired with cooked fresh vegetables. Entrees come with a delicious side salad as well, and even the bread and blue cheese butter brought in the beginning are very good. All finished with a great creme brûlée as well. From the ambiance to the service to the food Paris Room is a pretty and heartwarming gem in the competitive dining scene of Chagrin Falls. Will definitely come back and highly recommended.

Our Bordeaux was even better in vintage wine glasses.

Chagrin Falls really has a nice assortment of restaurants. We came across the Paris Room as another location was booked for the night. What a treat. Beautiful, cozy restaurant with outstanding food and drink. Our server was excellent even though he was busy with lots of tables. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the food and our experience. Definitely coming back!

Delicious! I absolutely love how they're still paying attention to plating even when it's a takeout order. Our experience with the Paris Room has been great- for this order, we chose to go with curbside pickup so they just dropped off the food after we drove up. Will definitely be back!

Small place but very cozy and charming. We went in the group of 5 people. I really wanted to like it. Portions were on the smaller side. The bread was quite average with a sour taste, not a real French baguette. Pablo Picasso dish was simply boring and I don't recommend it. Pierre Auguste-Renoir(lamb meatloaf) was good. F. Scott Fitzgerald(Boneless beef short ribs) was good. Desserts were good we had Madam Springs' lemon pie which is more like a cheesecake, Lisa Marie's citrus olive oil cake with orange glaze and crème brûlée. Food is fairly average and the whole experience was not sufficiently good for us.

My husband is gluten free for medical reasons. When he ordered, he specifically confirmed that everything, including his beer, was gluten free. Despite that, the bartender served him a beer that was not gluten free. When we pointed it out, the bartender simply said, "Sorry about that, I'm new here. I don't know that stuff." A dietary restriction like gluten isn't something staff can afford to guess about. If you're unsure, you should ask someone before serving a customer. The shift leader's response made the situation even worse. She rolled her eyes, seemed annoyed that she was called over, and said, "Okay... sorry. I'll take the beer off." There was no genuine concern that a customer had been served something they specifically asked to avoid. The manager eventually came over and apologized, saying that he needed to better educate his staff and that the mistake was ultimately his responsibility. However, after a frustrating discussion, he told us he would comp our meals, but that we needed to "take care of my staff," even though neither employee involved offered a sincere apology or accepted responsibility for the mistake. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they're handled. Serving someone the exact item they asked you to avoid, then responding with indifference and expecting the customer to reward poor service, is unacceptable. If your restaurant advertises gluten free options, your staff should be properly trained on what is and is not gluten free. This experience left us with very little confidence that dietary restrictions are taken seriously here.

Per our request, our party of six was seated on the outdoor patio overlooking the Chagrin River waterfall, which made for a beautiful setting. One thing to note: you cannot reserve patio seating in advance, but you can request it upon arrival if space is available. We started with four appetizers: *Heavenly Biscuits - AMAZING. *Short Rib Potstickers - Excellent. *Spinach Artichoke Dip - Excellent. *Grilled Artichoke - Good, but not really my style of dish. For entrées, we tried several different items: *Grilled Fish of the Day (Grouper) - Excellent, although the portion was on the smaller side. *Lake Erie Walleye Fish & Chips - Very good. *Thai Steak Noodle Salad - Excellent. *Steak and Frites - Excellent. We also ordered two sides: *Coleslaw - Very good. Is it the best coleslaw I've ever had? No. Is it excellent and worth ordering? Absolutely. *Roasted Baby Yukons - Excellent. Since we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant graciously provided a complimentary dessert sundae. While the gesture was appreciated, I do wish guests were given a choice of dessert. The sundae was fine, but with several outstanding ice cream shops nearby, the ice cream itself was fairly average. Service was quick and efficient overall. There were a few minor areas for improvement: Wet naps would have been appreciated, as we had to request extra napkins multiple times throughout the meal. Service slowed down a bit during the dinner rush. The steak entrée arrived noticeably later than the rest of the main courses, which may have been due to the kitchen being overwhelmed. It also took a little longer than expected to receive extra plates when requested. These were relatively minor issues, however, and did not significantly detract from the evening. Overall, this was an excellent dining experience with great food, a beautiful patio overlooking the waterfall, and solid service. We would gladly return and would certainly recommend it for special occasions or a nice evening out.

So she chose the Christmas lights of Chagrin Falls and "Odd Fellows Restaurant" which looks out on the Gazebo and all the lights of the square. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately were seated at a comfortable table in the center of the room by a very professional young woman. Very shortly after, the sweetest, most bubbly young lady greeted us and introduced herself as Bianca, our server for the evening. I can't say enough about Bianca. She was absolutely extraordinary. Friendly is an understatement. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face. She was so personable you could not help but feel comfortable in her care for the evening. Throughout the 2+ hours we were in her hands she just kept getting more impressive. If you decide to give "Odd Fellows" a try you would be doing yourself a great service by requesting her as your server for the evening when you make your reservation. Our initial order included refreshing drinks from the bar along with great crusty bread and excellent "Roasted red pepper soup". Very nicely done. We followed that with our entrees. I ordered the "Sesame Tuna" which was very nicely prepared. My wife and sister-in-law had the "Walleye" and they loved it. My brother enjoyed the "Shrimp Bucatini". I must say the kitchen did an exemplary job all evening... Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with excellent coffee and very nicely presented desserts. A marvelous finish to a marvelous evening at "Odd Fellows". I give them my highest recommendation and encourage you to give them a try. Don't forget to request Bianca -- she is the cherry on top.

We also ordered Brussels sprouts, fries and "onion rings" for the table. The Brussels were fantastic, probably my best bite of the night. I also really loved the fries, they had the perfect amount of salt which I always appreciate. The onions rings were very good, but I would call them more of onion straws so just be sure you know what you're getting if you grab those.
